ughhhh...FIRST TIME COUPON USER!!! I was told about your sight yesterday and went through alot of of it yesterday and today. I made my first trip to Target ready with coupons in hand....It took me a bit to find specific items and then the cashier told me I couldn't get the coupon $2 off for the travel size right guards. I said it says ANY right guard. She took a bit of fooling around while everyone behind me was getting upset. She then showed me that she price over rided something to get the $2.00 off...well I didn't get them for free...I still paid $0.54 which is not bad, except I was only buying them because they were free...I also was rung up full price on the boneless chicken of 8.99 instead of the sale 5.99. I didn't notice till the car so now I have to go back in and get it straight. Ugghhh...I already feel ...is it worth it?!
  • Meges01
Always be sure to carry a copy of the coupons policy with you. Just in case if there are any issues. As a rule of thumb I always purchase something extra like a candy bar then usually i just pay less than a dollar for the item. Also it depends who rings up your groceries too. Some are more pick then others and then you get some that just don't want to have to ring up all those coupons. Trust me it is worth it. I purchased 69.10 of groceries and after coupons I only paid 12.75!!!
  • Ariel
I know it's frustrating in the beginning. But stick with it. I just started using the site in March and have already saved almost $500 b/w Kroger, CVS, and Walgreens trips. The thing is you just have to learn which of your local stores are the best to shop in using the coupons and other recommendations. Some Targets won't give you any trouble while other Targets are a huge pain to deal with. The best thing to do is ask a store manager or at the customer service desk if they will allow you to use a coupon like the one you used before you hunt for the item. Once you have established what that store will allow you to do, it will get much easier. You will also get quicker at creating your shopping lists, obtaining your coupons, and will start saving money.
    Just stick with it!
    Good luck!!!!

i had a great trip to target this morning, here's what i got for under $10:

2 clean & clear travel size, 8 olay single bars, 7 banquet meals, 1 chef boyardee, 1 kid cuisine, 1 nature valley granola bars, 3 easy macs, 3 hamb helpers, 1 large Merona handbag (oh yeah!), 1 pair c9 exercise pants, 2 tide 2x ultra trial size, and 1 ore-ida bagel bites.

    thanks, Jenny!
  • Jessica
Just had an upsetting trip...I was going to use my $5/2 Benadryl q and get the sticks. I was happy to see I got the last 2 sticks as the q is about to expire tomorrow...I also picked up a couple of Crystal Lights and planned to use my remaining Vocal Point q's which were about to expire. Also got a trial size ibuprofin, which really wasn't trial sized, but whatever. Anyway, the $2 Crystal Light q's came off as $1.97...which was fine, I was still getting them free. But, the $5 Benadryl one only came off as $2.29, the price of one stick. When I questioned the cashier, I got sent to Customer Service. She then said they couldn't do anything since that's how it scanned, and I couldn't get 2 for free. Even when I asked if they could manually enter $4.58...the answer was no. I almost called corporate, but the lady was nice, and I wasn't sure it was worth the bother. I know this has been happening all over the place, but I wasn't even sure what to say to the lady after trying to explain the situation, and that I wasn't cheating the system. Thoughts?
  • Ahutchins9
Had a great trip at Target today. Had a few coupons that were expiring today so i decided to use them up. I got 2 Nivea BW, Olay Total effects BW, Nivea Happy sensations lotion, and 4 Nivea lip balms. Total op $6.95. The best part is it scanned some of my coupons wrong and i ended up saving $4.00 more than i should have!
  • Cjaj
The way I was treated in our target in chattanooga last night was terrible. They act like coupons are a bad thing. My cashier was so rude. She would not even except my coupons .I don't think I ever want to go back into that store.I told her to give me back my coupons and I would just go to wal-mart..
  • Hjdapples
which Target did you go to? I have some rude ones and then I have had some nice ones!! Hamilton Place Target you have to watch because they do not always ring up ALL of your coupons. Everytime I use 1 target q and 1 manu q they "skip" putting one in.
  • chefMary
Just buzzed through our Target and found Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies on a clearance isle for $2.08! I checked the expiration date and it's Feb. 2011. That's a great one to snag w/ a house full of kiddos.

