      My Kroger in Dallas, GA (Crossroads) has Blue Bell ice cream included in this sale! I ran in last night for cat food, saw the sign, but now I can't remember the price, but I do remember thinking it was good! And, I milk was included, I think for $1.88 a gallon.

      They must be different, depending on region. My store had Blue Bell ice cream for ~$2.88, cherries for $1.99, Doritos for ~$1.99 and something else I can't remember.

        The Atlanta area Kroger also has strawberries for $1.68 on the four day sale. The Dole brand strawberries have a coupon for $1 off strawberries wyb Cool Whip (reg price $1.69)
        Loving sliced strawberries on my Blue Bell ice cream! Yum!

      Our Irmo, SC store didn't have milk for $1.98 – it was $2.48 as advertised in the weekly circular that came out on July 4th. The sign did show eggs for .88 – which were all gone Wed night! Any other differences??

      This may be a stupid question, but I don't buy it much. What's a “good” price for shrimp? I know a good price for boneless/skinless chkn is 1.99/lb or less. Is this a good price for shrimp?

        For wild harvested Key West shrimp, it's a decent price. Having seen them personally, they are on the smallish side. Extra tasty, nonetheless, if you don't mind peelin' them!

        hi amy and welcome to the southern savers family….fyi on chicken….you can always find a store w/ chicken at .99 lb or less…..i wouldnt pay 1.99lb at all…hold out …food lion and kroger both have it at .99 and .97 lb….as far as shrimp…i am in the same boat ..dont buy it enough..but hope the chicken comment helped…. :)

          You can definitely find split chicken breasts for .99/lb, but I have been doing the coupon game for almost a year & 1.77 is the cheapest I've ever seen boneless & skinless.

        That's a good price I think. I see it for more a lot of times, and if you pay less it's usually for really little frozen shrimp that are a lot of work to cook.

      yall are lucky my kroger's milk is alway 3.60's a gallon so we go to a gas station here in town were we get it for 2 for 5 dollars that is the cheapest we have found in town

      My Kroger in Peachtree City GA had blackberries for $1, that's a great price!

      Also if you keep an eye out in the fish department, lately they have had big mahi fillets for $3.99/lb…under $8 will get you a big enough piece to grill and serve 4 adults, make mango salsa with the $1 mangoes and you have a decent price for a really nice dinner, obviously not super cheap but after getting onion and whatever else you may need it's still less than $20 for something healthy and a little different.

      The Kroger on Harper Rd., Beckley, WV has Kroger sliced American Cheese on sale for $3.99/lb. (Normally $5.99/lb.) I don't see it advertised anywhere, but when I purchased a pound today, the deli lady said that with the card it was $3.99/lb. Don't know if other Krogers are doing the same thing.
