Today at Kroger in Spring Hill, TN, I got the deli lunchables for 4 cents!! They had some on manager's specials for 79 cents and I had a 75 cent coupon!! Woo Hoo!!

At our Kroger, they orange-sticker the clearance items. The UPC's differ, so the coupons beep. I save these items for the end of my order and explain to the cashier; she will need to call for an “over-ride”. You most certainly can use a Q on these items, but it can be a pain especially with the “coupon Nazis” LOL

Kroger on Forest Drive in Columbia, SC had various Sargento and Kraft cheese for $1. It was a mix of sliced, shredded, block and cracker cuts. They still had a big selection as of an hour ago. One of the employees said that they just had too much cheese and they needed to get rid of some. They all have long experation dates.

I saw tons of Kraft cheese on closeout sale near Atlanta, GA today! Various 8 oz. packages are priced at $1.66. Now I have to go find those coupons! :)

The Krogers near me (TX) will not accept coupons on close out items. Apparently, this is policy though I can't get anything from corporate. The cashiers don't catch it unless the coupon is greater than the price. Do you know anything about this?

My Kroger had the Beech Nut Let's Grow microwave bowls on closeout for 1.03. After the 1.00 off coupon, I only paid .03 per bowl. :-)

I cant EVER get coupons.com to print for me. It says "spoooling" forever in my printer task box until it finally causes my computer to crash and have to reboot. Not to mention if I try to print just one coupon, I cant ever find it on there. Any tips on navigating this site?

It's kind of like your reputation. The more you leave comments and interact the higher your number and then folks can hover the mouse over your face image and it will show your number. It's not really a feature we need but it is something automatic with the new system.

That is not right. If anything, they should have simply adjusted the coupon value down to the sale price of the product. If it had been me, I would have put them back, or done separate transactions. If they would not allow the separate transactions, I would have saved my coupons to use elsewhere and politely contacted the manager, and then the corporate office if necessary.

Update on the Right Guard deodorant: According to the store flyer the Right Guard is supposed to be $1.00 but the shelf tag stated $1.43. Thanks to reading your blog religiously, I finally had the knowledge to question the deodorant price when it rang up as $1.43. I so very politely asked the cashier, “Did that ring in as $1.00 as shown in the store flyer?” The cashier looked at the flyer and said, “You are so very right.” She called the CS manager over and asked what was going on with the deodorant price. The manager looded at me and said, “Oh, that deodorant in the flyer is supposed to be the one in the dollar bin. Would you like me to get them for you?” I fully expected them to be trial size but I was wrong. Regular size Right Guard deodorants cost me, after coupons and taxes, $.07 each. Since I could use three coupons ($2/2), I got six deodorants for the grandson to take back to college.

thanks Sue. No, I meant one coupon for each item purchased period. Like.. for instance.. they had a really good deal on the 100 calorie packs several weeks ago.. I bought 10.. I had 5 coupons they would only let me use ONE for all 10… the cashier AND the asst manager told me that it would be like they were paying me to buy the items if they let me use all of my coupons. I politely told her that the object of couponing was to save as much as possible, and since I had other items, they wouldn't “give” me any money back.. but, they were strong in their decision to only let me use one coupon. They said that is all that is allowed, one coupon per product.
