Did you get your B1G1 Home Depot Gardening printable coupons today?  If you didn’t then you need to get signed up for the Home Depot Improver Club and Gardening Club and any other Home Depot email newsletters you would like.  They send emails with great coupons and home mailers using the info that you give them.

Also if you are moving soon (or recently moved) you can get 10% off your next purchase!

      Hey ya'll. I found out today, that both Home Depot and Lowes (home improvement store) give 10% military discount all the time, they just don't advertise it. You have to ask, I heard it's on to of other sales and coupons. I have not verified this though.

          At Home Depot, you just present your Military Card at the time of payment and it's a quick 10% off. At Lowe's, however, they have to call a manager to the register to check out the card and key in an approval card. It can be a time consuming hassle if the store is busy. When you buy in Lowe's, we've found it helpful to WAVE YOUR MILITARY CARD IN THE AIR so they see it before they get you to the register. Hopefully they'll already have the manager called by the time you check out.

      As for it being recently or soon, for the Lowe's coupon, I put in the date we moved 5 years ago and it still gave it to me. It's not too picky, just in case you need something big now.

      There are also “$10 off a $50 purchase” coupons floating around from Lowes. This saves you 20% if you need to spend that much. If you get the hard copies, they are usually honored at Home Depot. If you get the printable ones, you have to use them at Lowes. I have bought a bunch recently on my favorite auction site when I was replacing all my doors. I had to do lots of transactions, but it was worth it. Hope this helps somebody.
