I went to Kroger and started out with the Nature Valley granola deal. I did not get my $3 coupon for my next purchase. Did anyone else have this problem? If so, what can I do to get my $3 coupon? Any ideas?

Also, I can't seem to find the Betty Crocker muffin printable coupons. Am I missing them?
  • BC muffin q's might be used up...i cant find them either but i have a couple from coupons.com still left over. i wanna grab some cinn. streusal they are 2.00 each this week. hasta la pasta

My Kroger had Betty Crocker frosting for $1.49. There is a $.50 coupon in the 2/7 GM flyer and a cellfire or shortcuts for $.50. Use both and it is free. Cheap Puproni with coupon and e coupon, also. With the game $5 off, coupons, and Kroger MC money I was able to walk out with almost $41 worth of food for only $3!!!!! Great day even without a mega sale.

well I did my shopping today I bought 250 dollars worth of stuff for 114. I wanted to spend under 100 bucks but I forgot we were almost out of bottle water and sodas. plus they had kroger brand fryer chickens for 88 cents a pound so grabbed 2 of those. I will just have to try harder next week
  • jessc5
My cashier today would not double ANY internet coupons today. I asked her when this started and she couldn't tell me (but my coupons did double last week!). That cost me $9.50 more!!!! Not a happy camper!
  • AshleyQ
This happened to me too for the 1st time this past Sunday. I was very surprised, many of the things I would not have bought if I had known they weren't going to double the q's. I didn't turn around but I will think twice before doing more shopping at Kroger, certainly won't make "extra" purchases other than what I need (and I can tell you right now Chex Mix and Brownies are "extra", lol). With more and more people starting to "coupon," it is a shame that Kroger is treating couponers so poorly, the are going to lose a lot of their customers and business. I think they are missing the mark here and are forgetting that most of their customers do have choices and they will choose to shop elsewhere. My thought is, even if they only make $0.10 on the product that is a dime more that they would have gotten otherwise, +$.08 handlng fee. It usually isn't just one item I buy either and that is money they made JUST because they doubled the coupon.
  • Barb
Yes, I think there are usually many items I would put back if I can't get the double on the coupons.

Some items I would never buy at certain prices, like the muffin mixes, etc. I do not think they are worth the retail price or anywhere close to it. Hamburger Helper is nice for a quick meal on a busy night, but I could leave it on the shelf for the rest of my life and not suffer for it.
  • amandastrickland
In Kroger's clearance section, they had Gillette Sensor 5 cartridge razor refills for 69 cents each! I thought that was nuts, so I bought 7 (normally these are $8.99 each). When I got home I saw that they were labeled as Noxema Watermelon gel on the Manager's Special tag. Oops!

I got a seriously good deal. I paid $4.83 for $63 worth of razors. That's 3 years worth of razors!!! :)
  • amandastrickland
Just got a coupon in the mail from Kroger that says "save $1.00 when you buy any 3 "cart buster" items.

Cool! More savings with this! :)
  • carrieholder

  • ann
Just an FYI Kroger in Atl/Decatur area is selling the Gold Medal flour for 1.49, with the .75 coupon that makes it .74! Yea!!!
  • jhoran
Remember those starburst and skittles q's from facebook - bogo? Well, 2 will cost you 0.11. Kroger has them 2 for 1.00 on sale. They will take .89 off on the free one (original price)
  • Kris
I went to Kroger tonight...bought 3 Olay Regenerist facial cleansers...they were on sale for $4.64...had $3 off coupons for each..my total was $4.92 + tax...and will submit for the $15 Oil of Olay rebate!
  • gatorbug
I went to Kroger last night and they had the Right Guard Active deodorant for 10 for $10.00, I had 4 of the $2 off 2 Right Guard products, I got 8 deodorants for just the tax, I do not use the Right Guard but anytime I find something for free even if I don't use it I buy it and donate it. The women's or men's shelter or homeless shelter can always use toiletries.
  • whit2001
I just saved $43 dollars and only paid $27. That was with a couple of extra items that were not in the sale. Great sale! I was able to get (3) Fiber One yogurts for FREE. Great shopping trip! Thanks for all the tips:)
  • Elizabeth
I went to Kroger today and picked up 4 boxes on Nature Valley Granola Bars. My $3 off coupon didn't print. :(
  • seibertsings
Mine didn't either. I'm disappointed, too. Customer service was closed. I'm going to check with them another day. This is the second time I've had trouble with those type of coupons.
  • Brenda
Could someone please explain the Iams cat and dog food catalina to me? Are the $3 & $4 catalinas given on the purchase of 1 bag of each?
  • joannesc
milk was not on sale at my Kroger and the cartbuster items didn't match

