Lately it seems that all I’m posting are more online shopping deals, and that is only going to increase. The number of stores offering free shipping and percentage off deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday is huge!

Since we are all about getting the deals and saving, I want you to not overlook the easiest way to save — getting cash back.

When you make any purchase online odds are that retailer is willing pay a percentage to the person that sent you there. You benefit by going through a cash back site to get most of that money back, rather than it going to someone else!!

Enter Ebates, they are one of the oldest and biggest cash back sites around. They are also the easiest to use in my opinion.

You sign up
Before you shop online, go to Ebates first and then click on the store you want to shop at. You still end up at the store’s normal website but going through Ebates first your order gets tracked.
You can still use coupon codes and other discounts when you check out .
After you make your purchases you get a percentage back into your “account” at ebates.
Every quarter if your balance is $5.01 + they send you a check.

Most stores give back between 3% and 5% some as high as 25%.

One more fun thing for today: Everyday they have one store that is a “daily double” that means instead of the normal 5% you get 10% cash back. Today, any orders for Sephora get double cashback… tomorrow’s site is one my new favorites… and black Friday… over 400 sites will be double cash back!!!

I joined Ebates earlier this year, but I’ve found that ShopAtHome (dot) com seems to give higher %s for cashback — not always, but usually. Anyway, I’ve been making some reasonable cashback (over $30 in a few months) on flights & hotel reservations we’ve had to make anyway, using Hotels.com for one, and Expedia for another. First, I find which travel site(s) gives the best price (via Kayak or Bing), and then if more than 1 site has the same best price, I find which one gives me the most cashback between EBates & ShopAtHome. Awesome!

I have to agree with many here: Amazon.com. I always go there to read the reviews and often end up buying there. It would be great to get an Ebate too! I wish that fandango and living social were on ebates. For those reading, join ebates, it's easy to do. Just don't forget to go into it first before buying online. It even allows promotion coupons for the website you're buying at. Enjoy! I sure have.

I am still wearing my maternity clothes from when I had my twins 2 years ago. Yes, you heard me right.
