      mmm…while away at a conference for work I visited a local grocery for something for breakfast other than heavy pastries. I picked up Stoneyfield organic fat free vanilla yogurt, Bare Naked chocolate granola…and fresh strawberries. This is now my go to 'feel better' treat. I've requested that my local grocer carry them all!

      Wow, where do I start with favorite organic food. We love Wallaby yogurt! YUMMY! Eggland's Organic eggs, Whole Foods organic milks. My chemically sensitive 5 year old prefers the tast of organic to non organic. I think that's very interesting. We've also recently started eating gluten free so many of our products are bought at Whole Foods. There aren't too many coupons available for organic AND gluten free stuff. :)

      we have been making the switch to my house to all organic and it hasnt been easy on me or our piggy bank!! my 14 month old son has been diagnosed with multiple food allergies and since he is still nursing we have had to revamp our diets for both of us to avoid anything with peanuts or made in a facility with nuts. we have been enjoying the muir glen tomatoes that we got at publix 2 weeks ago really cheap (thanks to you!!) and even though he is “allergic” to milk by his blood work his allergist said yogurt and cheese is okay to keep in his diet and that is a good thing because he is constantly signing and saying cheese and he LOVES his yobaby yogurt!! thank you for all you do for us!

      You can't go wrong with anything from the 365 line at Whole Foods. I love the Muir Glen organic salsas – they were on closeout at my Food Lion for $1.10 a jar so I stocked up on them, as well as the Muir Glen diced tomatoes that were on clearance…40 cents a jar so I have a whole pantry full! My kids love the Milk Breakerz from Horizon – my son enjoys having them in his lunch but says they taste funny if I keep them in the fridge. Imagine that…liking room temperature milk!

      We are some organic yogurt-eating fools in my house! My kids (5 years and 2 years) love yogurt. I feel like its a good way to give their bodies some good bacteria, and I can give it to them as a snack before dinner. It keeps them from starving, but it doesn't feel them up so much that they won't eat. My 2 year old recently underwent chemotherapy and it caused a lot of stomach problems. Yogurt was the only thing she could stomach, and because of the chemo she needed organic. This is how our organic yogurt addiction began . We started with Yobaby then went to Dannon all Natural and Stonyfieldand. Now we are all hooked!

      I admit I have not tried a lot of organics due to price. However, I just went today to hear a pediatrician speak about foods and related child behaviors. It was amazing and she stressed the importance of organic foods and staying away from Red dyes in foods.       My organic favorite would be Kashi. Years ago a friend introduced me to the Kashi TLC (tasty little crackers). I love, love, love the cheese crackers. At first I didn't know where to buy them at so I actually ordered them online a few times before I started seeing them in stores… I was so excited! Since then I've started buying all kinds of Kashi and I've even got my husband–Who doesn't really understand organic, nor does he care to– turned onto Kashi…before I go to the store he'll say make sure to get “those healthy crackers”.

      My daughter (3 yrs old) LOVES Annies Bunnies! She has had them since she was eating solids. People ask her if she wants goldfish and she looks at them like “What?” She just asks for bunnies and tells me what flavor. She asks for them as soon as she gets up EVERY morning!!!
      She also LOVES Stoney field yogurt. She will go into the frig (usually at bedtime) and get her own yo-yo, open it, get her spoon and be eating before you even realize what she is doing! It's great!

      Kashi is made with Hard Red Winter Wheat – so much better for us than the usual bleached and stripped flour! And many of their products are dairy free, which is HIGHLY important to my child with a deathly allergy to dairy!

They are quite pricey though….We also eat the Kashi bars and cereals and I try to find coupons for these items as well.
