I'm in Shelby, NC, and they ring up 1/2 price at my FL. But, if it says limit 2 free, only 4 will ring up 1/2 price and the fifth rings up full price.

Be careful with the Kraft deals posted above. The ad says limit 2 free, so you can't get 5 like items unless you're ready to pay full price for the 5th one. For instance, you can't get 3 shredded cheese and 2 chunk cheese and pay 1/2 price for all of them….the 5th would be full price. YOU CAN, however, get 4 cheeses and 1 cream cheese at all half price b/c those items are separated in the ad.

I was thinking, if you have 2 coupons, you could by 10 items and it woud be 5 groups of 2, hence avoiding the odd amount for the BOGO deal. Does this makes sense?

However, that might not work, unless you can mix 'n match items, because on Hot Coupon World, the preview of the ad says there's a limit of 4 of each. Bummer!

How well does cheese freeze? This is an awesome deal, but there is no way I could use up 10 things of different cheeses anytime soon. We go through about a bag every two weeks…

I freeze cheese all the time – it's fine. Just have to let it sit out for a few minutes before you want to use it.

I have successfully frozen shredded cheese (mozzerella and cheddar types) in the bag and they turn out just fine. Stock up!

DON'T freeze cream cheese! It's texture won't be creamy upon thawing. But all solid/hard cheese come out okay. The chunk cheeses won't be quite as smooth in texture, but the taste is fine.

Why not? I'm thinking if you get 3 shredded cheese and 2 chunk cheese you are “paying” for 2 shredded cheese and “paying” for 1 chunk cheese, hence only getting 2 “free”… (1 shredded and 1 chunk) I wouldn't think that the shredded and chunk are like items. Does this scenerio make sense to anyone else…….if not my oop is not looking quite as good:)

Yeah but with the $5 off q and BOGO I don't mind paying the full price because it still comes out to only .60 a package for each one. Not bad in my book.

At my FL in Piedmont SC BOGOF items ring up 50% off.

I did the deal last time they had B1G1 Limit 2 Free shredded cheese (where Kraft was giving $5 off your next order or whatever). Anyway, my store allowed me to buy 5, because I was buying 3, getting 2 free, and they all still rang-up half-price. In fact, I went to at least three Food Lions and did this deal, and none of them gave me any issues whatsoever. The wording is strange, I agree. If you use the $1/3 coupon, and count what will either be taken off at the register, OR given via a coupon off your next purchase, that is what the price would be, taking BOTH into account.

I am new to couponing at FL. Today I ran in for something quick and noticed the MVP center (similar to the red box at CVS). I scanned my card and it printed 5 coupons for me. 2 of the plainly state “Manufacturers Coupon” with no FL logo. It appears that I will be able to use them in any store. The remaining 3 coupons state that they are “Point of Sale Coupons”, also with no FL logo. Can anyone explain what that means to a newbie??? What are they? Can I use them at any other store? The point of sale will only work in Food Lion, I believe. But I know from experience that the manufacturers coupons will work at Bi-Lo and Publix for sure.

Don't the FL coupons you print out expire at the end of the day? I've always gotten different coupons each time I go, so you never know if its going to be one you could use at a competitor's store. I actually always end up with a bunch of FL brand coupons

If you want the cheapest route of those cheeses, then get 4 sliced cheeses (since there is a limit of 4) and then get a shredded or sliced as your 5th one.

I plan on using two coupons. I am wanting to get 4 shredded, 4 cream cheeses, and 2 sliced. So that'll put my total at 1.28 after both coupons. 13 cents for each item aint bad :)

the store in piedmont sc has 35cent coupons on the diet dr peppers. ah, if only they doubled coupons. still, 64 cents for a 2 liter is pretty good! (and if you have no guilt taking them off the bottles,you could take them to another store that doubles- i just took ONE!:)

Nope! But some FL’s in Chattanooga are definitely better than others in regard to how they treat others.

