Sometimes the rainchecks are better. For example, I got a raincheck for Hostess Donuts (one of those things I NEED when they are on sale, not just want – but that's beside the point) when they were BOGO. Since they rarely have coupons, I don't have to worry about any coupons expiring. So now, I'm just waiting until they go on a regular sale and then use my BOGO raincheck to get them cheaper than if I had gotten them the week they were truely BOGO to begin with. So, rainchecks can be a good thing.

You mean there's actually a benefit to living here in Florida? I've been feeling shortchanged since we don't get our coupons doubled and we have to purchase two items for BOGO instead of getting half-price for one item. Glad to know there is an up side.

Jenny, IMO – This is YOUR site you can do what you want. You don't have to have to option to even let people comment to begin with. So you certainly have the authority to take down EVERYTHING if you so desire. Again, IMO – anything that is not directly related to deals, links, alerts, great finds could go away and I wouldn't miss it. Rather it would save me time scrolling and weeding out a lot of “discussion”. YOU ROCK and thanks for doing what you do!

Christina, Sorry to hear your frustration… It may be helpful to know that stores have up to 6 months from the expiration date to redeem them. Several stores will allow you to use them passed the exp. Even if it's not written on your rain check. Just pop by the CS desk before you shop and butter them up. It works the majority of the time, because they get reimbursed even months after the exp. (though it should be noted that most stores won't go months out – a week or two is not unheard of.) hth

Have a couple of questions. 1) there was a coupon from Publix for BOGO Neosporin Lip Health and then a coupon in the paper for $1.00 off one. Has anyone done this deal and is it cheap? (My Publix is not that close) 2) The BOGO Publix coupon for Frusion Fruit Smoothie stacked with the paper coupon for 3) Won the Party at Your House Digiorno they sent $4 coupons for the pizza and bread sticks combo pack. Has anyone seen these and do you know if they are part of the Funny In Ad Publix deal this week? $4 off could make it an even sweeter deal.

Typically it should, but if you're referring to the BOGO coupon that I think you are, it is for the 8 oz and the BOGO sale is for the 16 oz, so it wouldn't work.

Our local food bank takes vitamins/OTC medicines, make-up, diapers, toiletries, etc. I have been told that if they can't use them then they find someone who can. For example: the local women's shelter would have need for toiletries, make-up and diapers among other things. I have also been told that whatever I feel like donating, they will make sure it gets to someone who needs it.

Just had a great trip to Publix – even on the last day of the sale, still found most of what I needed, with rainchecks for those that were out. However, I FORGOT to have them use my sale ad for the -$3 for the milk, GM Cereal and Nature Valley item. Any one know if I can take the receipt back and have them adjust it? I actually thought it would auto deduct, but didn't realize I had to treat it like a real coupon. My loss I guess. Anyway, it was a fabo trip – paid $71 and saved $76!

I have the same problem that you do with the space. I do NOT have space for 20 boxes of cereal or 40 bags of veggies! Nor do I have extra space (or extra money) for another freezer. My mother buys items in bulk and has groceries all over the house. I refuse to allow my house to turn into a pantry! Ideas would be great, but I still don't think I'll ever be able to buy so much of a particular item, I don't care how cheap it is. They (or a VERY similar item) will be on sale again in just a few weeks.

Just wanted to say “Thank You!” for giving me the best deal possible. Feeding a family of 6 can be expensive.

I just found this website a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking….

I finally put together my list along with coupons and did my Publix shopping today. I brought most of the items listed above and was able to save $104.47, spent $54.45 (w/tax). What a deal! Thank you so much.

I just don't see your point here. I am not selling anything, but what if later on I want to do it? Who can tell me what to do what my property?

My question is this, let's say you buy a body wash with cash, and you pay $5.99. Would it be OK to sell it to ...?
Now, let's say you buy the same body wash, at $5.99, you pay with coupons; the store is getting the money, in fact they get $0.08 more that if you paid with cash; the body wash is yours, who can tell you what to do or not to do with it?

It's yours to use, to give away, to throw away, to sell, to put in your closet and forget about it for 5 years.

Have you thought about lots of people who don't have a job, and they are eating because of coupons? What if they got 5 shampoos, and they only need 2?
Let them sell those other 3 and use that money for gas.

Again, you are not "cheating the store", they get all their money, if they didn't they wouldn't be accepting coupons.

The way you see things, no one would be allowed to have a garage sale, unless they were sure they had paid full retail price for each item.

I don't really think it works like that.
