Question about the Olay Rebate in general: When you submit for the rebate, is the certificate they send you only good for Olay products, or is it $15.00 to spend on anything at all (ex: can I spend my rebate money on every-day essential products like toilet paper?).
I've been disappointed by a rebate before when I could only use my rebate amount for the same products that I purchased in the first place. Does anyone know what form the Olay rebate will come in?

The Two Notch Road store was out of razors, so I went to the Target on Garner's Ferry Road. They would not accept the free body wash coupon when you bought the razor. It was very frustrating, because all they would say was we don't accept all manufacturer coupons. They agreed I had the stuff the coupon called for but wouldn't take it

You should be able to. If I remember correctly the Pro-X deal was specifically that type only. This one is on 3 Olays, body washes, lotions and so on.

This is a $15 rebate. They should be two seperate rebates.

My local Big Lots store has olay body wash for @2 a bottle. I can't remember if they take coupons or not but I'm going to check back with them today.

I havent' seen an answer to this yet . . . Does anyone know if the Olay Rebate will work with the FREE body washes? The P&G deal says *before* coupons BUT there is no mention of any of that on the Olay rebate. So, it makes me wonder if I will really get the rebate. Hope someone knows for sure. :o)

I found the Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash on sale at Dollar General for 1.87. The "vitality" is the one that rang up 1.87. The other scents ring up for 2.50.

I would guess no, but if you do the razor deal and have the free body wash coupons WYB the razors the full size will be free anyway. The full size ones free are more worth your while.

I went to Target, bought 1 each of the razors, used my coupons, even got the free Olay body wash. When I asked the cashier about the $5.00 gift card, she told me "we must not do it because the register would have prompted me." ???? How do I know if she knows what she's talking about?

The register did prompt the cashier to give me the gift cards today. I would say you need to either have the ad in hand or be able to show someone the sign in the store. The razors weren't marked, this week it is the Venus Breeze and Spa Breeze, razors that give the gift card. You need to get the spa breeze, because the wording on the $2 coupon specify spa breeze. Then at my Target, there was a sign showing the $5 gift card when you buy 3 on the Olay total effect body wash 7 in 1 8.4 oz., and the bonus pack olay body washes- the ones with the free sample sizes on them. At my Target in Canton, GA, it was the Olay Ribbons, Olay Quench and regular olay body wash. Hope this helps!

I know some other areas are reporting the body wash deal not working. I think it is definately regional. It did not work for me in the Richmond,VA area. I scanned more than one type, but none said they qualified for the gift card. The razor deal did work for me and all of the coupons for the razors and free bodywash worked. I also got Olays with the free lotion, so that was a plus. I was bummed about not getting the gift card for the Olay, but at least got $10 in GCs for the razor deal. This will still be a money maker for me without the Olay GC with the rebate. I love Olay body washes, so I was excited about this deal.

FYI for other readers, when my coupons were scanned at the register I saw them all get deducted, but for some reason 3 qs did not show up on my receipt for the razors. I did check the numbers and all were accounted for in the total. Seems strange some didn't show when printed out, but at least the deal worked and the numbers added up right.

Also, I tried to get a second receipt for the Olay & P&G rebate, but didn't want to hold up the line and asked the girl at the register if CS could print another receipt for me. She said yes. Bummer though because it can only be done at the register right after your purchase. :( So, I am planning on emailing P&G about possibly sending a copy of the receipt since it is for coupons and not cash. I will send the original to Olay. I have emailed places when I didn't get rebate checks (must have gotten lost in the mail) and they have always honored the rebate when I contacted them and gave them copies of everything. I am guessing P&G likes to make their customers happy, so we will see. I would like to get the coupons and the Olay rebate if it works out.

I found the Olay's that produced the gift card when I went out shopping yesterday at a different Target. Too bad I used all my coupons. Oh well, I still made money so I guess I cannot complain. The extra $5 gc would have been nice though.

At the register when she rang me up it did prompt the cashier to give me 2 $5 gift cards. I don't know if it is still going on today or not. Woohoo! I found 2 of the Venus embrace razors at target in the baskets below the mens razors and then they had a cheaper one that didn't come with the holder or any extra cartridges so I just got that one so that I could get 3 of the olay body washes. I payed about $15 OOP and got (2) $5 gift cards and will turn in one reciept for the olay mir. This was a great deal! My one mistake was not to ask for a rebate receipt. Is there any way I could still get one if I bring my receipt back to the store tomorrow? Or is there any other way to be able to use these receipts for both the Olay MIR and the P&G coupon book?

