I was wondering the sale on the stayfree $2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads, Regular 24ct at $3.89 is that a long month deal for March? Help!!!
  • Pam
I had an awesome trip to CVS today for the first time in my 2 1/2 months or so of "serious" couponing. I did my first transaction with the 2 Right Guards & 1 Aussie Mega hair spray - used (2) $1.50 off Right Guard Q's & (1) $2 off Aussie product Q - total OOP was $3.63 & I got a $2ECB from the Right Guard; $1ECB from the Aussie; & the register printed a $2 off $10 Q.
    For my 2nd transaction I purchased 6 Degree deoderants (4 women's & 2 men's) for $15 - I had a $3 off $15 Q from e-mail, used (3) $3 off 2 Degree deoderants, then used the $2 off Q & $1ECB from my previous transaction for a total OOP of $1.20 - & got another $5ECB.
    Total purchased - 8 deoderants & a can of hair spray for $4.83 OOP & still have the $2ECB & $5ECB, so it's like I made a $2.17 profit! YAY!!!
I finally feel like I am beginning to understand CVSing & I am more addicted than ever to couponing!!!!
  • helenbarnes03
i live in Birmingham, Al my local cvs will take expired q up to 2 weeks out. so they have their purex 3-in-1 bogo and i had an expired q for bogo, so got it for free + tax! :)
  • I'm new to SS...only done it a couple of weeks, and saved right at 50% of my total at Kroger both weeks. But here's the hoorah! I went CVSing and WAGing also today...which I don't normally go in to just shop. I walked into CVS and there at the door was a 50-90% off table and buggy. Get this...from the multiple clearance items and some other items I used coupons on, I bought $189 worth of merchandise for $33!! I got a $15 blow dryer for $1.50, among many other items (all stuff I could use) at 90% off. If I hadn't started SS, I would have never seen the sale! So...HOORAH!
  • Lisa
From the same website as the degree deodeorant coupon they offer a Suave coupon for $3 off 2. My CVS has two packs of Suave deodeorant for $1.99. I know I could have used the coupon on just the one pack but went ahead and bought 2...
  • jessicaan
If this was posted, I didn't see it. CVS in the charlotte area has oralb power toothbrushes for 4.99. I had a $3 man q from the paper (recent). Paid $1.99 for a $9 brush.
  • crazy_days
Thank you so much for taking the time to put all of this together! There is one thing on the list both this week and last that I have not been able to find on the flyers. It is $2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads, Regular 24ct at $3.89 Limit 4. Does anyone know if this is a regional thing or if it is available even if it isn't in the flyer?
  • Suemh
I did this deal twice this week in 2 different stores (different towns). It is a monthly ECB deal and is not listed in the flyers. And the limit is 4.
  • DonnaTN
Thought everyone would like to know if you bought the Princess and the frog Movie you can also get a rebate when you buy 2 packages of success rice products if you didn't want to do the band aid one, you can also go to their website for the form.
  • DonnaTN
I found out there is also another rebate for this movie, wow must be a hot seller!! If you buy painters tape. Some only require photocopies so you won't need another receipt! Great deal on the movie!
  • a_shrader
I got a deal this morning, I think. I bought a Venus Breeze disposable 2 pack which are on sale and recieve $2 bucks back. Plus I had a $2 off coupon off the razon, and a coupon if you buy the Venus Breeze razor you got a free Olay Bodywash. I was worried it wouldn't work with the disposables, but it didn't say I couldn't use it with those. So the manager and I tried it and it went straight thru.

