If you go to Bilo's website you can get a coupon for the challenge coupon for the Kraft BBQ sauce and a free southern home brand and the Kraft light ranch for a free southern home brand ranch, in addition to this deal you can also find a coupon in the Sunday paper from 5/22 for $1.00 off of two Kraft salad dressings. Lawry's Marinades were the last Challenge coupon and they are still valid until 5/29 but no longer available to print. Currently they are BIGI free; if you have this, the catalina coupon from last week and the $1.00 off two in the 5/22 paper and the 50 cent off 1 from last weeks Sunday paper; you get two marinades for $1.04 plus the free southern home marinade.

I noticed in this week's ad for the fuelperks, it says “one reward per order.” Can anyone tell me what that means? In the past, the ads have stated “one reward per day”. Has that changed? Can I now buy 6 ragus and get 20 cents in fuelperks in one transaction? Need some clarification. Thanks!

Their policy doesn't state how many printable's may be used, but they allow up to 10 like coupons per transaction. I would think this would apply to this as well since nothing is stated in policy. I have used more than 2 printables @ mine with no troubles.. Hope this helps. : ) Good luck~~

Is there a limit to how many coupons will be doubled? Harris teeter and lowes only double up to 20 I didnt see that in your policy. I have never shopped at bi lo but I plan to soon. thanks

No, I was told that they don't have a limit on the amount that doubles. The only limit is just 20 like coupons.

I use printables and half of them are used along with the coupons that are in the newspaper on sunday. I don't buy more than 2 papers each sunday and if I need any extra I print them out. Most of the websites will let you print out 2 of each coupon as long as there available.

i have 2 bi-lo stores nearby. 1 store only carries the expensive Springer Mountain boneless skinless chicken breast, but it does go on sale from time to time. The other store carries lesser expensive items like Springer Mountain drumsticks (6 in a pack) for around $3….i have tons of those in my freezer.

Anyone else having trouble with the Ball Park Buns coupon? I tried to print in Firefox and it would try to connect to my printer but never would, then it said I had already printed the coupon when it never printed. Then I tried on IE and it showed the page that said “Thank You for printing”…but it never printed either. Now I have no coupon and it wont let me try again. So aggravating!!!

The Bi-Lo double coupon policy says that the double coupon value cannot exceed the price of the item. Does anyone know if they will adjust the value ofthe coupon down to the value of the item? Example I bought muellers noodles for .97 and handed the lady a 1.00 coupon. It would not scan and she would not let me use it. I shop at the Bi-Lo in sumter sc.

The register should automatically reduce the coupon so it will not give you overage. With it being only 3 cents it usually just gives you the overage with no problems. It probably had nothing to do with the amount of the coupon, pretty much ALL Muellers beep no matter what. She should of fixed it to take off the .97cents. I think she either didn't know how to do it or just didn't want to. Sorry this happened to you, I hope you didn't pay for it anyway with out a Q.. Try it again & if it beeps tell them Muellers always beep just like Ortega Q's. Also tell her since it is overage to adjust the Q to .97 cents. Good luck :D

It usually requires a manager override to take a coupon that's more than the value of the item. I've never had bi-lo give me overage like Publix will. They usually reduce the value of the coupon to match the item price. Same goes with doubling. If you are buying something that's $0.79 and have a $0.50 coupon instead of doubling to a $1 it will only double up to $0.79.

The Kraft food and family magazine was free for a while now you have to have a subscription to the magazine ($13.98 per year) And I think you only get like 5 per year but if you want it go to kraftrecipes.com and click on kraft food and family subscription

My Bi-lo doubles all MF coupons up to $0.60 except for the ones that says “Do Not Double” at the top. It could depend on the individual store's policy. I would check out their written policy or call corporate for clarification.

I have a question~ I have a catalina for Bi-Lo for $4 of next purchase of $40 or more…I'm going for a lot of bogo items. My question is this- is my total going to be the total if the items were NOT bogo…or since they are bogo, is the total going to be cut in half? (essentially?) For example, if I buy 4 packs of paper towels that are $10 a piece but are on sale bogo, is that enough to use my $4 off of $40 q or do I need to buy 8 in order for that to apply?

I would say you would need to buy 8. Because at Bilo, if it's bogo, it rings up half price. But it definitely would apply before coupons :) I've only been able to get 1 of these $ off $$ coupons and that was because the person in front of me didn't want the coupons and the cashier gave them to me. And it was a 2.50 off of 30.00. So I don't have a lot of experience using these, this would just be my guess.

