i think when you are a fan of nabisco on fb, the first ? amount of people can get a coupon on the first of every month. i think the coupons will be for free cookies wyb another package plus a gallon of milk. not great, and it expired quickly (today), but it made for a good deal with the snackwells. i ended up with free publix cookies and oreos after i bought milk and snackwells. fun treat!

My Publix usually has some shelves set up front (near the deli) that have the promotion displayed and both the store and name brand items all there together. I only noticed it recently, they don't do much to promote it. But it's legit.

FYI – The Quaker QUAKES are now called TRUE DELIGHTS. The new packaging has both names printed on the package. There was a .75/1 coupon in the 2-14 RP insert (coupon shows picture of both packaging in case your store gives you a hard time!!). Same coupon was also found inside some recently purchased boxes of Quaker instant oatmeal (I dug mine out thanks to another Southern Savers reader's comment!).

A couple of the “Buy theirs” items (hummus & rice cakes) were on sale at my Publix (Atlanta area) – I made a note of the prices in case anyone was wondering…
If you think about it as a B1G1 sale, you are still getting 2 for the price of one – the coupons are icing on the cake! :)

Did you speak to a manager? Last week, I went in to get the coffee deal and I asked the Grocery Manager (who is new, by the way) about it. He said the store didn't get the signage for some reason, but the items were ringing up correctly at check out. The cashier wasn't aware of the promo but the register prompted her when she scanned the Publix coffee. The register asked her to either manually enter the $5.99 for the Publix coffee or void the $5.99 amount making it FREE.
Sidebar: The new grocery manager was SO nice and seems to be aware of the coupon world. He knows that lots of people shop at the Goose Creek store (which is smaller than all the others in the area) because the other stores aren't as coupon friendly.

The Hixson TN Publix has there display on the corner of the front display as you are walking to the bakery. I do not have the coupons for this so I can't decide if I should partake this time around.

Publix in Columbia, SC (Rosewood Drive) does not have this. The Customer Service Manager knew nothing about it.
