Amazon is offering many Jane Austen downloadable books FREE! Pick any or all the books you want.

Remember you don’t need an actual Kindle, you can also download for your PC, iphone, or blackberry.

    There were much more than just Jane Austin books that were free. There are many other classics for free, plus more. Go to books for Kindle and sort by price from low to high. It will show all the free ones you can download.

      How did you find the other free books? I tried to sort all the books in the kindle store by price: low to high and didn't find the free books, not even the Jane Austin ones. I did find Jane Austin through the link provided here, however. Strange!

        Hmmm, thats strange. I just went to the Kiddle store and sorted them again and it still worked. There were several free books. Did you make sure you were signed in to Amazon?

    Most of that stuff is in the public domain and available through project gutenberg and google books in adobe and other ebook formats that you can download on a laptop, a sony reader, nook, etc.