I went to the East Ridge FL and was overcharged a dollar (the cashier had to manually enter a B1G1 Free coupon so she could write down and type-in the total amount of the product purchased), and even though I questioned her, she insisted she had the correct price. I looked at my receipt when it was all said and done, and sure enough, she had overcharged me.

I know what people around me think, “it is JUST a dollar, and you got such a GREAT deal anyway – why do you care?” But to me, I enjoy seeing how much I can save, so when I get cheated or I spend too much, it kind of sucks the joy out of it.

Anyway, so I went back in, told the lady, and instead of giving me back the extra I paid ($1 plus tax), they just handed me a dollar, lol. I didn’t care much – it was what, 9 cents? But, still, I kind of thought that they should be more careful, because some folks would want their pennies returned, too.

Also, my SIL went to the one in Fort Oglethorpe a couple of a days ago and she tried to tell the cashier something that the cashier was incorrect about, and the cashier got really snippy and said, “YEAH, because you know more than I do, right?” Hahaha. Wow.

So this was my first week shopping at FL because I’ve always thought their prices were ridiculous. I had a whole list of things to get on the BOGO sale but some of the stuff wasn’t a good deal. My store didn’t have much of a variety of Crystal Light so I saved my coupons to use when Kroger puts it on sale. The charcoal did not include matchlight so I skipped that too. The chicken leg quarters which I thought would be an awesome deal turned out not to be BOGO at my store. There were a few other things I skipped because the price was so expensive that I could get it cheaper even without the BOGO sale. So I ended up with 5 packs of Kraft American cheese and 2 Kraft Mayos for a total of $5 and I got one of the $1 back from the Catalina but I doubt I will ever go back to Food Lion. I tend to stick to Kroger and HG Hill because they have the best prices for my area. Overall this week I saved 80% so I’m pretty happy with that. But just for the record my store scans half price on the BOGO items too.

I have a question about the Kool-Aid packets that are b1g1 @ $0.25. I have a coupon for “buy 10 get 2 free”…okay does that mean if i buy 10 i get bogo with that so its 20 and then i get 2 free so totalling 22 or is it i buy 5 and get bogo that way and i have purchased 10 and then 2 extras…you see my issue lol? Can someone help me out that is a usual shopper at Food Lion. I don't think mine doubles here. Thanks:)

Past experience with my FL is that all B1G1 items ring up half price. So if you buy 12, you'll be paying for 10 @ 1/2(.25) which is $1.25 + tax. hth

Shredded and Chunk cheese: 1.40 each, so 4 of them makes it 5.60

Sliced cheese: 1.20 each, so 2 of them makes 2.40

Cream cheese: 95cents each, so 4 makes 3.80

5.60+2.40+3.80= 11.80- 10 coupon= $1.80 plus pre coupon tax.

Just got back from FL. My Kraft coupon wouldn't scan. Not surprising because most of my printables don't scan there. But then, it still wouldn't take it after he entered it manually. They are going to have a long week if they can't figure out how to make these coupons work!

I had the same experience at my FL in Wilson, NC. I purchased 5 Kraft shredded cheese packages and presented my $5 Kraft coupon. It wouldn't scan and wouldn't accept manually either. They finally called the manager over, who proceeded to accuse me of committing coupon fraud because I was trying to use a coupon on an item that was already on sale. Those were her exact words! I asked if that meant I couldn't use a $1 coupon off Tide this week, so it was on sale too. She said “No, but when it's already on sale as much as the cheese, you can't expect to use a coupon on it too.” This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of!!!

I also had a hard time at a FL in NC. Was told I could only use one coupon per transaction (I only had two anyway). When I asked why, she just looked at me and said “because that is what I decided”. My coupon would not scan, but the manager used a key and it went through.

That is crazy. The Food Lion's around Greenville NC have coupon kiosk like CVS. You go in and print out coupons for that day when you scan your MVP card. They are pretty coupon friendly at the Food Lion stores I shop at. I think we have 6 and they are really good about accepting coupons. I do always wait to give them my MVP until last. I think that this helps. I think it all depends on the cashier.

