      no, laura. this product is a p&g product and your rr will not print if you use this rr on another p&g product. You can use this rr on any other deal, just as long as its not a p&g product.

      Sorta Renee. You earn $3 in walgreens rewards program. Keep you receipt and on your next transaction at walgreens you can use that $3 towards a purchase. The best thing to do is wait for another sale and use your points instead of your cash. It's like getting something for free

          This helped me too because I am new to Walgreens. I bought 6 papers today so can I do this deal 3 times and get the RR or is there a limit?

            You can, but don't try to use the RR from one deal on the same deal the next time. If you do, the RR won't print the second time. Pay $2 cash each time, and you'll get $5 RR each time. Then you can use the $15 RR on something else. :)

            There's almost always a limit. However, you could break your purchases up into multiple transactions to do the deal several times. Just don't try to pay for the second Sinex transaction with register rewards from the first. They don't “roll” so if you do that then the rewards won't print. Hope this makes sense!

            I did the deal 3 times, no problem. Today's insert didn't have the right coupon, but the 9/26 and 10/10 did.

    so happy that something worked for me today at walgreens. i had a “master plan” to use a lot of the coupons from today's PG (i bought 4 papers), but the courier journal (local paper in louisville, KY) didn't have the PG insert. we always get the PG inserts. i took my papers back to kroger and checked several other newspapers to see if they had the insert, but had no luck. i contacted the newspaper company, but i don't think they'll be any help. looks like i'll be without that insert :(

    I love moneymaker deals. But I don't need these Sinex products. Who can I donate medicines to? Do homeless shelters take them? Any suggestions on what to do with pharmacy items like this (or some Zegerid that was a mm several months ago)?

      I give all my extra 'free stuff' to a local women's violence shelter. Women and children are there, and they take everything! I've probably overloaded them with men's body wash lately!

      Wow. There were 11 when I was there at 5:30pm. I bought 6 and left 5. Did you try the Mauldin, SC Walgreens? It's only 10 minutes away from the Simpsonville one. If you have the P&G 10/10 you can also wait for them to restock this week. The Simpsonville Wags gets several trucks a week, so chances are they WILL get more in during this sale week. Sorry you were disappointed this time (I had to get rainchecks more times than I can count at Wags), but you may have another chance yet.

    Went to CVS to get my papers for the coupons and noticed that the Sunday edition was very thin for today. It only had the P&G book and nothing else. Thought that was odd but Jenny does say coupons books vary according to the city. Well, later after church, I stopped by Publix and noticed a paper sitting on a register and happened to look through it. It was thick and had all the adds plus three coupon books. Took my papers back to CVS, got my money back and bought them elsewhere. Has that happened to anyone else? It wasn't just my two papers, it was all of them at CVS and the 7/11 across the street, but Walmart and Publix just down the road had everything in them.

      some people will just take the coupon inserts out and not buy the papers so always looks before you buy!

      It happens to me a lot where I live in VA too. I always see what inserts are in that paper from Jenny's posts and stand there and MAKE sure they are in there. I try to pick from the bottom of the stack and look to see if they are disturbed too. Good luck next time.

      stuffs” the papers. Prob the same person did our CVS and the 7/11 across the street.

      MANY times I have purchased a paper that someone had already gone through and removed coupons. I now go to the gas station on the corner that leaves their's bundled except for one on top that is open. I have permission to break the next bundle and buy from that stack (since they cannot have been rifled through yet). Maybe see if you can find a place that leaves the bundle straps on and buy from them.

    Yay! I don't normally do Wags, but was out and about and was able to do this deal 3 times (and since they uncharacteristically had plenty in stock, there was still 5 left for someone else!) I'm so glad they had plenty, since I only had the 9/26 $4 coups that expire today. My overage was enough to pay for all of my Head & Shoulders shampoo (7 bottles, and again, they were so well stocked there were nearly 20 bottles left of various H&S!) The cashier was super friendly to me. I went to the one in Simpsonville, SC, right off 385 on Fairview Rd. I am so glad it went so well. Normally Wags is a fiasco for me. Oh, and they had TONS of Zarbees in stock too – probably 10 boxes.

    In the 10/10 P&G is a $1.50 off any vicks product. If you have only one of the 10/10 inserts (like me, oops!), you can use both the $4 off and the $1.50 off and still make $.50 profit. Not $3, but it's something.

    Wow, what an awesome deal! I was so bummed when I looked in my 10/31 insert and couldn't find the coupon, but then I read the comments below and found out it was in the 10/10 insert. For some reason I happened to buy 8 papers that week (I normally buy 6), so I could do the deal 4 times! (I went to two different stores and both stores were fully stocked on the Sinex.) I combined it with the Zarbees and Oral-B toothbrush deals this week and ended up getting $111 worth of stuff for only $4.41! AND I still have a $6 RR leftover. This deal ROCKS!       No. Not unless you have an unusually lenient store manager. In any case, Publix would not get reimbursed.

