I follow you on Facebook and here is my story: We had a foster child who is now 2. She moved to TN with her biological family and we only see her every other month or so when we drive up to see her. She is so precious to us. We gave her one of these for her birthday last year so she could hear our voices when she is not with us, but her family has moved several times and I think they've lost it. I would like for her to have another and looked at them this weekend. I've been hoping you would show a deal for them soon! Thanks for all you do!

Every time I grocery shop, I end up giving my printed shopping list to the person behind me in line because they stand with their mouths open and say “how'd you do that?” (After they have rolled their eyes when they see the pile of coupons come out . . . I would love to have my parents and my in-laws record a story for our girls. My husband and I are both the babies of four children and we were both born late in life to our parents. Our parents are nearing 80 years old and our children's ages range from 4 to 10 years. I would love to have their voices recorded in this way and I know that our girls would treasure them too. We recently moved back to SC to be close to family and allow our girls to have the relationships with their grandparents that we didn't really have with our own. I only had a grandfather alive and he passed away when I was in 8th grade. My husband didn't really know any of his grandparents, so encouraging the relationship between our girls and their g'parents has been a real blessing! Thanks for considering us!

My children have a set of great grandparents and two other great grandmothers I would love to record.
We would love to have our Nonny and Poppy's voice:)
The books wouldn't be for me, they would be for my kids. This year it would be neat for us to have the books to put my voice and my husbands voice on them due to us working nights until Christmas. We could be there with our kids in spirit while they are with Nana on Christmas eve
my husband reading to my twins. Being in the military and often deploying, that voice would be a soothing balm to troubled kiddos who miss their Papa.
I would love to record the grandparent's voice.

Grandparents would be nice to record.

My daughter would love to have one from her Grandpa in Az. He had a kidney transplant 13 years ago, and the kidey is starting to fail. He would have to wait about 3 years for a second one and the dr's say he probably would not make it. I know she would love to hear his voice over and over again.

We live many states away from both sets of Grandparents so it would be wonderful for my kids to be able to hear their voices. For the third book which would be “Night Before Christmas” I would love my husband to read it. He works a job that could cause him to work on Christmas eve and/or Christmas Day. It would be nice to have his voice reading to our children on that special night!
My father. My parents were divorced when I was young and we lived far apart. My father would always read to me from a book we both had a copy of. He would read and record it on cassette and send it to me. Of course after the years my mother threw them away but it is still a great memory, one I would love to give my kids.
I would love to record my 4 little kids and send it to my parents who live in romania, my dad never got to see them just yet

I would happily record these for my grandchildren. My husband has a recording of his father reading the Christmas story from the Holy Bible that we listen to every year. We had it transferred to a CD some years back & made copies for family members. This recording had gone undiscovered until several years after his passing. It was originally recorded in the late 1960s! It is a family treasure to us, and we would love to do these recordings for our grandchildren too.
I would like to record my voice for my grand children. When my boys were growing up, I read the Night Before Christmas EVERY Christmas Eve. It was a tradition that they loved. I miss doing it now that they are grown, but this would be a wonderful way to keep the tradition going even though my grandchildren live over an hour away now. I saw those books at Hallmark when I was using my $5 coupon this past weekend and wished I could afford to buy them and do this. I follow on facebook, twitter and daily email. Thanks! I hope the winner makes this a tradition as well.

Would love to have both my mom and dad do books for my children (we had children late in life, so my folks are both “getting up there”). Hmm.. all kidding aside, we all ought to be sure we're going “up there” once we're “outta here”. Don't know for certain? Spend some time in the book of Romans (half-way through the Bible's new testament).
It is really ironic that I just left my parents' house and told my 85 year-old father that I would love for him to record a Hallmark book for my brand new first grandbaby Parker! Dad is in declining health, and it breaks my heart to think he won't be around for many more Christmas celebrations. I would love to have these books for that purpose. Thanks for all you do, Jenny!
My husband is in the military and has been away at training for several months. A couple months ago, he sent our now 7 month old daughter a recorded book. I cried! We've already been talking about doing another one for her, so she can continue to learn his voice even though he's not been able to be around. You should see her face light up though when she hears his voice reading to her!