I used two Kraft coupons in SC and they worked fine; however, the store has had a problem with fraudulent coupons, that is copies of these same internet coupons. Actually, there is an article in the Charleston paper today about coupon fraud and how people are using the same internet coupon more than once. There is a tracking code for some of these coupons – look near top right of coupon under expiration date. If a coupon is used once, then someone tries to use a copy of that same coupon, the store cannot get credit for the copied one. I am not saying that you or anyone else here is using copied coupons, but just wanted to let you know that stores have had problems with this.

My coupon came directly from my printer. I would rather pay 1.00 for the cheese at Publix then be embarassed and accused of fraud at FL. I just don't think my store is coupon friendly. The cashiers usually give a big sigh when I hand over a printable. Oh well.

I just got back from the Food Lion in South Congaree, SC and had a problem with printable coupons not scanning. I had some printables that scanned and some that wouldn't scan. The cashier wouldn't type them in, she said if a coupon doesn't scan they can't type it in, its against store policy to manually type it in. I asked for my coupons back. I told her that Publix and Bi-lo will type them in with no problem. I think there policy is rather ridiculous. I don't shop much at Food Lion, they aren't very friendly or helpful. I feel for you and I'm sorry that you had a problem as well.

Wanted to let everyone know that I was able to buy 30 packages of Kraft cheese (half American and half shredded). I did it in 3 transactions using two $5/5 each time. The total of 5 shredded and 5 American was $3.03. YEAH!

They did not question my coupons and they scanned fine.

My store in Mt. Pleasant north has peelies on the Nabisco vanilla wafers for free bananas. By the Chips Ahoy cookies, there is a $1.50/2 coupon tearpad you can combine with the BOG1 offer making then about $1.10 each. Look for Nabisco cookie display – mine had a tearpad for 3 coupons: $1/2 Nabisco cookies or crackers, B10G4 Koolaid, and $1/2 Kraft Deluxe mac and cheese. Quaker deal as well – buy 5 get $3 off next shopping order. Upcoming deal for 10/13 – 10/26: Buy 5 participating Kraft and save $5 at checkout.

Lots of great deals, but save a trip to c/s counter by ringing up your catalina deals separately. My store could only print one reward (at all) per transaction. Happy shopping!

Don't know if anyone has tried the Glade deal where you get $3 off your bill if you buy $8 worth. I didn't know until i got to the register the $8 is the regular price, not the MVP price. So technically you can buy the Plug Ins scented oil Lasting Impressions *the one with a warmer and 2 refills* regular price 8.99 and then receive the $1 off for MVP price and then there is a $3 coupon from 9/26 and then the $3 off your bill when you spend $8. Making it 1.99 plus tax. pretty good deal. Also, I did multiple $3 off when buy $8. Just can't do them in the same transaction. Just split them up in the check out line and say they are separate orders.

We received a B1G1 FREE Glade Refill Twin Pack in our last week's paper, so the total price after 1 B1G1, $1/1 (peelie, but I've seen it as a clipable coupon), and MVP savings was $.50 for each twin pack. Great deal! Check your binders for the B1G1 free coupon!

I usually don't go to FL, but thought I would give it a try for the Kraft deal. MISTAKE. The Food Lion down the street from Duke's East Campus in Durham, NC was awful–accused me of coupon fraud and wouldn't accept it. They pulled the Kraft coupon explanation from the front of the package and told me I needed to go to the Kraft website. When I explained that I already had and that was where the coupons came from, they still said it was probably a fraud and had to void all 10 Kraft items from my transaction. Didn't void one, so I had to make another trip into the store to get it taken care of after I looked over my receipt. Ugh.

I got it to work at the FL on Hillsborough Pike–the staff was much friendlier, but they still had to call a manager and manually override that and my other coupons as well. I don't have this problem at any other stores. It will take some kind of a deal to get me back to Food Lion.