I live in Marietta, GA. Yesterday, I went to the Powder Springs Rd. Kroger and had a great trip. I went to get a few things and spent OOP $32.00 and saved $38.00. This store had Perdue boneless chicken breast on sale for $1.79. I am not sure if it was an in store sale but I was thrilled.
  • rubeka67
Some of the coupons are hard to find. Example: Old El Paso Products-I clicked on the word printable and it took me to the website, but I could not see anywhere on the page anything about coupons. I looked in the top right and there was nothing about coupons. Another example: Hormel Pepperoni-I went to the SS coupons and there was not one for Hormel Pepperoni. Maybe, I just don't know how to use the website well, I don't know. I am new to this. It sounds great if I could just figure it out!
  • Amy
I live in Spring Hill TN and the kroger here had SeaPack shrimp etc B1G1 and there is a $1 coupon in SS 2/7- made for a great deal! :)
  • Daphne
My Kroger (Franklin, TN) has the 8 oz Hormel Pepperoni packs for $1. Use the $.35/1 from 1/24 SS to pay $.30 each.
  • armywife97
My Kroger in GA wouldn't take the Nabisco cookie B1G1 with a gallon of milk Q. They said they have been getting fraudulant B1G1 Qs.
  • amy
I received the excedrin coupon and the oreo coupon. I used my without a hitch at publix.

Ps. My kroger has Energizer Max batteries on sale for $1.00. Attached to display are $.75 manf. coupons. This makes the batteries $.25 per package. Sale includes 4pack AAA and AA, 2 pack C's and D's, 1pack 9V. STock up. Expiration date 2016. Great for toys, flashlights, holiday decor, etc.
  • boyzrus3
So I took a trip to Kroger last night and I think I got some good deals, but only saved like 29%in the end. Had to purchase some items that I didn't have coupons for. Oh well. On clearance I found Horizon Organic milk singles (3 pack) for $1.89. I grabbed 5 packs. Was disappointed that our Kroger didn't have the 1.99 milk!!
Oh and I had a Manufacturers coupon for a free bottle of Excedrin up to 5.99 value. They refused to honor the coupon. I received this from the Novartis company after taking a questioner. Why would they not take this coupon?
  • Teresa
Happened to me just now with the same coupon for free Excedrin, manager said that they had received some fraudulent coupons and can't accept these anymore. I even showed them the entire page and envelope, but no luck.
  • Barb
Wow I just used mine at Target on Sunday. No problems.
  • Kris4
I can't seem to find the Driscoll's coupon on their site. Can anyone help me?
  • Martha
There's a .50 coupon on the Betty Crocker website for the Green Giant Steamers. This makes them only .28! Yeah!
  • nicole
just played the Kroger March Madness game that Jenny has listed this afternoon- after I played- i was given a list of items for a "mega sale": mix and match any 8 products and get $4 off. check out that website.
  • Nicole
my bad- the March Madness game is at Money Saving Mom's blog, not on Southern Savers. And to make sure I was clear, after you play the game they give you information about a Mega event and list the items that are participating, which can be downloaded and saved as a PDF file.
  • nicole
i just looked at the weekly add and the info after you play the game is NOT in it.
  • TJ
My CAT didn't print for the nature valley bars. Is there anything I can do? The store didn't have the catalina promo tagged on their shelf, so they said there wasn't anything they could do. Is there a way to contact the catalina company? TIA!
  • Sally
I read this hint in the comments somewhere on this site. Try emailing catalinamarketing.com. Give them your mailing address, the store name and address, the date and time on your receipt, and an explanation of the offer you expected to receive. I don't know yet if it works, but I wrote to them yesterday about a YoPlus Yogurt catalina that I was expecting, but did not receive. Good luck.
  • 1MiniMom
I don't know of a way to look them up. The deals print out like a catalina coupon when you check out. I used to ignore them but I have started keeping them just in case something goes on sale at a later date.
  • Robin
I can't find the Totino's pizza rolls Q. It's not even listed in red or other color on the insert variation for SS 2/7. Any ideas? I live in Cola SC. I checked the State paper and others and it's not listed as being in any of the inserts.
  • Laura
Marietta- I got the warm delights for free, they are really good! Also got the nut clusters for 29 cents a piece.
  • cannot find the taco shell coupon. Any help?
  • teachingthem
I couldn't find it either. However, in the store there were peelies "buy 2 El Paso products, get $1 off El Paso refried beans"... since the beans are $1 now, that made them free.
  • Rachel
Polaner Fruit Spread is 2.39 minus $1 off coupon in All you mag and on smartsource.
  • Rachel
At our Sevierville TN Kroger, Purdue Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast is 1.79/lb.