  • Belinda
I just left my local Target. Went in with only $70 to spend for my budget & only spent $66. Today, I received my Target mailer with some of the above mentioned coupons. Plus, I followed some of the links you provided & found manufacturer's coupons as well. I also found several items on CLEARANCE. Some were on end aisles & some were in their normal place. Plus, I found Loreal Photo Ready foundation & mascara - 10% off. Planters Sea Salt Pistachios - Sale price - $4.00 (reg 5.19), Barilla Plus Spaghetti - $1.84, Del Monte Fruit Cups - $2.00 (used 1.00 off Target coupon). I used the $5.00 off coupon (when you spend $50 or more) on the back of the mail circular & she hands me ANOTHER $5.00 off card. I was SO excited! I saved almost $19 which doesn't sound like much but I bought 5 bags of stuff, mostly grocery items. I did, however, make the mistake of not bringing my coupon file with me. I just took the ones I needed, but I could have saved more.
  • Belinda
Oh, I almost forgot. It's also important to know that even though there is a sale circular or you see an ad online, they do not have all of the items available in all stores. I overheard an employee saying that to a customer. I also didn't have problems using the manufacturer coupons with the Target coupons.
  • GA Girl
Where is the Snyder's link for the printable Target q listed above? It says printable but no link is provided.
  • Brittany
Go to targets website, click coupons top right and scroll through till you find it!

Spent $4.69 at Target this week. I bought 4 Benadryl Itch Relief Sticks, 2 Sobe Lifewaters, 1 Bagel Bites, 2 Individual chef Boyardee, 2 Kid Cuisine, 1 box Nature Valley granola bars, and a Willy Wonka chocolate bar. (couldn't find the $2 Wonka bag.)For some reason the $4/2 Benadryl q rang up $2.29 off instead of $4 off. The cashier thought it might be because their small like trail size, but she and the manager agreed with me that they weren't trial size, so they manually entered $4. I was happy with their great attitude about it. :)
  • 3monkeysmom
There is a 50 CENT Target q on their site for any Papermate product....couldn't find any on sale at Target that would make them free but Publix had the 10 pk. pens 2/$1. If your Publix accepts Target q's (which thankfully mine does) this makes them free :-)
  • Rebekah1g
I am a little confused with the Target Coupons. Are we allowed to use more than one? For example, the Chef Boyardee has a couon for $1.50/4. In order to get them free, we would need 4 target coupons. I noticed the coupon says "one per transaction". What is a transaction? I have been able to use multiple coupons before, but it looks like they might have changed their policy. I am about to make a trip to Target, so any information would be very appreciated. Thanks!
  • Smartblonde
It seems that many stores allow people to use multiple coupons even though they say one per transaction (or the cashier doesn't notice or care), but you're only supposed to use one. A transaction is the whole purchase. From the first item the cashier rings up until you pay. This is different then one coupon per purchase (this would mean per item). You could try it, but if it doesn't work I wouldn't fight it.
  • Rebekah1g
I have done it plenty of times before, but I noticed that people were saying it seems to be a lot more enforced now. Thank you for your reply! I will give it a try? I live in city with horrible customer service so I am not too hopeful! That is why I love Publix!! haha :)

I just got back from Target and they are marking down toys to 75% off on a lot of them. I got Bugsby books $2.48 V-tech $10 Mega blocks $3.98 and lots of others. enjoy.

I spent $100 on toys this morning and couldn't see out the back of my SUV leaving the store! I got toys for my son's b-day, 3 b-day parties we have coming up, and 2 toys each for both of my kids to save for Christmas.
  • momof3inATL
Hi all. For those of you who receive a free Wednesday paper from your local county/city (mine happens to be Dekalb Co., GA), there was a smart source insert. I believe it is the same coupons from 7/25. I placed it under the Target comment section b/c there is a coupon for Snyder's Pretzels in there.
  • Lisa
Does anybody ever have a hard time with all these freebies? Does Target accept your coupons for all the trial size stuff?
  • Rbrown
I've tried to use a tide $1 off coupon for a travel sized Tide that was priced at .97 and at one Target the cashier wouldn't accept it and at the other she gave me a hard time even though the coupon said it was valid on any size.

I tried to buy a few trial sized freebies yesterday, and the cashier said she couldn't take the coupons b/c they were for $1 and the items were $0.97--"We would essentially be paying you to take them."
  • Coupons777
I bought about 12 travel size (not trial size) toiletries in one transaction, all free with coupons. Some of the Qs said "excluding trial size" and I had no problem. I did have one or two Qs that I noticed said "excl. trial or travel size" so did not use those. I made sure I did not use any that specified size such as "on 3 oz or larger" size.

All of a sudden when I print target's web coupons a barcode is printing but the price and description are not. Is this right?

    Will CVS honor Target coupons?
  • TheHovites
Nothing to do with the specials this week. I just needed Venus replacement razors. I had a $2q, but it seems to have rung up as only $.55 off. It seems that the coupons show up right under the product... Has anyone ever had this happen? I'm sure there's nothing I can do at this point.

I just wanted to say thanks for all you do! I was able to save $27.55 at target today on necessary itmes for my kitchen and back to school. You all must take advantage of the juicy juice, chef boyardee .99, and especially Hanes. My local target (VA) has Hanes socks 3.99-$1 target webcoupon - $0.50 coupon on pkg...all those items came out to less than 45. Chef was FREE, socks, 2.50, juicy juice 1.29, and so clever to use health and beauty coupons for travel size...I brought home so much that we use! I love the target coupons, but try to remember what the discount is, my coupons don't have listed the $ amt and qty...but they still took them!

