My Target would not accept the J&J first aid or band aid coupons. The manager stated that the item was not for this coupon even though the coupon did not indicate a size. Has anyone had success with these?

My Target wouldn't accept the first aid coupon either. The cashier tried to scan the coupon but it wouldn't work. I was told that the coupon says that it excludes trial sizes which includes the travel size.

Both coupons worked for me, but the cashier did lower the amount to .97 or .99 accordingly. She needed help from the manager to do it, so it was a hassle. Worth it for 10-15 items free!

I had had trouble with Target before. They have to accept the coupon if it doesn't say a size on it. Print out the coupon policy & take it with you.

Yeah the lady this morning looked at my coupons, looked in the bag, then at me like I was trying to steal from her. I told her the coupons (for Johnson's baby wash & Satin shave gel) did not indicate size. She put them thru any way, but I noticed I didn't get a “have a nice day” from her. oh well

Kelley, I had a slight problem with my coupons at target also, but the solution is go to another target. The manager isn't going to change his mind, even though he is wrong, all they have to do is reduce the coupon to match the price of the product.. I am very lucky, because I have 6 Target stores to choose from.

I do not see some of these deals in my Charleston Target ad. Is the ad regional or maybe for a supertarget? For example, the games are not in my ad…but what a deal!

Where do find the Target store coupons? Also does anyone know of a Target in the general Columbia, SC area that carries produce? I have not had great success in finding items with the Target on Garners Ferry and wanted to know if there were better options in the area.

My store also had some boxes of Hefty storage/freezer bags on unadvertised sale for $1 (reg. $1.99) and they had $.15 peelies. I'd planned to buy the Up & Up with my $1/$3 purchase coupon, but the Hefty were unexpectedly less expensive. It was only select boxes: 13-ct gallon freezer, 22-ct quart storage and another gallon storage (not sure of the qty).

My SuperTarget wouldn't take them today,either. I even went over to Customer Service and politely asked why not. The manager said they were for regular size games. I went to Walmart and they took the Monopoly and Guestures, but not the Sorry for the Sorry Revenge game. She did try to scan the coupon for the Sorry game twice and it beeped.

Does anyone else have trouble using coupons? Today I wanted to purchase the Tide detergent and Tide stain release – had a $1.50 off for the detergent and the B1 Detergent G1 Stain Release free. I was told that I couldn't use both coupons – even after a 20 minute phone call with corporate – because the two items together were considered a “qualifying purchase” for the B1G1 coupon and that you could only use one manufacturer's Q for every qualifying purchase. Anyone else getting this kind of response or is it just my Target?

Funny thing is that in my previous transaction I purchased the Venus razor (with the $2 Q) and got the free olay body wash (also with the Q). I guess the cashier didn't notice that one. I didn't point it out thinking they might take it back. :)

Went to Target today for the Healthy Choice and Quaker gift card promotions. I don't like oatmeal, but discovered at the Target store in Lithonia, Ga., that Quaker instant grits were included in the promo. A 12-pouch box was on sale for $1.99, so if you bought 5 that would make them $.99 each.

Don't forget the tide $1.00 coupons, they work on the travel size tide packs. It only does one load but if you have enough coupons its worth going. My Target wasn't happy about doing this but they did it anyway!

i tried the razors and olay body wash deal posted, but the computer would not let her do the free body wash- she said it was because of the $2 off coupons already scanned- wasn't sure how to argue, so i had her remove the body washes- this was at the charleston sc target-

If you go to the Quaker site and “create your day” you can get a $1 any Quaker q. It is a RedPlum and is different from the other $1 off q, so if you printed your limit on the other one, this will get you 2 q’s (it will allow you to print it twice).

I didn't use coupons for the cups and only the brown sugar ones were part of the deal at my particular Target. I definitely got my 3 gift card on 3 separate transactions to roll the gift cards.

Target in Rock Hill would not allow any of the games coupons except on full size games.

Target in Lexington, SC will not let you use those game coupons for the card games even though I protested because it does not say on the coupon that it has to be for the board games. Also, they do not have Tums on sale either.

I got some hassle from my target store about using the $1.00 off coupon to get the J&J baby wash for free. I said ok to the cashier and then went over to customer service and asked her to adjust the price of the coupon to $0.97 and then the coupon worked. They tried to tell me that the price only applied to full size items, not the travel size. Also the lady at the customer service desk told me that Target was changing their coupon policy- has anyone heard this? Thanks!