Johnsons Bath Buddy Bars are 1.09 (9c after $1 off Johnsons Baby product coupon on smartsource.com)

Snuggle fabric softener sheets (70 to 80 ct) are 4.19 minus $1 Kroger ecoupon minus 75c paper coupon= 2.44 each.

The JennieO turkey burgers I saw were 3 lb boxes (12 patties) for 4.99.

The Barilla whole wheat pasta is included in the $1 sale, 73c each after 55c/2 coupon from the Kroger My Magazine mailer.

I received a print off at check out for an upcoming catalina for California Pizza Kitchen: between 3/5 and 3/28: buy 2 get $1, buy 3 get $2, buy 4+ get $3. Looks like a great price if combined with the $1/off coupons.
  • for the coke, try mycokerewads.com
good site, been out for 5 years and they give u coke coupons when u buy coke (or get ur friends to give u the caps and boxes)
  • bunnyf
Can anyone help me? I tried to do the shortcut coupons today and none went through. I spent an hour matching the paper coupons to the shortcut, the store manager said, That won't work using 2 manufacturer coupons on the same product and I told her I thought that was the point?
    Help!
  • itismedia
Bunny, I am not sure when you loaded your coupons, but I do it at least a day ahead. Most of the time when they send me an e-mail saying there are new coupons or I see that Jenny has posted it I will go on there and load the ones my family normally use. That way I know there has been plenty of time for them to load. I then check when I am making my list to make sure I still have it.
I try to think about it this way...it takes me 1 or 2 days to get my savings statement from them so I try to give that long for the coupons to load on my card.
  • ok, sometimes it takes a little while for them to load, try at least 3 hours later... and refer them as e-coupons... u cannot use 2 paper coupons on one item but the ecoupons u can use one and a paper one... this week shortcuts has been slow
  • taurus49
how do you know what products to buy and how many to get the catalina coupons from krogers
  • taurus49
how do you know what products to buy and how many to get the catalina coupons
  • MarilynB
    Jenny,
I loaded 3 Shortcut ecoupons on my Kroger card last Thursday night. It said they would be available in about 10 minutes. I went to Kroger on Friday night and the coupons it not pull from my card when I checked out. This was the first time I tried to use these. Any idea what went wrong.

    Thanks!
  • Sherry
I signed up for a Kroger card over a month ago and cellfire and shortcut still can't "find" my card number. I wonder if they workers forgot to turn in my application! It's so frustrating.
  • ann
me too!! I got my new card since last fall and cellfire still cant find mine :(
  • itismedia
Marilyn, I would try calling the companies. Also check and make sure you entered your Kroger card number correctly.
  • ALSK
There's also a coupon for a free Gillette body wash with the purchase of a Fusion shave prep from one of the February PG inserts. That would be a good coupon to pair with the $1 off Fusion coupon for a shave gel and body wash for .88!
  • kellyrphillips
That coupon is for the Fusion Shave Gel only; which is NOT included in the sale. It is more expensive. It is the Gillette Series Shave Gel that is on sale.
Using those coupons on the kind that are on sale would not be right; those should be taken off the list because they do not match up.
  • The Bumblebee packets of tuna are $.79, with the 1/2 from Sunday's paper, they are .40 a piece.