        RR are like coupons from the manufacturer (see their names on RR) and yes, Publix would get reimbursed if they accept them.

          I was told today by a Publix customer service rep , that Publix is NOT reimbursed for the RRs even tough it says manufacturer . She said it would go to Walgreens! Publix has to loss that money. They do it to keep our business. Publix has great deals. I hope all theses deals with RRs at Walgreens and $off 20 at Riteadid don!t shoot us in the foot one day.!!!!!!!don't lol!!!!!!!!!

      You can in the Savannah, GA, Publix stores. They accept competitor coupons (Walgreens RR's, CVS ECBucks, etc.

      Ask your store manager. All stores are different. When I started couponing I was relying on the advice of the blogs. Then I began to talk to store managers the more I shopped. Found out a ton. My publix will take all drug store Q's and RR. They won't take dollor general or other dollar store Q. My CVS will take Q's on the clearence items even though the UPC is marked through as long as the Q isn't more then the item. All of this I read as No on the blogs. Wished I would have asked sooner. The best way to know what all the stores that you shop at do, is to just ask.

    Is this an unadvertised deal? The walgreens that I went yesterday here in Fl did not include sinex as part of the 2/$10 deal.

      I am in FL also….my store (New Port Richey) did not have a sign, but it rang up at the sale price and I got the $5 RR

      My store did not show the Sinex as part of the deal and didn't even have the sale price (showed them as $7-something). But they rang up as $5 each and I got the RR.

        Unfortunately the sales tags, ads and register reward signs come from corporate and there are times that out of thousands of tags that are printed a few may not actually print. But like you found out, that doesn't mean the product is not on sale, just ask someone to check the price for you, it's simple and they don't mind at all. Plus if you go into the store on Sunday or Monday, the sign may not have been put up yet, it takes time.

      The walgreens i went to in Orlando, FL did include sinex. I dont know why ur store wouldnt its a Nyquil product! Try another store my coupons scanned just fine.There is not a yellow tag on it showing 2/10 but it works at the register.Good luck!!

        Thanks for the suggestion. However, the closet store is 30 miles in a direction that I seldom go. I shop this one (50 miles away) because it is close to somewhere else that I have to go every Monday. So, I only get one chance at any deal at Wags.

          Not sure where you are from but our Walgreen's will get a truck tomorrow (Wednesday) and then again on Thursday, Most of their products are on auto-reorder so that means the product has to be either 0 or 1 on hand (in most cases 0 on hand) before it will order it. So if your store was out there will be a good chance it will be on tomorrows truck. And no they can't issue a rain check for register rewards only sale prices. Their register rewards don't come from the store itself, that is why when you register reward doesn't print for some reason they can give you a form to print out and mail in with a copy of your receipt and the register reward will be mailed back to you.

      If they're out make sure you get a raincheck for the item and ask them how long they will honor it. Mine will take the raincheck for up to 60 days out from the date it was written. Sometimes it takes them that long to get restocked but I get the sale price with my coupon savings.

      This also saves you on gas. Call and see if they have it before you go.

      It does frustrate me a little when I see where people were able to do the deal numerous times and all I wanted was 2 boxes. Oh well, maybe next time. There'll be other deals.

    YEAH, I did the deal 2 times yesterday. I ended up with 3 transactions yesterday at Walgreens. Got 2 bottles Zarbeescough medicine, 2 daytime sinex, 2 nighttime sinex, 1 box nyquil, 1 box dayquil, 2 boxes powdered sugar, 2 pencils, a bag of cotton balls, 2 bags of ricola cough drops…$8.41 with $6, $5, $5 left to spend…may go back for one more dayquil, nyquil, cough drop run, with a couple small fillers today…Use $1.50 (2) vicks products, $1/2 ricola, $.50 ricola/walgreens, and $6 ECR and come out to just a bit over $1 and get $5 ECR back! I love being able to stock up on the cold meds. My family is already suffering from the weather change!

    $10.00 – $8.00 (2 $4.00 coupons) = $2.00 + $0.70 (tax) = $2.70 oop RR $5.00

    Transaction 2)

    Zarbees Cough Syrup (I did not have the $3.00 coupon; full price if I remember correctly was over $8.00)

    $5.99 – $5.00 (RR from transaction 1) = $0.99 + $0.42 = $1.41 oop RR $6.00

    Transaction 3)

    1 pack of Huggies diapers.

    $10.49 – $6.00 (RR from Transaction 2) = $4.00 – $2.00 (manufacture coupon) = $2.49 + $0.73 (tax) = $3.22 oop RR 0

    Total oop $7.33

    Full Price value $33.47 + tax

    Sale Price $26.48 + Tax