I went to the Food Lion in Chapel Hill (right across the Durham line) this morning twice and they were very friendly, accepted my kraft coupon twice and every other coupon I had as well. My coupons scanned into their system fine as well. If you ever need to go to another Food Lion, the one on Weaver Dairy in CH is great.

I work at Food Lion. You need to let the cashier ring the items up, then scan your coupons, and then your MVP card. I tested this coupon on our registers and this is the only way it will work without an overrided from the customer service manager.

My mom just at the same problem in the Lexington, nC Store. She got so upset. I called back to tell them to go on Kraftcheese.com and they too could print the same coupon. The manager said that Kraft would had called them if there was a coupon out there like this. I even told the manager to go get a pack of slice cheese and pull off the blue coupons and read it.

Yes, like Kraft has the time to call every grocery store in AMERICA and inform them of their new coupon. Get real. Food Lion is small potatoes, anyway, so why would they even waste their time? Coupons are a service to the consumer and the store – the Kraft folks get zilch for them.

What did the manager do when you to him/her to go get the pack of cheese with the info. on it?

The only problems I have had with coupons at Food Lion is they will not take a Free IP coupon anymore…too much fraud…just like HT. And they will not stack their coupons and mfg coupons. That blows. Otherwise, everything works fine.

Is this the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese? When you go to their website, you have to play a game of spin the wheel. Once you reach 500 points you can click on the picture of the Mac and cheese that is to the right of the wheel. You can play the game as many times as you need to in order to get the coupon. I only had to play twice.

Yes, just got back from my Food Lion. I purchased 8 cases of Aquapods in one transaction since I had a rain check from last week for $1 each and they weren't going to let me do more than one transaction with it. The $3 catalina did print. I also did 4 glade candles in that transaction with the b1g1 coupons and got 2 $2 catalinas. So then I used those $7 worth of catalinas in my next order with charcoal, meat, and cheese. Pretty sweet deal there. I think Food Lion is my next new best grocery shopping place.

Went to the FL on Mallard Creek/Prosperity Church Rd in Charlotte. They accepted my 2 Kraft coupons. The coupon wouldn't go through so a manager had to come over and override it, although they had to check with the store manager first. After all the confusion with the Kraft coupon though the cashier forgot to scan my Kool Aid coupon. I didn't notice until I got home, so there was nothing I could do about it. Oh well, it was only 48 cents. 12 cents for kool-aid is still cheap.

So I ended up getting 4 shredded cheese, 4 cream cheese, 2 packs of cheese slice, 10 lb bag of potatoes, broccoli, a green pepper, 2 boxes of Nilla Waffers, and 14 packs of kool-aid for only 15.06!

I used a BOGO Q from 9/26 for the Glade 4 oz candles and for the premium room spray with a .74 Q for 1 room sprya to get 2 candles and 2 sprays for $2.43. I was also able to use the Kraft Q without any problems. I rarely shop at Food Lion but couldn't resist the deals this week!

They were approved at my Ladson, SC location after a few detailed stares at the cpns. However, I also mentioned that there is a shelf sign at the cheese saying to go to kraft to get a coupon and also some of the shreded karft packages had a kraft attached pull off that tells you to go to Kraft.com for your coupon. Don’t see how they could tell you no if kraft is telling you to go there and it is promoted in the store with a shelf sign (if it is in your store). Hope that helps.

My locally known (with friends at least) holiday cheeseball is made with cream cheese. I freeze the cheese and thaw a couple of days before making the cheese balls!

You can freeze cheese. Bagged cheese does great, block cheese tends to crumble after it's been thawed but still goes great in casseroles. I live in Manchester, TN and I just got back from my FL trip…..one of the best coupon trips to a grocery store yet for me. $95.57 worth for $14.34. I got 15 various Kraft cheese items (I had 3 Kraft coupons), 2 boxes Ritz crackers, 2 Maxwell House coffees, 2 boxes Ronzoni pasta, 2 boxes Trix cereal, 2 Glade scented oil plug in refills, a bag of onions, and a can of tomato paste. Not too shabby. They were very helpful even though they messed it up at the register. She didn't know that the Philly cream cheese was included in the Kraft coupon, so she just re-scanned everything and it came out right.