i would love to hear my Great Aunt Jus read any book to my daughter who is 2 and a half. She is my grandmother's sister, the only living sibling left out of 12 kids and the youngest of all at 89. SHe lives in Michigan and we are in Georgia. My daughter has only met her once. Mt grandma lived with me growing up and died when I was 16. My grandmother just passed away Monday, November 29. My mom and I wanted her to read one so we could all keep it. We knew her time was coming, but no one really thought it would be so soon. When he feels up to it, we're going to have my grandfather read, “My First Christmas,” so we'll have his voice. He's a wonderful man, with such a giving, loving heart. So we'll have his voice forever, too. Thanks for offering the opportunity.

This was actually my 8 year olds idea. She saw it on television and then asked if each of her grandmothers could record one. She paused and then got very silent and started to sob. We both started to cry. We just hugged and I consoled her and told her not to worry that her grandparents would be around for a lot longer. It was a day I will never forget.

Oh how I wish these were around in 1994. That was the last Christmas I spent with my daddy. I do have a Christmas ornament on my tree from 1994 and my children always say, “Mom, this is your special ornament, right?” He never got to meet my husband or children, but I speak of him often to my family, yet I would have loved to record his southern voice reading THE VERY FIRST CHRISTMAS. My uncle (my dad's oldest brother) reads the story from the Bible every Christmas as our family sits in a circle around the room. And for a moment, I feel like I hear my daddy reading me a story one last time! Merry Christmas & be thankful for all the simple & precious moments you have with your family!

Jenny, you’re not alone when it comes to being sappy. I started a family tradition when my boys where small. On Christmas Eve I would let my kids open one gift and it was always new PJ’s. After they put their new jammies on we would make hot coco with marshmallows, of course. Then I would read The Night Before Christmas. My boys are all grown up 27, 24 & 21 and moving on with their lives. My oldest lives in N.C. and I’m in FL. I have no grandchildren yet. I would love to record myself reading, that way when my boys start their families that the Family Tradition can continue if I’m there

I would love the storybooks as my husband and I have lost two grandmothers in the last year. There is only one left, and I think we – as well as our kids – would love to have a recording of her reading to us.

I would definitly have my mother in law read one of these stories for my children. She has had a very difficult year health wise due to a birth defect in her heart and every day is a gift from the Lord to have her here. Most recently, she actually had to be resesitated after being gone for almost 2 minutes. What an amazing gift for my children to be able able to hear their loving Nana read to them for years to come, long past she has returned to her savior!

We would record our kids voices reading the story and mail it to my two grandparents living in a nursing home together. My grandma now suffers from dementia and is quite the chatterbox, while my grandpa can't speak due to a stroke, but is very alert and aware. Even though he can't read to her, I would love for them both to read and hear the book together with their great-grandkids' voices!
Well of course grandma but grandpa would be great too. We are lucky to live next door to my grandparents (my kids great grandparents) and would also love to record their voice before they are gone.

It was a childhood tradition my husband speaks of every year and clearly it meant the world to him.
He wants to start this holiday tradition with his own son but loses patience in that his 3 year old boy only wants to play with his Dad not read any book at all !!!
This is very frustrating for my husband but I know in time our son will settle down and listen to his Dad read this story and he will grow to want the same for his own children. So how wonderful it would be to capture the original reader of the story for my husband to pass to his grandchildren when they come.
Nice to win this one, and for my husband to record his voice so his children can listen every night!

Just saw these advertised on TV for the first time. Thought it would be a great way for a soldier overseas to read his child or children a bedtime story or a grandparent whose grandchildren live in another state to read a bedtime story.
The two voices I would love to hear the most are my hubands “Nanny” and my “Mamaw”. But his Nanny is no longer with us anymore…. With my Mamaw now at 94 this would be a GREAT way for my boys to always remember her voice through the years. As we do not live close enough to visit a lot. Thank you!
