I did notice that Target is already clearancing out their school supplies .. no lunchboxes or backpacks just yet, though.

I just left Target about 15 minutes ago and they have the backpacks and lunchboxes on clearance for 30%.

At the TN Target they were 30% off on Friday night.

I'm so sad that the Staples Back to School deals are almost over. I was really starting to like that store!

I'm confused. I just looked up the Staples ad starting Sunday and the deals are completely different than what's listed above. They have bottle glue and BIC pens for 0.01 and paper for 0.50. Am I looking at something wrong?

Usually the sales posted here are the exact same as my ad but they are 100% completely different. I really must be looking at something wrong.

Didn't think about that – good point! I'm going to sweep up these last good deals today then and assume that next week will be back to normal sales for Staples.

Does anyone participate in the OfficeMax MaxPerks Bonus Rewards? It looks like it works just like CVS, but wanted to see if anyone out there had anything they could tell me about it from experience. This week there are 4 or 5 different items where you get 100% back in MaxPerks Rewards.

Okay, I found out a little more about the program. Still a great potential to save money on office/school supplies, but it's not quite as consumer-friendly as CVS. You don't get your rewards instantly upon check out…you have to wait until the next month to get them. So you can't check out multiple times like you do at CVS to take advantage of all of the current week's offers. I still signed up though, so we'll see how it goes.

I just picked up 2-four packs of Scholastic glue sticks, 2-five packs of Sharpies and 3- ten packs of ink pens for $3 & some change. They said they probably won't be there tomorrow and they are going fast, but such a great deal!

Just wanted to point out that in the 8/29SS insert, there is a $2/1 Hammermill paper making the Staples deal a moneymaker!
