Publix Allergy Coupons

It’s spring and everything is starting to bloom. If you are like us, your car and sidewalks are covered in yellow pollen. YUCK! Luckily Publix is helping us save on allergy meds this year! Look for this coupon display near your Publix Pharmacy to save big:

allergy$5 off Publix Cetirizine Tablets 10 mg 30 ct. (compare to Zyrtec) $14.99 (makes it $9.99 ea)
Update: This is back to regular price. Apparently the sale for $9.99 was last week.

$3 off Publix Allergy Relief Loratadine Tablets 10mg 30 ct. (compare to Claritin) B1G1 at $14.99 (makes it $4.49 ea)

$1 off Publix Allergy Tablets 24 ct. (compare to Benedryl)

These are Publix coupons with an expiration of 4/30/10 so we have all month to wait for a sale on the Publix Benedryl.

      I wonder if the ceterizine sale is regional, because here in Nashville it's $14.99. It's not even listed on sale in our weekly ad.

        Its not listed in my weekly ad in Columbia, SC either, but there was a tag saying $9.99 in front of it in the store!

          Thanks Amy! Even though the tag still says $14.99 here, I think I'll have someone scan it and see what it rings up.

      Wow! $4.99 for the Publix brand Zyrtec!!! I think I will just buy there instead of doing the Allergy Rewards at Rite-Aid. A lot less complicated :-)

      It is a No go on the Publix brand Citirizine (Generic for Zyrtec).I so was wishing they were wrong and the ad was right but nope, couldn't find it anywhere. $14.99 is the price and that to me is a little high even at $9.99 after the coupon is a bit high.

      Spoke with GM at local Publix (charleston) and he seems to think that the coupon booklet is directed to small regional promo–not in SC.

            here's a tip that might work, print the picture above off and carry it in with you to Publix
            That's what I did and the manager checked to see if the codes were legit in her machine. The only problem is when it prints it's blurry so it took a second for her to squint and get the correct LU numbers off of the print off. She let me take the code to the register just like that. :)

      Costco has the generic version of Zyrtec at about $14 for 365 pills. This is a years worth for me! Best deal I have found. If it is not in your store, you may find online.

      Last week I made a quick run to Publix in Newnan, the flyer at the front of the store had a $2 coupon for several items including Alka Seltzer, the coupon did NOT exclude trial size; I preferred the trial size for traveling, the Alka Seltzer was $1.49, this should have made this item a $.51 money maker that I intended to roll over into another item; the cashier was apparently aggravated and she pulled the coupon back out stating I could not buy the trial size, as she was reading the coupon I stated that the coupon did not exclude trial size, she was obviously annoyed and only gave credit for $1.49, because, it still made the item free, I decided not to argue with the cashier. This not the Publix that I normally shop at, however, I was just wondering if you have ever encountered this situation before.
