Always be sure to carry a copy of the coupons policy with you. Just in case if there are any issues. As a rule of thumb I always purchase something extra like a candy bar then usually i just pay less than a dollar for the item. Also it depends who rings up your groceries too. Some are more pick then others and then you get some that just don't want to have to ring up all those coupons. Trust me it is worth it. I purchased 69.10 of groceries and after coupons I only paid 12.75!!!

I know it's frustrating in the beginning. But stick with it. I just started using the site in March and have already saved almost $500 b/w Kroger, CVS, and Walgreens trips. The thing is you just have to learn which of your local stores are the best to shop in using the coupons and other recommendations. Some Targets won't give you any trouble while other Targets are a huge pain to deal with. The best thing to do is ask a store manager or at the customer service desk if they will allow you to use a coupon like the one you used before you hunt for the item. Once you have established what that store will allow you to do, it will get much easier. You will also get quicker at creating your shopping lists, obtaining your coupons, and will start saving money.<br>Just stick with it!<br>Good luck!!!!

ughhhh...FIRST TIME COUPON USER!!! I was told about your sight yesterday and went through alot of of it yesterday and today. I made my first trip to Target ready with coupons in hand....It took me a bit to find specific items and then the cashier told me I couldn't get the coupon $2 off for the travel size right guards. I said it says ANY right guard. She took a bit of fooling around while everyone behind me was getting upset. She then showed me that she price over rided something to get the $2.00 off...well I didn't get them for free...I still paid $0.54 which is not bad, except I was only buying them because they were free...I also was rung up full price on the boneless chicken of 8.99 instead of the sale 5.99. I didn't notice till the car so now I have to go back in and get it straight. Ugghhh...I already feel ...is it worth it?!

Just had an upsetting trip...I was going to use my $5/2 Benadryl q and get the sticks. I was happy to see I got the last 2 sticks as the q is about to expire tomorrow...I also picked up a couple of Crystal Lights and planned to use my remaining Vocal Point q's which were about to expire. Also got a trial size ibuprofin, which really wasn't trial sized, but whatever. Anyway, the $2 Crystal Light q's came off as $1.97...which was fine, I was still getting them free. But, the $5 Benadryl one only came off as $2.29, the price of one stick. When I questioned the cashier, I got sent to Customer Service. She then said they couldn't do anything since that's how it scanned, and I couldn't get 2 for free. Even when I asked if they could manually enter $4.58...the answer was no. I almost called corporate, but the lady was nice, and I wasn't sure it was worth the bother. I know this has been happening all over the place, but I wasn't even sure what to say to the lady after trying to explain the situation, and that I wasn't cheating the system. Thoughts?

Had a great trip at Target today. Had a few coupons that were expiring today so i decided to use them up. I got 2 Nivea BW, Olay Total effects BW, Nivea Happy sensations lotion, and 4 Nivea lip balms. Total op $6.95. The best part is it scanned some of my coupons wrong and i ended up saving $4.00 more than i should have!

Thanks for your post; now I understand what went wrong yesterday! I didn't have time to check my receipt at the store with 3 kids and a friend along as we ran out the door for lunch.........but I thought something didn't sound right.<br><br>Now when I look over my receipt, I see the boo boos! 4 cans chef boyardee - 3 $1 Target coupons and 1 $1.50 conagra off 4. It took my 3 $1, but it did not take my conagra. Also the bagel bites, it took my $1 (which one I don't really know) but I had the manu. and the Target.....didn't take the other. I had totaled up $17 in coupons before I checked out. I only got $12.50....:( But now I see why.

Just buzzed through our Target and found Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies on a clearance isle for $2.08! I checked the expiration date and it's Feb. 2011. That's a great one to snag w/ a house full of kiddos.

Oh, I almost forgot. It's also important to know that even though there is a sale circular or you see an ad online, they do not have all of the items available in all stores. I overheard an employee saying that to a customer. I also didn't have problems using the manufacturer coupons with the Target coupons.

I just left my local Target. Went in with only $70 to spend for my budget & only spent $66. Today, I received my Target mailer with some of the above mentioned coupons. Plus, I followed some of the links you provided & found manufacturer's coupons as well. I also found several items on CLEARANCE. Some were on end aisles & some were in their normal place. Plus, I found Loreal Photo Ready foundation & mascara - 10% off. Planters Sea Salt Pistachios - Sale price - $4.00 (reg 5.19), Barilla Plus Spaghetti - $1.84, Del Monte Fruit Cups - $2.00 (used 1.00 off Target coupon). I used the $5.00 off coupon (when you spend $50 or more) on the back of the mail circular & she hands me ANOTHER $5.00 off card. I was SO excited! I saved almost $19 which doesn't sound like much but I bought 5 bags of stuff, mostly grocery items. I did, however, make the mistake of not bringing my coupon file with me. I just took the ones I needed, but I could have saved more.

Spent $4.69 at Target this week. I bought 4 Benadryl Itch Relief Sticks, 2 Sobe Lifewaters, 1 Bagel Bites, 2 Individual chef Boyardee, 2 Kid Cuisine, 1 box Nature Valley granola bars, and a Willy Wonka chocolate bar. (couldn't find the $2 Wonka bag.)For some reason the $4/2 Benadryl q rang up $2.29 off instead of $4 off. The cashier thought it might be because their small like trail size, but she and the manager agreed with me that they weren't trial size, so they manually entered $4. I was happy with their great attitude about it. :)

I had a problem with this today. At my store, they were $2.54 each and when she scanned the coupon, it only took $2.54 off. I disputed it and she was like, "well thats what it scanned." and I kept telling her, but it says $5 off!!! I made her manually take $5 off! I dont know why they are scanning that way, though.

I've tried to use a tide $1 off coupon for a travel sized Tide that was priced at .97 and at one Target the cashier wouldn't accept it and at the other she gave me a hard time even though the coupon said it was valid on any size.

Although Target coupons print fine on my PC, I can't get them to print on my Mac either. Not even with Firefox. I'd love it if someone knows of a solution- it's maddening!

I spent $100 on toys this morning and couldn't see out the back of my SUV leaving the store! I got toys for my son's b-day, 3 b-day parties we have coming up, and 2 toys each for both of my kids to save for Christmas.

I tried to buy a few trial sized freebies yesterday, and the cashier said she couldn't take the coupons b/c they were for $1 and the items were $0.97--"We would essentially be paying you to take them."