You might not even need to freeze it. The expiration dates are many months out (at least on what I bought today — Feb 2011 on the shreds and March on the singles.)

I freeze the singles and the children never complain about the taste. I have some that I just took out of the freezer and I just place it in the fridge the night before I need it and it is ready to go the next day.

I had no problems in Summerville on Central Ave. The register complained about the Kraft coupns, but the cashier just pushed buttons and fixed it without saying anything (except “stupid machine” to the register). The ad price for the Ronzoni was $2.58 (not 2.39), but she handed me back one .55 Ronzoni coupon and used a $1 off coupon she had at her station (it was a “blinkie”). So the Ronzoni was only .10 a box. I got 62.50 worth of stuff for $14.75. Everyone was nice, the store was clean and well stocked.

I read some of the comments this morning about the $5/5 Kraft coupon and wanted to share my experience today. I had to make a circle around town in running errands so decided to stop at 2 different FL's that I was passing to use 2 of the coupons at each (I know there is not a limit on the # of coupons, just felt more comfortable doing it that way since it was on my route). At the first store, I got 4 shredded, 2 chunk, 2 blocks, & 2 Breakstone sour creams. Of course, the coupons beeped (which I expected them to do). The cashier pushed the first one through with no problem, then started inspecting the items I was purchasing before she would do the 2nd one (I believe she was about to question whether the sour cream was included). Luckily, I had saved a copy of the bottom portion of the page from the coupon print which listed out all of the products that were included. Apparently she had earlier difficulties in determining what was and was not included because she asked me if she could keep my list. Since it was my only copy, I told her that I would like to keep it, but offered to let her copy the list. So, I waited while she wrote down the list of items included. Advice – If you still have the list it might be a good thing to have handy when using the coupons since it seems that they are beeping more than they are going through on their own.

So I was prepared for my stop at the 2nd FL with list in hand. I purchased 4 shredded cheeses, 4 sliced cheeses, & 2 cream cheese tubs. The cashier scanned both coupons and they went through without a beep and with no problem – I was pleasantly surprised – just not sure if it had anything to do with the combination of items I purchased or if that particular store just figured out how to fix the issue.

Not right now. It is a special promotion running from 10/13/10 – 10/26/10 for an instant $5 off if you buy 5 of the items listed. If you are lucky enough to have any of the Kraft coupons that will not be expired by then, you could use the coupon as an additional $5 off if you are purchasing the right items to matchup to both deals. I do have 2 of the Q's that expire on the 13th – just trying to decide if it would be worth saving them. If the cheese is not on sale at that time, I don't think it would be as cheap as it is this week with the B1G1 sale.

Just curious, has anyone bought the Buy 5 save $5 instantly products this week. The ad said limit 2 of any product, so I bought 2 capri sun, 2 Jiff, and 1 smuckers grape jelly. My $5 never came off my bill. I stopped back by there today, and a manager could not be found. I used coupons for the products, but still the only reason I bought them was because of the $5 off. Has anyone else had any luck with this?

I work at Food Lion. The $5 should have been taken off, look at the very bottom of your reciept or it may be somewhere with in it, but is should say free $5. If not they are having a pricing error and it would def. be worth making another trip to get it fixed. If they are unwilling to help make sure to contact the customer service number and they will either take care of it or make sure they contact the store and they will def fix it then. Hope this helps.

