  • SC = Store Coupon
  • MC = Manufacturer Coupon
  • SS = Smart Source
  • RP = Red Plum

Coupon Terms
  • WYB = When You Buy
  • B1G1 = Buy One Get One Free
  • .75/1 = 75 cents off one item
  • .75/3 = 75 cents off three items

Friday Finals 3/26

We’ve been away all week so no shopping, yet.  I am ready though for a big Saturday night.  My list is printed and I’m cutting the coupons needed as we drive home tomorrow.  The plan is to hit the last bit of the Kroger March to Savings sale, CVS and Publix.

You might want to check in Sunday after lunch.  I won’t post the final numbers but I will post a picture and something fun.

    At Publix today I used the $3 off printable Huggies coupon and $3 store coupon in the in store flyer, also got the Huggies wipes $1.50 in store and a $.75 off printable coupon and they have a deal now if you spend $35 on Huggies diaper or wipes or Pull-Ups you get a rebate for a $10 publix gift card. I ended up paying $36 and will get a $10 giftcard. The rebate is in the store flyer right inside the door!

    This question is for the woman that posted at #30 with the huge amount of savings at Wal-Mart. How did you get ALL of those coupons for the Old Spice body wash? Something doesn't seem right with that…just saying.

      they were probably bought or traded for. I just wish that my walmart would give that much overage on coupons. I'm lucky if I get a few cents in overage.

      I was wondering the same thing. Wonder if maybe it has to do with the fact that she works at Wal-Mart. Wow, if we all were able to shop like that! Thanks for sharing.

      Everything I did was above the table and legal. I ordered the Qs off eBay, as I always do when I can get a really great deal. Usually I only ordered about 20 of a coupon, but since I was getting overage I ordered 80.

      My Walmart is iffy on overage. Depends on which cashiers you use. They get reimbursed 100% for the coupon, so they should give you 100% of the coupon but sometimes it doesn't happen that way.

    I had an awesome week at Publix, before coupons and sales my totals were $397.73 after sales and coupons $46.04 it was absolutely awesome.

    I've still got a little bit more shopping to do tomorrow… how is it already the end of the week? I really don't know where this week went. So far so good though. :)

    I started off the week returning 2 razors that I had bought to send in for rebates. I had read the rebate wrong and didn't send them in on time. So, I got $22.03 back to my credit card.

    CVS
    total before sales/coupons: $62.75
    total oop: $2.28 but this was on a money card from last week, so really $0
    total saved: $60.47 or 96% but really $62.75 or 100% because of the money card
    I also have another money card from this week for $4.61 from buying the wrong toothpaste

    Rite Aid
    total before sales/coupons: $37.15
    total oop: $3.34 – $2 SCR = $1.34
    total saved: $35.81 or 96%

    Kroger
    total before sales/coupons: $140.03
    total oop: $11.08
    total saved: $128.95 or 92%

    Food Lion
    total before sales/coupons: $68.79
    total oop: $16.33
    total saved: $52.56 or 76%

    Weekly total
    total before sales/coupons: $308.72
    total oop: $28.75
    total saved: $279.97 or 90%

    (it seems like my math might be wrong but I'm too tired to figure it out right now, this is close enough)

    Love this site. Thanks to #93 I scored a great deal on the Toy Story movies. Target was sold out so I rushed across town to Toys R Us. Got there 10 min b4 closing. The combo pks were 16.99 ea wyb both, used a $5 off $25 I got in the mail TODAY, and the $10 mfr Q’s. I saved $31 and got 2 free movie tickets. AWESOME deal.

      Total price for both was $11.01 with tax. It costs almost that much to rent them at Blockbuster.