The Starkist gourmet tuna is also a good price. It is $.99 with a printing $.75 off coupon for your next Kroger purchase if you buy 4. Combine that with the printing coupon from for $1/2, makes it $.31 a piece.
  • Diana
A friend was told today at Kroger that they won't take ANY internet coupons. Anyone hear this? I hope it's not true!
  • LWWants2Save
Carrollton, GA won't take an internet-printed coupon if it makes the item you're buying free. Say you buy a $1 item and try to use a 50-cent coupon (that would double), they have refused mine.
  • u should be able to contact them at 1-866-221-4141 and complain about that... also use this form to contact the maker of any veri-fi coupon:
    http://www.coupons.com/CRC/contact.asp
    or call 650·605·4600
also for temporary use use this:
    http://www.coupons.com/corp/pdf/Distribution_Co...
this is how u detect fake ones and use it to your advatage
  • i work at kroger, and its up to the general manager, at my store we take the manufacture coupons (no other company's logo allowed) id recommend u go to veri-fi's site and contact them so they will contact the store and talk to them about it (veri-fi is coupons.com verification thing, look on ur coupon for the site)
  • wnblyons
The Kroger on Wilma Rudolph in Clarksville, TN had boneless pork chops for 1.79 lb. They were out but it was advertised in store so I asked an associate if I could get some and he asked how many I wanted in the package and went and made the packages up for me. This Kroger also only carries a few Tyson products and didn't carry the split breast or whole fryers but they did carry a Kroger brand for the same price. I had no problems with any of my coupons and this was my first trip to do heavy grocery shopping with coupons at Kroger.
  • Hesperides
Here in Lebanon, TN - Barilla PLUS is not included in the sale. Betty Crocker Muffin Mix is $2.00, not $1.00. Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes are $1.50, not $1.00. The Pillsbury tubes on sale were the tiny ones. And they don't carry Jenny-O Turkey Burgers. Did pretty well, anyway, saving 46%. Pretty good for me @ Kroger.
  • sue
how do i know what and how many products i need to purchase to get the catalina coupons. I dont see anything in the kroger sale ad, i am trying to use our krogers but i am completely in the fog with this one.
  • amandastrickland
Go to www.hotcouponworld.com and type in Kroger catalina in the search box. It will show you a forum where people post the latest catalinas coming out. Very helpful!
  • jodimom
Can someone please tell me what the front is on the SS 2/07? I'm looking for the tortino pizza rolls coupong and I can't find it in the 4 SS that I have marked as 2/07.
    thanks!!
  • Kim
    Jodimom,

Usually the Totinos coupons are found in the GM (General Mills) inserts, ours didn't have any this time. Jenny puts SS instead of GM, so always check there if you are looking for something in the SS and can't find it! HTH! (It confused me for a while too!)

Thanks again Jenny for all the hard work you do!!
  • christie_b
Has anyone been able to print the Driscolls blueberry coupon? I can't seem to find it on the website.
  • 1MiniMom
    Buy Nature Valley Granola Bars between 2/22 & 3/21. Buy 2 get $1, 3 get $2, 4 or more get $3.
    Buy Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs between 2/27 & 3/21. Buy 3 get $1, 4 get $2, 5 or more get $3.
  • Faye
    #1MiniMom - Thanks so much!!!!

How did you find out about those catalinas? Maybe in the future I can start looking them up.
  • Faye
Can anyone tell me how to find out what catalina deals are going on at Kroger? I didn't see it in the shopping list and would really like to know.

I got a big surprise 2 weeks ago when I bought 4 boxes of Kellogg's cereal and a coupon printed to get $3 off my next purchase!!! :)
  • SUMMER
THIS IS THE ONLY LIST I KNOW OF...
    http://mommysnacks.net/snack-summary/kroger-cat... here.
  • emilyinalabama
How does the shortcuts/cellfire coupons work? Does it give a coupon for each of the specific item you buy or is it only 1 coupon no matter how many you buy?
  • Tiffany
Cellfire and Shortcuts only allow one coupon no matter how many you buy.
  • Barb
I think she may be asking if she can load a coupon per item and expect for it to be taken off.

For instance, I loaded 2 coupons for buy 2 get .50 off.

I bought 4 items satisfying the requirements for 2 coupons and 2 coupons came off.
  • Meri
How do you load an ecoupon more than once?
  • sometimes both cellfire and shortcuts have the same coupon. Also, they sometimes overlap in expiration after the new coupons have loaded.
  • Kristin
At Kroger in Virginia Saturday I was told that they now only accept a maximum of two printed coupons per transaction!!! They said this had come from headquarters or something. Of course I have seen absolutely nothing on the Kroger website, the Kroger weekly ad in the paper, or in the store about this frustrating new policy. Has anyone else run into this problem? Grrrrrr....
  • OH NO!! That's disheartening, where are you at in Virginia? I'm in Richmond. I hope it's not true!!
  • CB
I'm in Richmond, VA too...they've always limited IP's to 2 like coupons. For instance, I can use 2 IP chex mix coupons and 2 IP yogurt coupons, etc. in the same transaction. I was disheartened last night when they enforced the do not double on the IP's that I had...it made a difference of $5.80. Oh well!