So my razors were reg $6.49, on sale for $4.49 get $2 ECB back and had a $2 off coupon
Olay Body was reg $7.49 free with coupon when you buy the razor.
$13.98 reg price. $2.49 plus tax (used a $3 ECB, so very little OOP) and still had a $2 ECB to boot.
  • Thank you so much for helping me understand how CVS works! I am excited to go for my first time!!!!
  • Mysterious_Mentalist
Hold on to your Gillette Raszor purchase/Q. I think coming week is a better deal if you have the Q. $5 ECB wyb 4-8 ct. cartridge and the razor. So, use buy cartridge and get razor free Q. and get back $5ECB making the cost less than $10 for both-I think. It is better than getting $3 ECB this week for the same scenario
  • Ashley
btw I had a $2 off coupon for Aussie product from one of the inserts. With the sale of $2.99, I got the $2 off and 1 ECB back. So it was FREE.
  • Hesperides
Okay...my first negative CVS experience today... I wanted the B1G1 Purex 3-in-1 sheets and I had a coupon that had printed from Kroger. It says MANUFACTURER'S COUPON at the top and the # starts with a 5 but the cashier said, "I can't take store coupons". I explained politely (as I could with two crazy boys running in circle around me) that it wasn't a store coupon, but she still refused. I asked if I could talk to the manager to ask their policy on the situation and she says, "Ma'am, I already know what he's going to say." What do you think?
  • Mysterious_Mentalist
She treated you like this based on her understanding that the Q. was a store Q. And the managers are not necessarily any better educated or informed than cashiers. If it has printed from the store receipt machines, then it is kinda fishy fishy and I have yet to figure out the legitimacy if it can be used anywhere-They are still manuf Qs and they simply print on "other machines" to reach out to consumer market. With that said, I would like to think that they should be used anywhere-particular store logos are just marketing gimmicks.

I would call the customer svce and see what they say. They are very nice and they would know exactly how these work. Please post here if you find out something concrete from CVS corporate office.
  • Jennifer Meyer
I have a question... today in the parking lot of CVS I found a receipt that had a $4 off a $20 purchase q on it. I did grab it. I had someones name on it. Does anyone know if I can use it? I will try next time I go into the store, but thought I'd ask on here for now. For example, has anyone ever had a family member give them their printed coupons??? If That makes sense...
  • DonnaTN
You can't use it because it has there card number on it and you have to scan your card for your purchases so I don't think it will work. You may not get that $4 off.
  • kelli
I'm pretty sure you can't use it.
  • Carrie
Or you could just ask a manager about it. It might be a regular customer whom they know and would be able to return it to the person. That way you'll feel like a good samaritan. If they don't know the person then they may be able to tell you if you can just use it yourself without any guilt. Those CVS coupons might be tied in to the person's card so you might not be able to use it anyway.
  • Mysterious_Mentalist
On my receipts, Orbit 3-pack gum is counting towards the "Candy Total Purchase for $3 ECB" in my area stores. It will make even a better deal if you still have $1 Off Qs for the 3-pack gum. I will let you know in case ECB does not print after the total purchase.
  • nicole
My red plum insert from Jackson MS had an Aussie Q -$2.00 off and an Herbal Essences Q for $1.00 off.
  • tinaligon
I have a question... I live in Char. NC. I didn't see the stayfree deal 2 ECB wyb reg. stayfree 24 ct. in my ad. Is this only out in certain areas? Or should I just go to the store and see?
  • DonnaTN
I priced checked it and it didn't show any ECB's but I just went ahead and got 2 and I got $4 ECB's back.
  • Suemh
Stayfree is a month long deal and is not in the weekly ads. It was not even tagged in my store. You just have to ask at the store.
  • jennifr1966
Did anyone have luck with the P&G's Covergirl B1G1 coupon? It says B1G1 of FACE, not lip color, and apparently that only means foundation and powder. (Wish it had said that to begin with.)
Also, my SS coupon for Hersheys says $2 off THREE bags. If anybody bought Easter candy, I'd love to know how you did it. Thanks!!
  • Carrie
It seems to vary. Some of the women in the comments above were able to do the deal and some weren't. Evidently, it depends on the store.
  • 3monkeysmom
I have some coupons I need to get rid of. I got them in a home mailer from essentialsforlivingwell(dot)com and I can't use any of them but hate to throw them away. I always feel like I'm throwing actual money away if I throw a coupon in the garbage :-)
    The coupons are:
$1 off any OsCal Calcium Supplement
$1 off any Ecotrin Aspirin Therapy
$1 off any Citrucel with Smartfiber
$1 off any Feosol Iron Supplement
You can also go to essentialsforlivingwell(dot)com and register with them and get more coupons of these same items as well as a few others.
If anyone is interested let me know. They don't expire until May
  • Carrie
Any coupons you don't use or have expired can be donated to a military base. They are allowed to use coupons up to 6 months after the expiration date. This is just one small way we can our military families. Here are a couple to try:

I am sooooo excited....I got the terrific deal on deodorants today BUT I did not see the $2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads. I looked online at CVS and do not see these on sale. Do the sales vary from store to store????
  • Karen32174
It appears CVS ads are regional. I live in Florida and we did not get the $3 ECB wyb $10 in Easter Candy in our ad. But if I went to CVS's site and put in my old zip code of 23320 it showed the $3 ECB ad on I think it was page 3.
  • gery220
Yup that is correct. You will see a few differences, like the Edge ot Skintimate is 2/$4 here in Miami, Florida. But they are minor things and @ least we r gettig the deals before they come out.
  • Want2StayHome
Can you get the ECB's if you pay with ECB's, like if I was to buy the Princess movie, and use a $10 coupon could I pay for the difference in ECBs and still get Bucks back? I'm still very new to this. Thanks for any help.
  • Mamaberry
ABSOLUTELY! That's the best part about CVS. They are very customer friendly, and this is exactly the type of "Rolling" you want to do with your ECB. Pay with ECB for items that print ECB and you will have little to no expenses in a lot of areas. Jenny has some awesome getting started articles. Go to the top of this page and check them out. You will find coupon policies, tips and everything you need to be 'armed'! Happy couponing and WELCOME!
  • Carrie
Yes. The only thing is, as I understand it, you still have to pay tax. So your OOP (out-of-pocket) can't be $0 or negative.
  • debbiblack
My CVS has a price checker that gives coupons when you scan your CVS card. It lets you scan it twice. I got a $4 off $20 coupons and 2 CVS brand coupons.
  • kelli
this isn't really about cvs but I was wondering how many people had gotten their 10 Beauty for All Ages Rebate. My mom and I haven't gotten ours yet and they were mailed almost 2 months ago. If you've gotten it, did you SPEND $30 oop or did you buy $30 worth of products? my oop was very low after coupons and ecbs.
  • courtney_80
i received mine this week! i paid under $0.50 oop after mfc. coupons and the wags B1G1 50% off that actually rang up B1G1 FREE that week. i was really wondering about it since everyone had gotten so much conflicting info, but it arrived without issue.
  • Suemh
I had a great trip to CVS today. I bought:
    6 deodorants
    2 Stayfrees
    2 Glade Sense & Spray
    4 Betty Crocker Warm Delights

    Used $10 ECB's
    2.61 oop (including tax)
    Got back $13 ECB's. Profit of 39¢!
  • twade
I'm not finding the starburst jelly bean coupon. Is there a certain zip code I should use? Thanks!
  • a_shrader
I had received it in a redplum insert.
  • I tried at 2 different stores to use the Cover Girl BOGO coupon for the lip stuff and was denied both places. Since when are lips not part of your face??? weird!
But, I did get 2 Sense & Spray, 2 S&S refills, 2 (4 oz.) candles and 6 Degree deodorant for .51 cents plus tax , so 2.59 OOP.

Jenny, please don't let the ungrateful, complaining people that get on here sometimes get you down!! You do an amazing thing for so many people!! We love you for it and proclaim your name & website everywhere!! We are your own "word of mouth" ad agency!! Who needs Pssst... or Firsttaste??? We've got you and you've got us!
  • wtpooh
Wow what a deal I got at CVS. Thanks SO MUCH for your information. Here is what went down. I was going in for 6 deoderants and 1 Aussie shampoo. I had 2 $3.00 off 2 Qs, 2 $1.50 off 1 Qs for the deoderant and 1 $1.00 off 1 for the Aussie shampoo. The deoderants were 2/$5. Well, they were misplaced. I picked up 2 that were in the 2/$5 deal and the other 4 were $4.97. I didn't catch it until I had already paid and was given my reciept. My total was $17.23. (I had ECB from last week that I paid with plus I still owed the $17.23) Well, when I didn't get my $5 ECB, I checked the reciept and realized I had paid almost $5 for each deoderant. I told the girl I had the wrong stuff and she returned my 4 deoderants and refunded me $23.67. Then I got the correct deoderant and she rang them up, scanned 2 of my $3 coupons and I ended up paying another $6.17. So, for about $0.27, I got 6 deoderants and 1 shampoo. Plus, I ended up with $6 ECB. Now, I'm not sure if that was the correct way for the girl to ring up this transaction. I was so confuse when I left that I wasn't ever sure if I had gotten a deal. After sitting down and figuring it out, I now realize exactly what I got. WOW!
  • Sondra
Jenny, you are a God Send and I thank my Lord for giving you the knowledge, desire and patience to do what you do. You bless sooooo many families each week. I have been signed up for a few months now and do not go shopping before I spend my "couple hours" making my lists and collecting my coupons. I just "thought" I was a good couponer before I found your site. You are amazing!!!!!! Please, please keep doing what God has gifted you to do.

