well, when i said i'd “pay in store” and it gave me a total, it subtracted out the amount of the collage, equaling zero. so, if they have something to say about it i'll just show them a print out that says i don't owe anything!

You’ll need to create an account at Walgreens.com. From the home page, click on the “Photo” icon at the top of the page and that will take you to the photo area of the site. Once you have created your account (either from the home page or the photo main page), upload photos from your hard drive (or email them) to an “album” you create. You can then click on the “Gifts” tab and choose the “Collage” option (it says something like from .29).

You can select up to a 8×10 photo collage with the VDAY promo (5×7 and 4×6 are also available). Choose landscape or portrait orientation, and decide if you would like to add a title to your collage (you can change your mind later). Click Continue.

Now, you add the pics you have uploaded. You can select up to 20 photos. Select the album where your pictures are located and follow the steps by clicking on the photos you would like to add. When you have finished your picture selections, you will be presented with a preview of your collage. If you need to make changes to the background, choose different photos, etc… etc…, the options are available on the preview page–click on the “View Options” link under “Need to make Changes?” Please note, as far as I can tell, you can “shuffle” the order of all of the pictures, but you can not select where you would like to place an individual picture. I finally found an order I was pleased with, it just took awhile. You can also change the width of the borders around the individual pics (thin, medium or thick), as well as the color of the border.

Once you have everything the way you want it, you’ll need to add the collage to your cart. First, make sure you click the check box that says, “I have reviewed my collage prints”. If you decide you don’t like the collage and you want to give up or start over, just click on the “Cancel” button located at the bottom left of the screen.

Follow the instructions for ordering–make sure you put your code (VDAY) in the Coupon box. Select that you will be picking up at a local store to avoid shipping charges and you will be presented with stores near you after you enter your zip code.

Select a time range for pick up, and you are almost done. The coupon will “zero out” the balance and you will receive an email confirmation. You can only use your VDAY code once, but it appears as though the system generates a “PERCENTAGEOFF” coupon (equal to about 20% when I did it) on your next order. I am picking mine up tomorrow–can’t wait!! :o)
