ok let me see if I can help. I think this is what you mean. When you are shopping at Walgreens and you are buying lets say 3 items and you have 3 coupons and one RR so that actually that means you have 4 coupond because the RR counts as a coupon then you must purchase another item (this is what Jenny calls a filler item) at Wags you have to have one item for each coupon and a RR counts as a coupon. I hope this helps.

Filler items are used if you would have a negative balance, since the store is not going to give you cash back. For example if you had $10 worth of items and $11 worth of coupons, you'd want to get a "filler item" worth a little over a dollar so you'd only pay a few cents for everything.

That is almost exactly what I said to her! I just didnt see how that was possible! She said that is why people get the "filler" items. I thought the filler items were so the store would not "owe" the customer money. Is this correct?

You can only use q-tip coupons for q-tip products. If you buy 3 q-tip items, you can use 3 coupons. The manufacturer would never reimburse the store for items that are not theirs (ie, you buy a 12-pack of Pepsi and try to use a q-tip coupon). Hope this helps.

I went to the Food Lion on Sycamore Ave in Charleston, SC and the Pampers Diapers, jumbo pack was $8.99 not $6.99. Do the prices vary by store?

My daughter and I were clipping coupons the other night. She told me this (and I think she's nuts) ... say I'm buying 3 boxes of q-tips and I have 10 coupons for q-tips. I then buy 7 other random products, she said I could use the remaining 7 coupons on the other random items I bought. She said that you can use as many coupons as you have items, as long as you bought at least one product that corresponds to the coupon(s) you are using. Is this right? It just doesnt seem like it. Maybe Im couponing all wrong...yes Im a newbie.

Went to your class in Greenville today Saturday and thought your presentation was great.
My daughter has been a fan for a quite a while. She not only signed me up but she paid for it. You were informative, insightful and entertaining. Thanks for doing what you do and sharing it with others. I had 4 children in 5 1/2 years and salute your discipline at this point in your life.

Every best wish,
Victoria Greer

I just went to the Food Lion in Newnan and they have the London Broil for $1.88/lb AND they have already ground some up in packages near the hamburger meat! If your store doesn't have any ground, take a package of the London Broil to the butcher counter and they will grind it into ground hamburger. That's some cheap meat!!!