what does it mean when i try to print off the deodorant coupons and it says the campaign is over? Other links say that there aren't any available.
  • Carrie
I think that what is happening is that the company has so many of each coupon that they are willing for people to print (ex: 10,000 - just to throw out a number) and once this limit has been hit then they pull the coupon and say "the campaign is over". That's why, once a coupon becomes available that I know for sure I will use, I go ahead and print the number that I'm allowed. I also do this on the day Jenny comes out with the new weeks coupon/sales match-ups for Publix, CVS & Walgreens. Before I even get my list finialized, if she has a coupon listed that I'm interested in for that week's sale, I go ahead and print it right then.

CVS has Purex detergent BOGO this week. I also have a BOGO manuf. Q. Do you know if you can use the coupon with the deal? If so, would it make it free or what?
Also, I have a $4 off Gillette Fusion cartridges and also a coupon for a free razor when you buy the cartridges. Can you use those together?
    Thanks!
  • Mysterious_Mentalist
The $4 Off Q is for the Gillette Fusion Razor and free razor Q. is alos for the same razor (none is directly for the cartridge). Therefore, normally you can use one or the other on the deal you are looking into. Of course, the free razor Q is of higher value that you definitely wanna use.
  • the only Purex Q that I know of expired about 2 weeks ago. But the 2 Gillette Q's can be used together.

Where I'm from the CVS and Walgreens will not allow you to use the RR or Extra care bucks with a manufactures coupon. They say the ECB or RR is counted as a manufacture coupon so....cant??? So the scenarios won't work for me as far as stacking the transactions...Is anyone else observed this?
  • Mysterious_Mentalist
This is incorrect ! Manufac. Qs have nothing to do what the stores are offering. Moreover, manuf. Qs do not limit the use by saying (on Qs), you cant use it if you are using ECB or RR. Therefore, at least I know the CVS store you mentioned is doing a disservice to CVS itself and needs to be corrected-And you can correct the store by calling the corporate office.
  • SusanStauffer
That is how Walgreens works--they do count as a manufacturer's coupon. Some Walgreens won't let you use a man. coupon with RR, but most do. Try another Walgreens if you can.

But with CVS, that is NOT corporate policy. Do a search on this website; Jenny posted it a while back. If a CVS won't let you use man. coupons with ExtraBucks, print that out and take it in with you, along with the number for CVS corporate. If they refuse, call them. It's not company policy.

The Gillette thing doesnt really work for $9.99. The minimum 4ct razor cartridge is $13.99. The only fusion thing that I saw that was $9.99 was a disposable one with 2 cartridges... I dont know if that works or not, but I am guessing not.
  • Thesuperscotts
what zip code are you using to get the scott paper towel coupons? I can never find it.
    Thank you
  • DonnaTN
Just wanted to say that the boxes of huggies were 18.99 and the wipes were 2/$5 also there is a coupon printing at the price checker for $4 off wyb both.

Certain gillette deodorants are on sale 50% off at my CVS making them $2.49-$2.75, use $3 off gillette deodorant and free gillette body wash when you buy gillette deodorant....makes deodorant and body wash free...great deal!
  • Jen
At my CVS the Degree girl and the Dove included on the $3 off/2 coupon were not on sale for $2.50. They were $4.79
  • sherry30643
My CVS took my $3/2 Dove even though I just got the regular Dove....Coupon didn't beep!
  • Bobbie
I've been scanning the comments and didn't see anyone saying Jenny was stiring them wrong but I use to get an ad in advance for a while at the drug stores until they said people would come in and show them in the ad where they had it on sale. I would tell them I believed I knew better than try to bring in a book that had not even began yet. Also it takes me lots of time to go thru my coupons and my house is almost to the point of throwing up when you open the door. LOL Gotta stay off here a while and get some house work done. Didn't see where Jenny posted about "The Princess and the Frog" dvd coming out tomorrow at CVS with a $3.00 ECB I believe it is, not looking at it right now. I also found a coupon for $5.00 and $10.00 off somewhere. And there is a $5.00 mail in rebate when you purchase two participating Band Aid products. Somewhere? I purchased the Barbie bandaids at Wags that were marked down to $2.29 and used the Wags Children's activity book to take off a total of $4.00 on the two. Sorry for the rambling. Maybe it will help someone.