Can you get more than one store coupon, or can you only print one each time? I would like to go back to target for more freebies if it is possible to get more store coupons from Target.
  • It's too bad you can't buy two 32oz Dannon Yogurts and two Bare Naked Granolas and get both granolas free using the Target Promo and the B1G1F coupon.
  • meg
Why not? Have you tried this and it didn't work? I was hoping to get this.
  • I tried and they said that since I wasn't purchasing 2 of the Bear Naked Granolas (since one was free) that I could not use the B1G1F coupon.
  • K16immy
I have a question about Target's price matching. Will they price match a B1G1 from another store's ad?
  • Krista
As far as I know, they do not. My target will only match actual numbered prices so no b1g1, or b2g3, etc. Maybe you'll have better luck!
  • Ruth
I had a great trip to Target today! I was a little nervous about needing to do separate transactions after reading the other comments here, but when I went to check out, I asked the cashier first. She was SUPER nice, even when I told her I had a billion coupons, and let me do everything all in one transaction. It still took forever to go through all of the Qs, but she was even nice when she had to do at least 10 of them manually. She didn't question any of the trial sizes, either. One thing I did notice was that the Wonka bars were not on sale at my store, either. However, since they were only $2.29, I decided to get them anyway. I'm glad I did because they are delicious!
  • TheHovites
I was interested in the "Freebie" St. Ives Body Wash and the Satin Care Shave... when I went to clip my qs, instead of being for $1.00 off as stated next to the product, my qs were for either .55 or .50. Is this a regional thing? I don't think Target doubles qs so this would not make it free.
  • Immaculate888
That is how my paper is also....so I can't take advantage of some of the cool freebie travel sized items. poop!
  • LINDA
My Target coupon for the Bic Stationery products says for 2 packages not 1, so that would not be FREE.
  • Nancycrom
There IS another Bic q on the site for $1 off 1, i used it on the white out. I don't remember which section it was under though.
  • Jessica
There was a $1/1 about 2 days ago, but now it's $1/2...they must've realized everyone was getting free pens!
  • No wonka for ATL
Wonka wasn't on sale at my target in Atlanta. Rang up for $3.49 :-( - Will they price match another city that does have it on sale?
  • So i noticed in the ad that the Schick Hydro 5's are on sale this week for 6.99.
    Well
    Take the $5 manufacture Q
along with the $1 target IP=
.99 each BUT if your store is participating in the $5 GC wyb 4 you end up only pay tax less $1 :-)

    hope this makes sense:

    6.99*4
    -5*4
    -1*4
    =3.96

    -get $GC
  • Im having problems with the bagel bites q - anyone able to print it
  • 3monkeysmom
Which one, Target or the Bagel Bites website? I got the Target ones but the Bagel Bites website said there were no prints available for this campaign.........
  • TheHovites
No problems here. I've printed two.
  • kaseyshadow
Has there been an offical change to the target Q policy? When I went last Friday and tried to use a target Q and manufacture Q the second Q beeped. The cashier tried to tell me I could only use on Q per produce and had to manually push the Target Q through after I said I thought that we could us a manufacture Q and a target Q on the same product. Was planning on going to target today but if the policy has changed I'll skip that stop.
  • kaseyshadow
Sorry that should read I could only use one Q per product. Can't spell this early in the monring.
  • Amt1218
I dealt with the same issue last week. I only had one item and did not feel up to waiting.. it wasn't something I just had to have so I said forget it and walked out. It was for some Clearsil that was on sale.. I had one manufat. Q and one Target Q. When it beeped she said u can only use one coupon per item. I explained to her and she said.. no u cannot do that. It just wasn't worth the time on this one. Now when I got back this week if I have several items which hopefully I will I am going to try it again and this time I will wait on the manager. They need to get their policies straight at Target!!!
  • kaseyshadow
I heard back from Target corp and they sent me their policy which states you can use a target Q and a manufacture Q on the same product and said to call the 1-800 number if it happened again. I went yesterday and used two Q on the same product just fine. Maybe it was because the product was on sell and I was getting it for like 44 cents. It was on a clean and clear prodcut. Interesting that it happened on those products.
  • lindsey
Might anyone know why my $5/2 q for benedryl products on (2) benedryl itchsticks at $2.29 each would have only taken $2.29 off instead of the whole $5? Am I calculating wrong?
  • Meredith
I had a problem with this today. At my store, they were $2.54 each and when she scanned the coupon, it only took $2.54 off. I disputed it and she was like, "well thats what it scanned." and I kept telling her, but it says $5 off!!! I made her manually take $5 off! I dont know why they are scanning that way, though.

