I bought 3 newspapers. I checked to make sure each paper had the correct inserts.
Call Greenville News they will mail you the missing inserts.

My mother-in-law has leukemia and had her colon removed 2 years ago. She receives blood on a regular basis. My father-in-law has cancer. My husband has been having all kind of tests run in the last 2 years trying to find out why he has memory loss, slurred talking, blackouts and other medical problems. He has been unable to work or get on disability during this time so there is no income there. I also have medical problems and am on medication. We do have insurance but the doctor visits and 150 combined piils we take a week costs quite a bit. We have 2 grown grandchildren who need help because of the lack of work they get. My check is our only income so coupons are a must. If there are only 2 boxes of cheerios on the shelf and we eat 3 boxes a week then I am going to grab them. This is not for profit, this is how I manage to feed us.

The 72 count wipes are the new thick care and the ones that come in the green tubs. the sensitive ones are 60 count, i think.

This is why I stopped buying the Birmingham and Gadsden papers. I always go for the Huntsville Times. They usually have the better coupons anyways.

I didn't receive any of the pg or smart source coupon magazines in and around Yorktown/ Newport News/ Hampton, VA? What would you guys do about this? I need help because I actually do need these coupons.

I appreciate your offer of help. One of the things about my daughter's cancer is how isolating it is. I've fallen out of contact with many of my friends and church congregations, or I would ask for more help. It always seemed to me that I should try to take care of our needs myself, rather than burden anyone else. Thanks for showing me that there are still those around willing to help others.

Actually, Sarah, I have the right to feel any way I want to about it. I have a different world view than you do because I don't believe in every man for himself. I didn't believe it before my daughter got cancer and I don't believe it now. Someday something catastrophic will happen in your life and you may wish that you looked out for your fellow man more, so that someone would look out for you in your time of need.

I will send out a prayer for your baby…and I do agree with you…I personally know people who clean out the shelves, stockpile, and then sell it online or have people come to their basements or store rooms and “shop”. While there is no “rule” on how to use coupons or ethical practice, I do believe in the reaping and sowing principle. What goes around comes around. I don't think manufacturers' designed coupons to be manipulated and then the product sold elsewhere for cheap. I know this isn't right, because there is no sales tax being generated or income claimed when people buy from other people. All of those things are needed to keep the economy and country's finances moving. So that is wrong. A manufacturer provides a coupon so “we” the consumer will will use this incentive to try their product. IF WE ALL ARE GENEROUS, AND THINK OF OTHERS FIRST, THERE WILL BE PLENTY TO GO AROUND, however, most of the time it's a me first attitude. I wish you blessings and healing for your family, and I can totally know what you are talking about.

I think it has more to do with the person who goes in and buys 15 bottles of body wash at one time. Yes, you can approach it as every man for himself, but others view life and humanity as more of a community – in other words, it would be nice if people would only take what they need and be considerate of others. No, we don't know every other person's situation, but some seem to just buy to get a “coupon high”.

For many of us, couponing is a way to strecth our money. I have and do shop for others, so I would suggest you find a friend who is a couponer who will pick up deals for you. As for cleaning out a shelf, someone has to get the last item on the shelf, right? Most stores (including publix–at least in my area) limit the amount you can purchase per trip. I make several trips for good deals. Walgreens will print out only one reward per transaction, so I make multiple trips for their deals as well. I had a store manager tell me he loves coupons because the store gets all the monies back from the issuer, plus a handling fee per coupon. If you are in the Atlanta area, message me and I will shop for you, too!

What is the right number? I and my husband are raising 4 children…6 in the household. I also give things to my mom and grandmother both are unable to work right and are on tight resources. What would you suggest because I don't have a stock pile of anything other than what I have grown in the garden. Thanks in advance :)

That's not crazy. If we are willing to spend our money to buy the papers, we can get as many coupons as we like. You have the same chance to get coupons as anyone else. Don't be jealous of someone “wiping” out the shelves when you too can do it.
