Discovered today that the missing coupons are a computer glitch. Did the same on my order, my mom's and my grandmother's order today. I know the coupons scanned and doubled… but then disappeared when totalled. They said they had no idea what was going on, but made it right for me at the comstomer service desk after a long wait. This glitch is HARD to catch unless you know EXACTLY what the total should be. :-(

I shop at the Biltmore Square Kmart. Went 4 times this week. The first 3 were PERFECT. But today's was a different story. My mom and grandmother were there shopping too, and had problems. Come to find out, the computers are doing CRAZY things and it isn't the cashiers. I watched my cashier carefully scan every coupon AND they showed up on the screen… however they were not on the receipt and were not in the total. I talked to the cashier and customer service. That's when I found out they were totally stumped by what was going on. It was on different kinds of coupons (internet AND newspaper coupons.) The manager finally gave us gift cards to fix it once they realized that it wasn't a policy issue but a computer issue. (One customer service lady did try to tell me that they do not double anything that will be more than $2 off total. I asked to see the policy in writing and she saw her mistake.) I kindly asked for the manager. Sorry your experience was not as friendly. :-(

every time i go to k-mart, it seems like something goes wrong. Item rang up incorrectly, & the cashier did not double one of my coupons, sigh…..

I have had a great week at K-Mart in Waynesville, NC. Just wish they would restock before the week is over. Tried the K-Mart over by Biltmore Square Mall and it was horrible! Apparently rules vary from store to store? First thing when I presented my coupons, the cashier runs to customer service to get the print out of rules for me to read. Computer would not double, cashier kept coming up with different reasons why, all the while the line backing up. Then he rudely tells everyone behind me something along the lines of-It's gonna be a while folks, it's gonna be a while. I'm sorry, but this customer has the line held up! Needless to say, I left my purchases sitting and came back to Waynesville to shop.

I LOVE K-Mart super doubles!! I don't usually shop at K-Mart, but it's been so easy this week and everyone has been so kind (and a little shocked at all the great deals I got). Here is what I got for $5.22 out of pocket:

KMART is CRAZY!!!! They will not take a manufacter Q if it is printed out at Krogers even though it is manufacter! Next, It is fine for them not to give you a Overage but, atleast they could not be rude when the item comes up FREE! I mean why do you come up with a event Doubles up to $2.00 and turn around and act mean about it!!!! KMART is SO NOT WORTH THE HASSEL!!! I did get some free items the 1st time, Then when I went back it was a total MESS!!!!

Had to call the K-mart customer service 1-800 number to find out that there is a paper rebate form in the store…..arrrrgh

I just called the customer service number for the rebate (which is different than what is on the rebate form – 888# instead of 866#). I spoke to Courtney, and she said the purchase amount that counts toward the $25 is before tax and before coupons are deducted. So…if you buy an item that costs $5 and you have a $2 in coupons to use against it, you get credit for $5.

I was there yesterday and I bought 7 items, used 5 “doubled” coupons and 2 BOGO coupons. I actually saw the guy putting in my BOGO coupons, but my total seemed high. When I left I looked at my receipt and found out that one of the BOGO coupons did not show up at all. That means I paid over $3 for a toothbrush!!!!! I'm going back today to either get my money back or to return the toothbrush. I will not pay that much for a toothbrush! Since I obviously don't have the coupon anymore to show them, I hope they will believe me. It's there somewhere because I saw him put it in his drawer. Oh well. Back to Kmart I go!

I will tell you how ridiculous it is…I drove 20 miles to get this deal. I went through the time time to figure my overage and get fill in items. I get to the register and ended up have to have them void off my items that were fill ins, which was an act of congress. It took about ten minutes with my line backed up, which was the only line open. I am thankful for anything I get free, but Kmart seems to change the rules as they go. Today I went in and had my 5 items and my coupons ready to go…I get to the register and I was informed that they will only double up to $1.99 not $2.00 (Their ad says up to $2.00). I was in a hurry and once more had to have them void my transactions, another 10 minutes process, so I didn't wait to talk to the manager. Instead, I called when I got home and they said they were only doubling up to $1.00. I told them I thought they were doubling up to $2.00 like the ad states and I was told oh yeah it does say that. So I said I will get to double up to $2.00 is that right and she said that is what the ad says. So I wrote down her name to take with me tomorrow. I am an honest person and I thought you should know the whole story before you rush to judge me.

Had the EXACT same problem. Sunday ip q's worked fine, Monday not accepting. Tuesday used Sunday insert ones fine, today they weren't going to accept them because some of the items would be free. Their system automatically reduced the doubling amount so there wouldn't be any overage but the manager was not even going to allow me to use it because she said she would lose money. When I asked her where in the ad it states the coupon had to be for LESS than the cost she huffed off and said, “Fine, take them this time but I am calling corporate to put a stop to this mess”. I guess she never took the class on customer service!

I am so mad–just came back from my Kmart. No problem using internet-printed coupons YESTERDAY. And today, i was told the store manager said they aren’t allowing them as of yesterday. Well, no signs were posted, etc. My friend in the NEXT LINE OVER was able to use hers with no problem! I went to the customer service desk and was told they only allow the SmartScan coupons from the internet. Well, i corrected her and said it’s SMARTSOURCE. She was extremely rude. I went home and looked up the kmart customer service number and come to find out the coupons i was attempting to use is on the KMART WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!! I sent them a nice, long email telling them this is such a contradiction!

Today!

10 cans of Mighty Dog Dogfood – $3/5
2 Tums 96 ct. – (2) $2/1
24 ct. Stayfree Pads – $2/1
Visine Allergy Relief – $2/1

Making all of this a grand total of .60 which was pretty much only tax. I did ring up the dogfood in a seperate transaction which = .18 and the rest of the things in one transaction = .48!!

I went to the K-Mart today in Tullahoma, TN. They had febreze air effects on sale 2/$5. I had 2 $1 q's… which both doubled… I only paid $0.50 each for the air effects spray. You do not have to purchase 2 to get the sale price!! :)

Kmart in Calhoun, Ga is not doubling even though they advertise they are. You will only get it doubled up to the amount to make it free. You will not get credited overage amount towards anything else you buy…therefore they are not truly doubling your coupon. Just FYI! Frustrated!! :(

Do you have the address??? I bought over $25 worth of products (razors), and the lady said it didn't print off the rebate because I had not purchased $25 after coupons? I would LOVE to do the rebate if you still have the address/information?
