Jenny often lists "FIller" items with in-ad coupons. Does the in-ad walgreens coupon count as a coupon in a transaction? For example, it I have 2 items and I want to use 3 manufacturers coupons, can I throw in a cheap "filler" item that has a in-ad coupon? Hope that makes sense.

That's right, unfortunately. If you read through the comments above, at least 2 of us mentioned this mistake. Everyone makes them sometimes, even Jenny. :( <br>I hope you had them void out or refund the transaction, at least!

At Walgreens today I bought 3 boxes of Tylenol cold at 4.99 each, but did not get my $5 RR because it totaled 14.97 and not $15 before tax!?! Based on your scenario, I thought 3 was enough :(

WAGs was out of the Dove Mens body wash. They would only give me a Rain check for the sale price 5.99 not the RR. Is this the way it works for rain check items and RR?

I had a Wags issue, I hope someone will offer an opinion on. My first and second transactions were fine- Poligrip and Dove Men's, with coupons, got back 2RR and 8RR. Huggies, with coupon and RRs, got back $3RR.<br>THEN, the problem. Got 6 Garnier- 3 conditioners and 3 style products, used 6 coupons, a 10$ RR and a $3RR, paying $4.95 after tax, but the register didn't print my $10RR from Garnier. After the manager said it was because I MUST be using a 10$RR that I already got from Garnier, and basically calling me a liar twice, until I made the cashier pull out RRs that I used and showed him that it said "Thanks from Pepsi," he voided and re-rang at a different register, and still it didn't print my RR. We checked every item to be sure it was in the ad- it was. Finally, he decided that it wasn't printing my RR because of the 6 1.00 Garnier coupons, because thay say 1 coupon per purchase. I tried to explain that's not the same as 1 per transaction, but he wasn't buying it. So I left the stuff, but I still want that Garnier, and I can't figure out why the RR wouldn't print. Any ideas? I want to try again today, but can't take a huge hassle. BTW, I had my fillers, so lack of filler wasn't an issue.

Way to hang in there and props to you! My husband got ME started on this and we both have learned some hard lessons but just keep at it. Way to go... I know it's hard feeling like the only man here. I used to laugh at my husband for being "the only guy" and now I couldn't be happier that he started doing this!

Its really not that bad at Wags. They are my fav place to coupon at and the nicest employees here. Food Lion is my pain in the butt. Love Bi-Lo here. Give Wags a chance to prove themselves, ok.

So I went to my local Walgreen's tonight thinking that it would be a bad experience for me like it has been for a few others. I have to admit it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I went to the cosmetics register so that I could use my 15% discount coupon. The cashier used the 15% coupon on all transactions! I was surprised. I purchased 2 packages of Huggies diapers and used (2)$2 off coupons. She scanned a in store coupon for a $1 off for each one of the diapers that I had no clue about. The diapers ended up being $2.99 per pack! This was a great first trip for me and I will definitely be going back for more! Thanks you guys for all of your tips!

Just a heads up. I did the Kotex deal first and then used my RR to buy Huggies. My RR for Huggies didn't print b/c they are made by the same company. WAG is def. the biggest pain and I only go there if the deals are too good to pass up, and usually even then I regret going.

That must have been why the poor kid was shaking like a leaf when I was going through the line tonight. I was thinking... why doesn't he just scan the coupons and not worry about it???? That explains it!

Good customer service means keeping their attitude in check. That is what is wrong with Walgreens - their rude cashiers.

I have only been couponing since October and I have always been leary of using Walgreens but Walgreens has recently won me over this week. I have bought over $120 worth of items this week for only $30 and I also have $15 RR to use for my next run. This to me is worth trying. Walgreens is picky but if you learn their game it makes it worth it. It takes time and I am still learning. But this is great I would have never been able to buy all of this product before for the full prices and now every week. I get a high from just amount I save at Walgreens and CVS alone. This is great but patience is the key!

When buying a B1g1 at a grocery store they split the price, when buying a b1g1 at a drugstore you actually buy one and get the other free. you would want to get the second item when buying at a drugstore or you lose your free item.

In regards to the cashiers, apparently Walgreens is making the cashiers personally responsible for any errors and they have to pay for the errors out of pocket. So it explains why they often have an attitude.

Sorry, I'm a newbie. But I've seen John Freida Hair products on sale before with the Root Awakenings coupons listed below. So I printed them and went in and they are two completely different products. The Root Awakenings weren't even on sale. So what's the trick here? Why are they listed interchangably? I'm confused.