Hey Jenn, is it corporate policy to allow a FL coupon to be stacked with a manufacturer's coupon or are you only allowed one? Sometimes both will go through for me, and other times, it beeps. One mgr overrides and the other mgr tells me only one coupon per item. Do you know?

help I had a little problems at the FL today. One my mvp card did not scan (it's old) and as i was asking if the lady could punch in the numbers she kindly scanned another card. I said will that mess up with the Turkey dinner Ticket. She replied no. But then it would not take the coupon. Then another person said i could straighten it up at CS. OK is said. Also, Be careful on the Broccoli 1.99 each. the lady rang is up as pounds and i stopped her and said that is 5.43 for the bro. she state yes I said what about the 1.99ea B1G1. She said it will take care at the end. So when we cashed out and i paid the receipt did not print the bottom where it states coupons uesed what you paid or if you got the $5 off for the 5 items. So she was having a hard time. I said well I will go to CS and try to streighten it out.
At CS they gave me cash back on the Broccoli, Could not help with the $5 off for % items. Could not help with the Turkey. Did give me another MVP card. But now what do i do call corporate and see if they can help. I took my time. Oh and make sure when they write Rain checks that they put the price for each on the BIGI deal. They did not And i was tired of messing with them. Do you know the number. Friendly people but not too smart on the store programs or how to fix things.

I work at Food Lion and I am in CS. It really suprises me at how some of these people don't know anything. lol. First off with your turkey dinner, you have 7 more weeks if you don't want to have to worry about this. However you may call the customer service number (1-800-210-9569) explain what happened and they will credit your new card. Make sure that you ask them to udate your card so that the next credits will apply to your new card. Second, they can help with the 5/5, they are most likely having a pricing problem, be sure to double check your reciept and make sure you only purchased 2 of each of the items, if you got more it will not take off, if so then go back to the store and demand them to fix it, if they don't you can also contact the CS number about this also, they will either fix it or contact the store and they will def. fix it. Also corporate can pull up your reciept and send you a copy or the store can pull up your reciept and get you a copy, be sure to provide them with the date, time, and amount of purchase. I hope this helps, I know its long and may take some time, but I know your money is worth it.

Went to the Newberry,SC. Food Lion on Wilson road today and was told I could only use 1 $5/5 Kraft coupon. Supposedly they got an email stating that the site was allowing multiple prints. Went to the other Food Lion on Kendall road and they said they knew nothing of the email. Oh well.. still ended up with tons of cheese and I can go back tomorrow and get more.

The B1G1 ground chuck in Calhoun GA was $1.84/lb. They would only accept one of the $5/5 cheese Q's – said it was one per transaction. I bought 2 Jiff, 2 Smuckers (only grape or strawberry) & 1 Capri Sun – after coupons $4.07 and the register automatically took the $5 off so I had a money maker! Going back tomorrow to get more cheese and 99 cent Clorox bleach and hope to round up enough Q's to do the $5 deal again. :)

Food Lion is still running the promotion $3 off chicken when you buy one Kraft dressing and Shake-n-Bake. This can make for a good deal if you have coupons for the dressing and shake and bake and their chicken breasts are BOGO at Fayetteville, Ga store.

They let me use two kraft coupons today… I also found a coupon dispenser at the ronzoni and a tear pad of nabisco/craft products. Had a great day, spent 48 and saved 115! I think I need a bigger pantry. :)

At the FL in Goose Creek, SC (both of them), the Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta was on sale 5 for $5 (or $1 each). I had a few coupons from a magazine a few months ago for $1 off Ronzoni Smart Taste, making them FREE! Check your coupon stash!

The Food Lion in Greenwood, SC has a coupon machine like CVS & it gives out some good coupons. I got one yesterday for Breyers Ice Cream for $1.50 & it was on sale for $3.69 & .50 off 12pk of Food Lion drinks that were on sale for $2.50. I got 12 pks of kraft cheese, 2 pkgs of chip ahoy cookies,1 breyers ice cream, 1 12pk of food lion drinks, 2 – 2lt bottles of food lion drinks, & smuckers grape jelly for $14.45.

On my first trip to Food Lion this week, my sister-in-law and I discovered a better Glade deal (the twin pack refills come out to be $.50 each).