Walmart & Bi Lo has the full size pizzas (Greenville/Greer SC). I got personal size Digorno at my Rite Aid - which is closing and had everything 50% off.

They are personal sized. I assumed it was a full size pizza and couldn't find them either. Hope that helps!

I had a great Target trip today in Pensacola, FL. I had over 50 coupons, had two coupons for many items (Target and mfg), used 6 non-Target reusable bags, and had a great cashier!
Total bc $117.06, saved $81.06, total out of pocket $36.00. After reading all of these posts, I really LOVE my Target.
  • Exgypsee11
Pensacola, FL Target had some if the Kid Cuisine Meals (chicken leg, corn, pudding) clearanced at $1.24 so with the coupon they were $ .24. They were in adifferent area of the freezer and were not right next to the other KC meals.
  • Charo
The Target store I went to had Bagel Bites on sale for $3.41 in Franklin, TN...anybody in the Nashville or surrounding area find them on sale for $2.24?

My store (Trussville, AL) didn't have the $5 giftcard deal with the Schick disposables. I scanned all the varities they had and they rang up for $5.49 but didn't show that they were part of the gifcard offer :-(
  • Meredith1976
I went to Target today (in Columbus, GA) and was informed that Target will now only accept 1 coupon or 1 Target coupon and manufacturer coupon per item per transaction. If you want to buy multiples and use coupons for each they have to ring them up as seperate transactions. For example, I was buying 2 Bagel Bites (had a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for each), 2 Aqua Fresh kids toothpastes (had a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for each), 2 Sobe waters (had a store coupon for each), 2 Hanover pretzels (had a store and manufacturer coupon for each) and a couple of other itmes that I did not have coupons for. After the cashier rang me up the register would not take my coupons. We called the manager over and she explained the new rule passed down from corporate. So, we had to void the order and start over with 1 couopn item per order. It takes a lot longer this way and seems like more work for the cashier. So, from now on, separate your orders before hand so that you only have 1 coupon item per order. UGH!
  • Pregopoulos
Thanks for your post; now I understand what went wrong yesterday! I didn't have time to check my receipt at the store with 3 kids and a friend along as we ran out the door for lunch.........but I thought something didn't sound right.

Now when I look over my receipt, I see the boo boos! 4 cans chef boyardee - 3 $1 Target coupons and 1 $1.50 conagra off 4. It took my 3 $1, but it did not take my conagra. Also the bagel bites, it took my $1 (which one I don't really know) but I had the manu. and the Target.....didn't take the other. I had totaled up $17 in coupons before I checked out. I only got $12.50....:( But now I see why.
  • 3monkeysmom
Ugghh...I had this happen to me today too (Trussville, AL). Sooo annoying.
I tried to use 2 BOGO Sobe coupons and 2 Target coupons. Was told that b/c the BOGO coupon said "one per purchase," I could only use one. I tried to tell her that "one per purchase" is not the same thing as "one per transaction." She still wouldn't budge. So I voided two of the Sobe's off.
Then she told me that if they say that, then I can only use one. I went through all my coupons when she was ringing me up and I noticed that alot of the Target coupons say "one per transaction."
You can only print two from their website so I don't understand why they limit it to 1 coupon per transaction. I could understand limiting them if you try to use more than you are allowed to print. But what difference does it make whether I use the two coupons in one transaction or two. I'm still buying both of them.....why make it more complicated???
So annoyed but I did have a GREAT trip and scored all kinds of deals so I was pretty happy anyway :-)

  • Aczek16
YES. I had that happen to me too. i tried to use both of the BOGO on Stride gum, but was told that you couldnt do that....i was like all of the other stores do! the cashier said (kinda snotty) that i could only use both BOGO coupons if i bought 4 packs of gum....umm, no mame thats NOT what i wanted.
however, i do like that they have take their store coupons, manf. coupons, and will match other store prices! this ends up saving x3!! :))
  • 3monkeysmom
Actually if you were only trying to buy 2 items, then the cashier would be correct. ( I had 4 Sobes, 2 BOGO q's and 2 Target q's...she was telling me I can only use one BOGO coupon, no matter how many I had.)
You can use a BOGO q on a BOGO sale at most drugs stores and some grocery stores (the ones who do true BOGO, not 1/2 off each item) and you will get both items for free but you can't use 2 BOGO q's on only 2 items and get them both free, you would have to buy 4 items :-)
  • Missywooten
I don't see the Schick disposables buy 2 and get a $5 gift card in my ad. Is it in another ad?
  • mer
I can't find the Schick coupons anywhere. Can anyone else?
  • LuvthisStuff
The Target Bic Coupon is for 2 so it wouldn't be free
