This week I  made it out to Kroger for a trip during the Mega Event.  I actually made a video of our trip that I’ll post in the morning (waiting on Youtube tonight).  It was a great Mega Event ad, so if you haven’t made it out you still have all day tomorrow in the south east region or possibly longer if your store sales don’t change until the middle of next week.

Kroger:
Total Before coupons and Sales: $89.44
Total Spent: $37.10
Total Saved: $52.34 or 58.5%

Walgreens:
Total before coupons and sales: $33.82
Total Spent: $8.58
Total Saved: $25.24 or 74.6 %

Our Walgreens ad all outside toys 50% off, on top of a few items being in this weeks ad.  We are about to head out to the beach to I used some Register Rewards to get us some fun beach toys, bubbles, jump ropes and two bug catching kits.  It was a lot of fun to go on a little end of summer shopping spree and I’ve struggled all week keeping them a secret from my kids.  I am never very good with presents,  I want to watch them enjoy them right then!