Why am I having a hard time finding the Starburst coupon? I can't find it at the website nor in the RP booklet. Can someone give me a heads-up of what it's near?

Does anyone know if this is a valid deal this week:

$2 ECB wyb Stayfree Pads, Regular 24ct at $3.89 Limit 4
    B1G1 Stayfree Pads RP 1/03
    -$1 off Stayfree printable
    **Deal Idea**
    Buy: (4) Stayfree Pads $3.89
    Use: (2) B1G1 Stayfree RP 1/3
    (2) -$1 off Stayfree printable
    Total Due: $5.78

I looked in the store last week b/c it was posted here, but there was not a sale in the store that I went to. Just checking to see if it was for this week.

    Thanks!
  • Suemh
I bought 2 Stayfrees today, used $1 off & B1G1 and got $4 ECB's/. It was not tagged on the shelf. I was planning to buy 4 but they only had 3 so I saved my other coupon.
  • foxymama2
My first CVS experience didn't go so well...I bought 2 Cover Girl lip products on sale at $8.00 each, used B1G1 and $2.50 off two, with each product saying it would give me $3 ECB back. CAshier wouldn't accept the $2.50 off (since I got one "free") and also only granted me 3 ECB instead of 6, again because of the "freebie". When I got home and checked my receipt, I found that one of the products rang up for $8.99 instead of $8.00 as posted for the sale! Jeez! Was this wrong on her part & should I go try to correct it? I am new to CVS-ing!
  • Sarah
The cashier was correct in that you could not use both coupons. The B1G1 attaches to 1 product - so you could have used the $1 off any Cover Girl product that was in the same insert for the other product, but not the $2.50/2 b/c the other product already had a coupon attached to it. Does that make sense? You would have gotten the $3 ECB's each automatically - regardless of whether you were getting one "free", but it sounds like the $8.99 product was not part of the deal. I read below from Pennydealchick that she had the same problem and that the only products producing an ECB were the ones ringing up $8. HTH

My CVS just told me that they stopped doing monthly deals around Christmas time. Anyone know if this is just regional or if the deals end up being "unadvertised" around here but still good? I'm in the Atlanta area.
  • ireneY
The Stayfree is a monthly deal that worked for me in ATL. Give it a try!

I just got back from CVS with nothing in hand. The Degree deodorant is ringing up as $2.40 instead of 2.50. I did not bring any extra coupons with me because I would have to buy another one to make the 15 dollars.

SAVE $1.50 on NEW Right Guard® Total Defense™ shows up on print.com
is there another address that you can use to get the $2/2 coupon?
  • Melissa
on coupons.com there is a 1.50 of Right Guard now so with ECBs it makes 2 of them free this week.
  • sheba18
Does anyone know if the 8 oz Hershey candy on the front of the flyer can be used to towards the ECB deal or is it just the ones on page 3? I don't see why not but I don't want to depend on it and get caught unprepared to switch things up.
  • Suemh
I think that any candy must count. I bought 2 99¢ Gold Emblem candies last week because I had some ECB's about to expire and I had a coupon for $1 off 2. Later I noticed that at the bottom of my receipt it said that I had purchased $1.98 toward that reward.

Can someone help me with how this works. If I use the B1G1 then I use it on the product bought and the other is free. The $1 Stayfree printable would apply to the free product? My CVS in the past would say I could not use two manufacture coupons for the same product?

    **Deal Idea**
    Buy: (4) Stayfree Pads $3.89
    Use: (2) B1G1 Stayfree RP 1/3
    (2) -$1 off Stayfree printable
    Total Due: $5.78
  • Suemh
The B1G1 applies to the free one. The $1 applies to the one you pay for.