I went to Target today to get my deal and they had a lot of the razors. The lady did have problems with my coupons but had another person come over and override the register and I got the deal. However, I was not able to get an additional copy of my receipt. Both ladies said there was no way to do it. Any suggestions?

There is a way. I asked her to do it before she started ringing it up, but she had to wait til the end when she had gotten my first reciept. She just had to get a manager to do it. You may still be able to get one. I would call and ask.

Don't bother with this deal at the Harbison Target. They are out of the Fusion and Venus products shown in the picture and that is all they will give the gift card for purchasing. They have been out of them most of the week however the ads are still posted. Also they are not giving the g/c for the Olay body washes. The associates were none too friendly about helping customers with this confusion either. I didn't realize the need for duplicate receipts for the P&G and Olay rebates at checkout. Any suggestions?

I went to Harbison tonight and luckily found 2 of the razors in the baskets of mens razors and bought one of the cheaper ones. I also got the gift card on the olay products. I guess it depends on the cashier. They were friendly to me. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

At CVS I found Olay Definity Foaming Moisturizer on clearance marked $7.49. I had an Olay Regenerist or Definity Moisturizer/Cleanser coupoon (expires 2/28/10) ( PG 1/7). I get to the register and it rings up $2.99- I got it for FREE. I went back to the car got another coupon and got another one for FREE. So if your CVS has a clearance shelf or rack look for it you will be amazed at what you can find on there. Also was able to get an Acne Free Kit for Free using the $3.00 off coupon (ugh can't remember which paper it came in). Plan on submitting my reciept to get the rebate for the Olay-woo hoo!!!

If I can't find enough razors at Target I am going to try the Walgreens deal with the Gillette razors. They have them for $8.99 with a $4 RR all month and the RR rolls (at least it did for me yesterday). With the $4 RR I already have, plus 3 $2 P&G Q's for the razor and the coupon for free olay body wash, I should be able to purchase 3 for a total of $8.97 + tax by rolling my RR. $6.03 profit plus end with 4RR. HTH

I wonder if Olay will give me the rebate if the coupon shows that I got the body wash for free after coupons?? I went to Target the other night & did the Venus Breeze, Gillete Fusion, Olay Body wash deal & got them for .99 each, but they made me do them in separate transactions.
I just know that when I tried to do the Breeze Contour Meter rebate awhile back, they wouldn't give it to me b/c I technically got the meter for free after coupons! :(

1. I notice some rebates specifically exclude Sam's, Costco, BJ's. Is it reasonable to assume that is the case for all of them?

I tried this today at Target in Spartanburg. There was a display of the Olay body washes on an endcap with a sign that said if you bought 2 you would get a $5 GC. The razors (down an aisle) weren't marked for the sale price of $6.99 but I just price checked them and that's what they rang up for.

I bought 3 Olay body washes and 3 Venus razors as Jenny recommended. I didn't think to buy 4, although I had the coupons. I just thought that the GC promo might have had a limit of 1 - but I never even checked. Thinking about it now, Jenny probably said to buy 3 of each because the $15 rebate is WYB 3 Olay body washes.

I had no problems using the the Free Olay wash WYB Venus Embrace combined with the $2/1 Venus Embrace. I got 2-$5 GC. Hope this helps those of you wanting to try this deal, it's a good one!

Oh! I also meant to say that I asked them if I could get a second receipt printed (after the first printed) so the customer service manager had to come over, but I was able to get one. Thank you so much Jenny for all your expertise!

Has anyone been able to successfully do the Target deal yet? I tried to do a similar deal a few months ago with Glade candles. I had a Buy One get something else free coupon and I had a coupon for the item I was purchasing and there was a Target gift card attached to the deal as well. The cashier and the CSM told me I could not use a coupon on the item being purchased. They said it was "double dipping". I tried to explain to them that it was not, and they Target would get reimubursed for all coupons used. But they would not budge. I find myself shopping at Target less and less these days.

So far I've had good cashiers but I find myself not bothering with their deals have the time because I know they will be out of stock when I get there! I was so bummed this week when I went for 3 different things and they were out of ALL of them! And this Monday - 1 day after the ad came out!!

