vTech is a company known for its great children’s toys. They offer a variety of toys and specialize in interactive games for children that keep them learning, while playing. For the holidays they sent us the vTech MobiGo Touch Learning system to try out. I have to confess that I played with it and then promptly wrapped it to be a present for Christmas, so I don’t have any kids reviews for you. I can give you a good parent view though (which probably is more coherent and what you are looking for anyway).
The Vtech MobiGo features a “qwerty” keyboard, a 3″ touchscreen, and games that star your child’s favorite characters. They focus on developmental skills in areas from math and problem solving to creativity and memory. I like that they used a true “qwerty” keyboard, though I have no doubt this will baffle my girls who are used to everything in alphabetical order. This gives them an introduction into basic computer skills which is a requirement in today’s world! You can also plug the MobiGo into your computer (a cable is provided),to upload your child’s scores online and get awards or download extra content.
The main thing I love in playing this… each game and feature has a basic level and more advanced level. This makes it perfect for my two year old and five year olds. I’m excited that we finally have a toy that everyone can use rather than the little one just feeling incredibly left out.
This particular MobiGo comes with two games: “NASCAR The Champion’s Touch” and “Mr. Men, Little Miss: Adventures in Dillydale.” (ages 3-8)

This is something that I would pass along to my nephews children. I am proud to say that he is a 26 year old married Marine with 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls), who range in age from 2 to 7 years old. I have 8 kids ranging from 13 on down to almost 2 years old. Many of my kids will love this especially my Autistic son. He is 8 but his mind set is lower than that around 4 or 5 years old. My son loves the Vtech Mobigo!! We recently visted a target store and he spent almost 30 minutes on it and I had a hard time getting it out of his hands.
