yeah that sounds good to be your first trip and honestly foodlion didnt have the best sales this week, however cvs is always rocking!! bilo is my favorite place to save! they have alot of buy1get1 free sales with doubling your coupons, you save a ton

your best way to get any of the foodlion coupons is to go to the top of the page here and click on grocery store coupons and scroll down until you find the foodlion coupons, or go to the foodlion website and find the same coupons there too

I'm new to couponing but I did get to FL today and with a combo of coupons and MVP card I saved just over $49. I was hoping that I would have less out of pocket ($79 to be exact) but I still don't think it's that bad for my first time out. Tomorrow I can't wait to try the CVS deals.

I went to Food Lion Friday morning to take advantage of the GREAT deal on the Bounty paper towels and was very disappointed to see them marked $5.99 instead of $4.99!!! I decided to leave and just get the Marcal ones at Bi-Lo instead.

We have two FL stores in my town, one is just as nice as can be, the others are complete weiners about coupons! You really have to watch them, if my coupon doesn't scan they just keep going, they don't even try to figure it out. I try to just go to the friendly store but sometimes I have to go in the other if there is a really good closeout deal. Food Lion has been having some really good closeout deals lately so I have been frequenting their store more, I just have to pick my check out person carefully!

Just hit a school supply mother load at the Food Lion, they had 4 buggies filled with clearance items in the front of the store. Bought a scientific calculator for 2.00, sharpie 8 packs(different colors) for 1.75, sharpie highlighters (4) for 62¢, all kinds of different Cutter outdoor insect repellant $1.25. And for some reason a 64oz Welches Juice for 1.25 (50¢ after my coupon). A ton of stuff, hope you get lucky at your store!

Just had bad experience with my Food Lion in Murfreesboro TN. There are a few unhappy cashiers that are always angry to see my coupons. They just can't compete with Publix – I will only go there to get the coupon books to use at Publix, from now on. I would rather give Publix 50 cents for peanuts than get them for free at FL, and have to put up with the unpleasantness, anyway.

The reason that you may get coupons that aren't related to your personalized shopping habits is because there are three kinds of coupons the MVP Savings Center prints: personalized, targeted, and general.

Personalized coupons are based on your previous shopping habits, targeted coupons are for similar items you buy but of a different brand (i.e. Ball Park franks when you usually buy Oscar Mayer) because they want you to try something new, and the generalized coupons are those unrelated ones you posted about.

That would be our MVP Savings Center kiosk. It's great. I found my original MVP Card and the coupons were definitely more personalized than the replacement card I got. The first three times you scan your card you get personalized coupons. Afterwards you get more generalized coupons.

I think it's great and I scan it every day.

I work at Food Lion and I thought that the Capri Sun $2.00 coupons were fraudulent until I complained to my Manager on Duty. He then printed out a corporate e-mail that was sent to the managers, a list of Food Lion store coupons that we were supposed to accept.

They likely think the coupons are fraudulent because the managers are not checking their e-mails or as in my case they are not communicating the information to the front-line associates.

went to FL this morning to take advantage of the pampers deal…they scanned both the store coupon and the manft coupon…looked at the receipt to verify…FL one rang up $1 (supposed to be $1.50) the manft rang up correctly
make sure you don't lose your $0.50 like i almost did!!!

I would contact Food Lion corporate or a regional office or something. I receive the coupons in the email directly from Food Lion. I have never had any problems using the coupons.

I also have never let anyone else use my card, and I get dog food coupons — you guessed it, no dog! I do know my coupon sheet that prints is different from other people's because I've seen them left in the paper catcher under the printer. It must be random selection. FYI, ask your cashier if you can use other people's coupons left behind with your MVP card — I was told “yes” and actually was able to use one. Sometimes others' coupons are better than my own!

When I do a Facebook “like” to get a coupon, I “like” them, print the coupon twice and then go into my FB info page and edit, removing the page I no longer want to be connected with. That way I get the coupon and have my privacy back!

I was told by the Food Lion near my house that they don't even accept Food Lion coupons from the internet. That they are frad. I tried to do the capri sun deal last week and they threw away that coupon.