In our newspapers this past week (Chattanooga Times Free Press), there was a coupon for B1G1 FREE Glade Scented Oil Twin Pack Refill. We used 1 of these coupons, combined with a $1/1 Glade Scented Oil Twin Pack Refill (this was a peelie, but I've seen many similar coupons in past inserts). I also had a peelie that I saved from long ago where I received a free Glade Scented Oil Warmer with the purchase of a Glade Scented Oil Twin Pack Refill.

So here it goes (with MVP card):

$4.99 each = $10
- $3.00 MVP savings = $7
- B1G1 FREE Twin Pack Refill = $2
- $1/1 Twin Pack Refill = $1
Total = $1 for 2 Twin Pack Refills (4 total refills)

Also, as far as the charcoal goes, my store did not make me purchase separate packages of meat for each coupon. My meat department had a ton of meat marked down, so I used 5 charcoal coupons, and got 2 packs of ground chuck (it was B1G1 and then marked-down!!), and two whole chickens (marked-down). The $2.50 coupons made the chickens free, two of the $2.50 coupons were applied to 1 package of meat (the meat was worth $5, so that was free), and then I bought another package of meat. I just made sure my meat cost covered the cost of the coupons and it worked out fine.

Is anyone getting any FL specific coupon books at their store? I found a single 1 (not a 100 of the same coupon book, but 1 copy of 1 coupon book) at mine and haven't seen anything else from there in a month or two.

Some people posted about a Hebrew National coupon in a recent FL coupon book, but our stores never received that one.

I just got back from the FL in South Congaree. I decided to play out 2 orders, to get the 5 dollar off the next order situation. 2 boxes of Capri sun, 1 Jar of Jif Natural, 1 Smuckers Grape squeezie, 1 Smuckers Strawberry squeezie. I figured since each squeezie of Smuckers was 2/4 that there wouldnt be a difference in me getting 5 dollars off the next order.
Cashier rang everything up, no 5 off next printed, so we looked it up, she said it had to have been cause of the strawberry. I mentioned I was really counting on that coupon, could I swap. The manager interceded, allowed me to swap, and gave me 5 dollars off the awaiting next order. Everything was handled very friendly, and by the time it was complete and solved, I had maybe 10 ppl in line behind me. (embarrassed!)
Needless to say, if you're going for this, stick with the grape! at this location at least.

Yes, you are correct. But it still didn't come off the order, total was 9.64 (1.00 coupon also used). And honestly, there may be two reasons the 5 didn't come off, I got the Jif Natural, (which pictured is creamy and crunchy), and of course the strawberry squeezie. As for following rules, they were all the same price, I wasn't trying to get away with not following the rules.

My Food Lion (West Columbia) would NOT take my $5 off 5 from Kraft. That was at 5:30 pm. They were told by Corporate to not honor them as they were copies and they were losing money. I asked if I printed it in color would they accept it and she said no. UGH!!!!

My FL took mine. Back on the cheese in my store is the little peelies that have the info. on the inside. Take one of these up to them and show them this is where you got the coupon.

I hadn't read all the comments but read several. Not sure if anyone mentioned this but the bogo on aquapods also prints a 1.50 catalina (I think that is what its called I am still new at this) They ring up 1.40 each so in the end you get both packs for .90 :-) and I have done this three separate times so far. They are a great size for my two year old we just put one of those sport tops from another water bottle on top and it is great!

BOGO's ring at 1/2 price in Summerville FL anyway. (The bonus paks of ground round were priced at 1/2 price ($1.44/#) w/MVP card They had no issues with the $5/5 Kraft coupons. We stopped at FL once yesterday and twice today. In out no problems and plenty of stock. Only dissappointment was they were out of OM Bacon. I dont usually go to FL, but the experiences were all good. If they have a great sale, I will be back for it.

