Thanks for the response. I understand that they need you to qualify and stuff. The frustrating thing to me is that I will take the screener and it will say I qualify, then halfway into the survey it will say that they have filled their numbers for this survey. One day, this happened 2-3 times in a row and I never did actually get to finish a survey. There were several screenings that I didn't qualify for but then even the ones I did qualify for I was booted out in the middle of the survey.

Hi leigh57 – It's very common to give them lots of information. This is how they will match you with the surveys.
I'm not sure which company your speaking of but usually if you log into your account you'll see your points there.

When I tried some time ago to do surveys, it ended up taking such a very long time to sign up with very personal information. Then it would send surveys saying they were worth points. I did a couple, but I did not know where the points went and I ended up very confused. I would definitely do what you are doing. I was a bit concerned after filling out that really personal one for the company. Is that common? Just curious to see what I ended up signing up for.

HI April, Those aren't real survey sites. That's not what any of the ones I've recommended are about. These are sites that will ask you for your opinion. You will not be offered anything to purchase, click on etc. Just opinions! Hope That Helps!!

juliemars – I've received payment from Survey Savvy many times. Did you actually talk to anyone (via email)?? That seems odd because I have been paid by them. You might want to look into it, something may have gone wrong.

Hope – yes I get a lot from Survey Spot each day too and most are for entries or instant win but they aren't too long and I do take them because I know they will send me paying ones too. I've received many paying ones from Survey Spot.

christinelowther – My Survey seems to come in spurts but you will get more surveys from them. I've had dry spells too and then a bunch at once. That's why I like to belong to more than one survey site so that I always have surveys coming.
You did nothing wrong. Just make sure you profile stays up to date.

AKLLHOL & Angela. I don't believe that Signature Surveys or Get Paid To try work on a point system like Inbox and Reward Port. I believe those are the kinds of sites where you get points or money to try things, or to buy things. They are not real survey sites, nothing like what I'm taking about.

I do know that Inbox Dollars and Reward Port do give you credit for reading the emails and it sure can add up fast if you click them all, but to me that's really the only good thing about them.

crystalbrothers - unfortunately it's very common for most survey sites. Sometimes it can be as simple as they've already received enough responses from someone your age, where you might of qualified earlier. It's so hard to tell. I do know that ACOP is one site that will send you the screener first. It will clearly state that this is for an upcoming survey. These are usually short. Then if you do fit the survey requirements you'll receive the link to take the survey a few days or so later. Then you know you will qualify. I love that they do that, but not all sites do. Try that out if you'd like.

Same happend with me…but survey spot has been sending me 4+ emails a day. Most are not paid though. I am enjoying trying this new arena to make a few extra bucks.

Just a word of warning….over a year ago I finally had taken $10 worth of surveys from survey savvy and requested a check, never received a check, requested again, nothing….all that time wasted….

I'm not sure about Signature Surveys or Get Paid to Try. However, I LOVE Reward Port! Reward Port and Inbox Dollars are a lot alike. The emails you received are paid emails. I can get anywhere from 3-5 emails a day from Reward Port. All you do is click the link to credit your account with points (it's a points system for Reward Port and a $ system with Inbox Dollars). You get from 3-5 points per email that you click on. It doesn't sound like much but it really adds up. I never even pay attention to what the emails are about. I just click the link, let the page for the link come up, and then X out of it. With Reward Port, you can turn your points into gift cards. With Inbox Dollars you can request and check. Each email is $.02 (it really does add up) and you get $5 bonus for signing up.

I signed up on My survey about three weeks ago and the night I signed up it allowed me to do 4 surveys. Since then I have not been asked do another one? I thought they would be available more often or did I do something wrong?? Thanks

Hi! I was just wandering if these “survey” sites actually offer a survey because it seems that all I ever get is the opportunity to give out my credit card number to net flix (for a 14 day trial), or sign up for insurance information, a chance to win 1,000.00 gift card to Wal Mart (but they want you to buy magazines with your required credit card number), or something of that sort. NEVER have I actually gotten a survey that didn't require my card number FIRST. Now to me, if you are supposed to get paid for a survey that doesn't mean I should pay YOU first. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

Are there any sites with surveys that you are guaranteed the opportunity to take? I have tried out a couple of these sites before and each time I'll be 5-10 minutes into a survey that is supposed to take 15-20 minutes and I'll get a pop up stating that they have met their numbers for this survey and no longer need mine. Because of this I have given up the whole survey thing because I don't have an extra 5-10 minutes to waste just for them to tell me that my survey will no longer count. I tried out several surveys at each site and it just kept happening. Do you have any advice about this? Any sites that won't do this?

One bad thing on saynation's introductory survey – they force you to somewhat “lie” on their first quiz because you have to answer a question that may not apply to you if you rent… despite the question before it asking you if you own or rent. It asks “if you were to sell your home today how much do you think it is worth?” I had to put under 50K as that would be the most accurate for not having a home to sell… I guess.