I was able to get these at http://www.hasbro.com. Look around on the home page for a Playsavings box. Click on that, then follow through to the coupons. From there I could print out two each of the game Q’s.

I had a hard time last night at out Target. I got 3 venus razors and 3 olay body washes. I had 3- 2.00 off for the razors and then 3- free coupons for the body wash. Then in return I would get 2 – 5.00 gift cards back. Well she tried to tell me that I could only use one coupon per transaction but after about 10 mins of explaining it to her, she gave it to me.

I need to vent for a minute! I just went to Target two days ago and the refills for the Soft Soap essentials soap was marked 2.49 and all of them had 2.00 off coupons on them. I bought two instead of going crazy. I decided to leave some for others to find. I went back today with the thought that if any were left I would buy a couple more. SOMEONE HAD PULLED EVERY 2.00 OFF COUPON OFF EVERY BOTTLE! I was so mad. I am still so mad. You can look at the wrapper and tell where the coupon was. I can't believe that someone did that. They didn't even buy the bottles and that is the best price I have ever seen. UGH! Sorry I had to get that out. Then the cashier didn't take off a coupon and the customer service person tried to argue that I didn't have it. When he finally went and pulled the cashier's coupons I pulled it right out (it was long and skinny). He couldn't argue when I found it without looking. It was 4.00! UGH UGH UGH. Sorry again. I appreciate the venue to vent! =+)

Go to couponcarryout.com and search for venus razor coupons… they have the $2 off ones there which are great at CVS this week in conjunction with the buy a venus razor and get a olay body wash free! Plus you get $2 extra care bucks! The sad thing is that it takes 3 days to mail to you.. so more than likely the coupons will not be here by Sunday! :(

Jenny just did a post for a 5.00 gift certifcate if you buy 3 olay body wash. I do not see it in the flyer and was wondering if this is an unadvertised deal. Does anyone know?

I went to the Target in Lexington SC today and was treated like I was a thief. Every coupon I used, which were all valid manufacturers coupons, was scutinized by the rude cashier. Maybe she was doing her job but making me feel like I am stealing when I am looking to save money is pretty bad. I tried to use the game coupons and was told, NO!!! it had to be the board game. Not a single thing on the coupon states that. I did complain and wasa told by the STORE MANAGER to fill out the survey (and complain)!! Nice huh?? I hate Walmart and would rather cut off my arm then to go in there but I don't really care to go back to Target for my purchases. Walmart actually has never questioned me about any coupons.

I went to our local Target to use the game coupons, and was treated terribly. They would not let me use most of them. The cashier and manager said that it had to be the exact same game that was pictured on the coupon. To me, when it says “1 Sorry Game,” that leaves it open to any of the Sorry games. The coupon does not say “The Sorry Game.” The number 1 implies that there are more than one that would be acceptable. I attempted to buy one of the Sorry card games AND the Sorry Vintage edition (which is the original Sorry in the wooden box with the old-style board). It was the same story with all of the coupons that I tried to use except one. That was the “Things” coupon.

The “Things” coupon was not accepted by the register at first, and she refused to even look at it at first. I looked her squarely in the face and said “I'd like clarification on your policy, please, since that is the EXACT same thing as the picture.” She just glared at me and tried scanning it again, and it took the coupon the second time. She refused to try to scan any of the others again.

As I collected my bag to leave, she stated “sorry about that” in the rudest voice I have ever heard. It was so rude that the person in line behind me had a shocked look on her face when she heard it as well. She was very clearly not sorry about anything, and neither was the manager.

After all of that, I will never set foot in Target again. I have had dealings with Target 3 times in 9 months, and all three times there were problems. The first time was not as big a deal, just a problem with something that was ordered for my baby registry. The second time, the store said I would be mailed a 10% off coupon for my baby registry, but it never came. When I called the 1-800 number, they said that the store should have given it to me, but they would “change my due date in the computer” and I would receive it in 4 weeks. 8 months later, I have still never seen it. Now this. I feel like I have been cheated out of money twice, and I have definitely experienced rudeness 3 times now. Three strikes and you are out!

I didn't try to get the Tide deal, but I have had MANY similar problems at Target with coupons. I will most likely only shop at Target as a last resort due to my many problems.