I am going to write a letter to FL regarding the Kraft coupons. None of the ones in the Columbia area are taking them now. I used one on Wednesday but today they will not take it. They even showed me the memo. That is just bad business but it just goes to show that a few bad apples spoil the bunch by making “copies”. The store says they are losing money but what they are really losing is business because now I will not be shopping there any longer. The only money they are losing is on the groceries not being purchased because they would get the money from the coupon back from the mfr if they would let you use it. I'll just stick to Publix since they are coupon friendly.

Target.com has $1 off produce and Kraft cheese. These are great to combine if your Food Lion accepts Target. Mine does is Fayetteville, Ga. They even take Aldi-the $5 off your order, but not Family Dollar nor Dollar General, as they do not consider them grocery stores.

This is the best FL trip I've made in quite some time. Using the above matchups, I got the following:

2 boxes Rice Krispies
2 18oz jars Jif peanut butter
2 grape squeeze Smuckers jelly
(these generated the $5 off, and it was off *this* order, not OYNO)
4 boxes Cap'n Crunch (plain, berry, and peanut butter)

I got all the way to the register at my regular FL and the manager said they didn't accept IPs, so I said thanks but no thanks… went home, printed the corporate coupon policy, and went to the other FL (same distance, opposite direction) where the manager knew the policy and followed it.

The Oscar Meyer Turkey bacon is not BOGO per the FL in Carolina Beach NC. Also, there was no printable coupon at the OM site for the turkey bacon, only hot dogs.

Be on the lookout for $1 peelie Q on top of the Planters BOGO peanuts. The $1 coupon is good off of one bag of Planters Almonds, which are also BOGO. So, I used a $1/2 on my peanuts which were BOGo, and then used the peelies off of each jar for 2 bags of almonds which were also BOGO. Stocked up on these. My FL had no prob taking the $5 cheese coupon. The $5 deal with the PB, Jelly and Capris comes off your order right then. Look at the ad closely, it states 5 off your order, not next order. The CSM pointed this out. Very please with my FL today!

Went shopping this morning at Food Lion in Columbia SC and was very disappointed. I rarely go into Food Lion because it seems that when the run specials they never have any when I get there. I don't know if they are purposely putting just a few of the sale items out or what. I was very upset when I got to the register with my 5 Kraft cheese products and the cashier told me that Food Lion is no longer accepting the $5 off 5 items. WHAT????? Also, the toilet paper and paper towel prices were two dollars more than what was listed on here. Not to worry though, they were out of both!

Food Lion offers rain checks. My Food Lion is always out of the meat on sale and I regularly get rain checks w/o a problem. Sorry they wouldn't take your coupon. Some of the prices are regional. I always check my ad for my area. My meat prices are usually different.

I just left a Columbia SC Food Lion – and they took 2 of my $5 off Kraft coupons. Also they had a full stock of other sale items. It is interesting how different stores will vary with products and coupon policies. I understand your frustration – I normaly find Walgreens to be a real pain to deal with – and will avoid them unless the deal is just to good to pass up. 9 times out of 10 I will have a variety of different problems upon check out! Keep your chin up!

What you should do is ask for a raincheck, they have to give you one. Also if it`s price higher get your paper and show them the price that`s on sale.

Which one? They took all four I had at Market & Kerr. The cashier did try to ask for a manager to override it, but another girl told her they were okay, and they had taken them earlier that day. They've been told to question coupons more than a certain amount, like $3 or more, or something like that. But she scanned them and it took them all, and she cancelled the supervisor request.

The FL in downtown Charleston needs to understand their own computer system and how coupons work. The customer service girl tried to tell me I would get all the cheese free with the 5off5 because the chesse was buy one get one and they would actually pay me money. She would not even consider I knew what I was talking about and that I could actually add and she couldn't. Oh well no biggie I dislike FL in general and I will stay with my Publix and super double and triple HT. Thanks, Jenny fro letting us know and we tried but some people think we are stealing from their stores I guess. Maybe you should go teach the stores a class on coupons!