I just went to Target to buy (3) Olay Total Effects Body Wash and no gift card was given to me. I asked the guy and he got a manager involved and he said that there is no such deal if it wasn't in their ad. I live in Nashville so I don't know if it's a regional thing or what but it was quite a bummer! I was looking forward to sending in my $15 rebate!

i am not one to complain about deals that don't work for me but was at target today tried to get 3 venus razors and 3 of the olay total effect body wash, the gift cards (2x$5) generated no problem but when i gave them the buy razor get olay free q and it would not go through and they weren't going to do an overide - i hadn't even tried the $2 off the razor q.
spoke to the manager no help - i tried to calm and logical but it wasn't going to work - i just had them cancel the purchase - but i really was aggravated.
i am just posting this for those of you who may think to brave the weather, it may all be for nothing.

The people at Target are rude and the act like you are a thief if you are trying to save money. It really has changed my mind about shopping with them. I dislike Walmart more but may consider going back.

They should have used at least ONE of the coupon types~the BOGO or the $2. I have found that my Target will override just about anything with regard to coupons. You DID buy the razors, which was the requirement for the coupon. I don't see how they can regard the $5 card offer as replacement for a manufacturer's coupon because you did not present them with anything~you did not have a choice in the matter of that discount.

I did this deal no problem at Target in Woodstock GA. Cashier even said - wow you did great!

Where do you get the multiple coupons?? The scenerio is showing to use (3) Free Body wash coupons from proc & gamb... do I have to buy more papers to get 3 coupons or something?

I'm assuming the papers have to be purchased unless people have ways of getting inserts without paper purchase.

I bought 2 papers and have saved so much money since Sunday that I wish I had purchased more.

I bought 4 newspapers last week and had two sets of inserts given to me. So yes you should buy more. Each newspaper costs $2 and each one had a free body wash coupon and that alone saved me 5.49 at Target today. So I have already made my money back

And not all papers cost $2! Both of the papers I have a chance at cost 1.50 - 1.75 but I've found a gas station that sells them for only 89 cents each! Gas stations are great places to try for cheaper prices.

And Dollar Tree sells papers for just $1

You could try your local paper. Call them and ask them if they have any of that paper left. Usually the small papers do, and only cost a fraction of what the large Sunday papers do.

Many of us buy more than one Sunday paper. I always buy at least two, and sometimes up to 4.

I did this today. I bought 1 Fusion razor, 3 Venus Embrace and 3 body washes. Used a $4 Q, 3- $2 Qs and 3 B1G1 Qs. I got back 3 $5 GCs. I did check all the Olays at the scanner before going to register to make sure they said they'd give the GCs. Fantastic deal but it's hard to find all of the razors in stock at the Target. So many people recognized the great deal on just the razors.

Can you tell me what body wash you got that was giving the $5.00GC?

I got it on the Total Effects the first time but then I scanned everything else and was also able to get it on the other Olays that were priced at $5.49. Many of which came with a sample bottle attached.

It is only the Olay total effects 7 in 1 8.4 fl oz. that I could find offering the $5 gc. These are also on sale for $5.49.

I went to both Lawrenceville GA and Buford GA

There is no gift card for the Olay body washes here (Knoxville). I purchased 2 razors and 3 body washes. I did receive Rouge magazine today and used $1.00 off the third body wash and a coupon for buy a razor and get $5.00 worth of Zest free. So I took care of the absent gift card that way.

So, mine ended up being 15.46 for 2 razors, 3 body wash, 12 bars of Zest. I did receive one $5 gift card for the razors. So, in the end (after rebate) I will be making approx $4.50 off the deal. I am really impressed. I just started doing this and I feel like I've gone wild and someone's going to tell me I can't use all these coupons!

okay. I just did this at Target in Mobile, AL. I did not get a giftcard for the body wash. Also, I saw on a different website that you would get a giftcard for a cheaper venus razor, but you dont. I tried it. So anyway, I bought 3 razors with 3-$2 off coupons and 3 body washes with 3-free coupons when you buy venus. My total with tax was $13.34 and I got one $5 gift card. I will be submitting the receipt for the olay rebate so I still came out pretty good without the second giftcard.

Both of these coupons seem to be for Venus Embrace. Will Target policy allow this? I can envision trouble with the cashier.

my target ad shows both the fusion and the embrace on sale for 6.99 and you get a $5 gift card when you buy 2 (any 2), so you would need to buy 4 to get 2/$5 gift cards. so shouldn't be a problem with the coupons :)

I'm referring to her Target deal idea. Save $2 off venus and also get free Olay from buying the same Venus. Some places won't let you do that. I don't know Target's policy.

i got ya...the coupon for the body wash when u buy the razor - is really for the body wash, so you can use the razors coupon with it but i think it would be a no-no to use a body wash coupon as opposed to the razor coupon...does that make sense? lol
