Since I have a newborn, my money seems to fly out the window on baby necessities so if I were to get a $500 shopping spree at LNT.com I’d buy…. new sheets for my oldest child, new towels because mine are 8 years old, new shower curtain and floor mat for my daughters bathroom since she’s been begging me for months, storage containers, and the list goes on…

Wow! How great of LNT to offer this! Well…I think I would buy things to outfit my kid's rooms. This past year has been emotionally draining, and we are moving again next weekend to another house. I have kept saying that we will eventually decorate their rooms like we want to, but still have not. They are sweet, but I know they could be so much nicer. My kiddos are Hannah, 4, Samuel 2 and Bethany, almost 1 (September 3)!! And, if I didn't spend all the 500 on that, some new pots and pans–because I LOVE to cook–especially with fall and the holidays coming up!!

If I were handed $500 to spend at Linens 'N Things, the first thing I would do is pick out new sheets, blankets and comforters for our two beds. They have thrift store things on them (which is fine, they're clean! LOL) but would love to be able to purchase something new, you know what I mean? And then, if there were any left over, I would buy new towels for kitchen and bathroom and new bathroom rugs, THEN if any left I would get a new shower curtain! My boyfriend and I are fixing to move into our first home away from home together. I am a college student and he earns minimum wage. Our families have been generous enough to give us some of the things we will need, but there are tons of things that we still lack. I would stretch the money as far as possible to cover the costs of things like appliances and bedding. I've never had the best of luck at winning contests, so this one would definitely make up for those that I've lost.

$500 could go a long way. Since we moved in our house, our master bedroom has been the one room that we have done nothing to. The kids rooms and living spaces always come first. I would buy new bed linens, sheets, fancy pillows, matching towels for the master bath, pictures for the room, lamps, picture frames and just some accessories. WOW! That $500 went fast! If there is any money left over – maybe some beach towels that are on sale for next summer!

Better question- what wouldn't I buy?! But if I had to choose one thing, I'd definitely go with a new Kitchen-Aid mixer. I'm the daughter of a baker and am CONSTANTLY ostracized because of my lack of proper baking supplies. I'd be able to strike back with a sweet doughy vengeance! Yay cake!

Probably a new set of bedding for the master bedroom. After 20 years of marriage, the comforter looks a bit worn and out-of-date, and of course the sheets do not really fit the newer, deeper mattress.

I would buy a new comforters for my bed, new comforters for my two youngest daughters (the hand-me-downs are 10 years old from my oldest two daughters and showing their age), and new utensils. When clearing the table at lunchtime/snacktime over the years, the younger children seemed to forget to put utensils in the sink AND THEN throw your paper plate away. Before long, we might have to prepare only finger food! :)

I have such a bare minimum in my master bedroom. Right now we only have blinds and our mattress. I only have one set of bedsheetand comforter so, I would love to get some new bedsheets, comforter, curtains, towels, rugs etc for my master. My children could use some extra bed sheets as well.

We paid off all of our debt – $42K in student loans in less than two years. We've been renting for three years and now we're saving for a house. We've tried to keep things simple so we've never bought curtains for our apartment – we just have blinds. Probably curtains! Most of the ones up now were here when we moved in, left by the previous owner, a 75 year old who lived in this home most of her life. The curtains are good material but SO not our style.

Just got a new mattress and am dying to get some high thread count, deep pocket sheets. 1500 thread count sounds great!!!

I LOVE Linens-N-Things…my husband and I registered there for our wedding about 2 1/2 years ago. They practically have EVERYTHING! With $500, I would buy more of their towels (they are the best thing that we got & have lasted so long), new bedding and pillows for our bed (also because the older ones we have are amazing!), some organization materials for our office space at home (which has never been organized), and wall art with any money that's left over.

I would get new curatins for the dinner room and kitchen. I would new new bedding for all of the family.

A fancy stand mixer since mine is 13 years old, and shakes a little when I use it. I would also have to look at the cookwear. I am buying a new piece at a time and would love to just be done!!

The first item on my list is a duvet cover. My current one is so worn that it shows it's age and it is simply falling apart. However, the better quality made duvet covers cost several hundred dollars which is to much to spend with all the teacher furlough days and budget costs we have experienced in the past year.

I would re-outfit my bedroom and then work on the bath!

First I would buy a 8 person plate setting, since we only have odds and ends to feed 4. I would also buy some home organization items, maybe some patio furniture (since we have none), and a toothbrush holder. As you can see we still need lots of items for our home!

I would definitely buy new towels for the guest bathroom. I bought cheap ones and they are very thin now, and I feel pretty bad for our guests! :) I would also buy new bedding for our guest bed because the sheets are NOT made for the thick mattress we have now so the sheets are always popping off the bed when people sleep on it. Embarrassing!

Oh My! I would start with the bedding for my son and daughter, towels that match in the bath and maybe rugs and window dressings all around!!

I would start with new bedding for my parents. I JUST bought new bedding for myself, and they've had the same bedding for a long time and keep saying they need to replace it. Then I'd use what was left to get some organizational stuff for myself and the basement they just refinished for me.

I would buy new sheets, washcloths, and a food processor first. Then maybe a new bedroom set with all the accessories!

I would definitely buy some bedding for my 1 yr old and my next baby due in 6 weeks! I'd probably rack up on some kitchen products too. I've really enjoyed making my own baby food, but it's tough doing it with limited appliances and storage!

Yes, I agree, they have a great variety. I have a daughter who will be turning 13 in a few months. To organize her room would be great using the closet organizer. Also, I'd like two of the kitchen closet drawer organizers for my pantry, for all the free food I keep getting. The sewing machine table would be nice so we won't have to keep using our kitchen table. That's what I'd use part of the money for if I won. I'm sure I'd find something else to splurge on, if I won.

I would buy remodel my Master bed and bath with new towels, bed sheets, bed spread, Lamps and decorative items. If I had any left over I would buy some new kitchen appliances. I could really use this especially having 3 small kids with no money to spend left on the house.

I would buy my husband an electric blanket. He found himself unemployed for the first time since he was 16 years old, only to find out he is in end stage kidney failure. He is a new dialysis patient and is always cold, my two year old is always bringing him more blankets. I would buy us some new bedding as well to keep him warm at night. I would then spread the word at work, as I always do when I get a great deal or freebies leaving my coworkers saying me, 'teach me how to do that'!!