Well, I thought things rang up half price at bogo, but it actually rings up full price, then breaks it down to cheaper…my last receipt had SUBTOTAL BEFORE SAVINGS at the bottom, and that total was actually using the normal prices, BEFORE bogo. Then it had YOUR SAVINGS, then SUBTOTAL AFTER SAVINGS. If so, then my scenario would work, I THINK…..not sure though!

Go to the u-scan area. Scan all of your items, then the $4/40 coupon then your other coupons then go back and scan your card. I did this last week with a $3/10 frozen food items with the meal deal.

I usually compare the weekly circular with Jenny's list to make sure all the sales items are the same and to see if there are other items I am interested in. If it is shown in your weekly circular than it should be available in the store. If not I would question a manager about it.

Yeah I was wondering about that to, I thought it was just the paper I got. So I just went to bilo to do some shopping and boy did I walk out with a huge smile on my face. I purchased 4 bottles of sweet baby rays bbq sauce, 4 bottles of frenchs worcestershire sauce, 4 packages of ball park franks hotdog buns, 2 bottles of kens marinade and 1bag of Ore-Ida's sweet potato fries. Price after Q's $1.96! I <3 saving money :) and these are all perfect items to stock up on for memorial day weekend!

Ok! I have been trying to get an understanding of this couponing thing. I just went on my first CVS coupon trip. End result I spent $103.62 out of pocket, saved $91.87, and got $20.99 in ECB. Can someone tell me if this was a good trip or if I am way off?

That really depends on the items you purchased, I think. One good advice Southern Savers gives for new couponers is to start small at CVS until you really get the hang of things. I started couponing at grocery stores and did not go into CVS until recently. Reading the posts under CVS on this site has helped me a lot; now I can shop there confidently and get good deals. All this said, please do not think I am trying to discourage you. Just hold on to your great amount of ECBs until next add and plan your scenarios before you go. Happy savings!

In the Columbia area, they double up to .60 cents. I think in Charlotte, they double up to .99 cents. Your best bet is to call your local store and ask a bookkeeper or manager.

thats not true.. Bi-lo does not have a limit on how many coupons they will double per transaction. They will only double 10 like couples per transactions. Meaning if you purchased 11 of the same items, they will double 10 of your coupons but # 11 will be entered at face value of the coupon… Hope this help you.

I've been couponing for almost 3 weeks now. Even with some of the noobie mistakes I've made, like forgetting my shopping list, I'm amazed at how much I've already saved.

Back from BiLo. I did stray from my list slightly, but only for things on sale and only 3 times. I got more apple juice than I planned because my husband and son love it and that was a good price on the Seneca. I found beef stir fry with veggies for $1.80 in the meat dept.(that's for dinner today), I found small lunchable wraps for .50 each too. I alloted myself $100 half my normal bi-weekly grocery expense. I ended up spending $72 and saving an amazing $111. The cashier was wonderful and she was so shocked at how much I had saved. I also ended up with 2 catalinas, 1 for a free head of lettuce and 1 for $1.50 any toilet paper purchase.

It might not be worthy of a reality show but I am pretty proud of myself.

depends on the amount. my bi-lo only doubles up to .60cents. If you look at the bottom of your receipt it will show extra coupon savings. That is the doubled amount. On the register it should show up right after they scan the coupon.

I just got home and looked at my receipt; three of my .55 coupons didn't double. They didn't say do not double, so they should have. If I take the receipt back in, will they give me the $ back? Still got a good deal anyway, but that's almost $2 more!

Noticed yesterday that when I checked out at Bi-Lo (Charleston), the cashier had not given me the discount for the two bags I brought with me. I asked her and she took off the .10 and told me to be sure and ask for it each time because they were told NOT to give the bag discount unless the customer specifically asked for it. Not sure if this policy is store-specific but just in case be sure to ask at your stores each time you check out.

The Dole fruit cup parfait and gels were 2/4.00 at my store in lancaster sc. Use the .75/1 coupon from back in April and you get it for .50. Also hefty trash bags were 4.99 use .55/1 from April 3.89 not cheap but better if you need them for cookouts.

The sause is normally 2.49. Its buy one get one now so 1.24. Then you use the coupon in last sunday's paper for $1.00/2. You have to buy 2, but then they are .74 cents each. I think they are .69c each at Publix this coming sale week, if you're gonna be there anyway.

it can happen on certain items. to give you an example last week they had bogo on mullers pasta and i had a 1.00 off coupon but the original price for the pasta was 97 cents before bi-lo savings card. so if you have the cashier ring everything up what happens is that the manager will come over and do an override and give you full value for the coupon which was 1.00. but hard to say if that is happening at all stores. The 2 i go to in columbia did it but i don't know about other places.

My Bi-Lo in Taylors, SC does not apply overages. I used the bogo mueller's with coupons, and what the manager did was just apply it for the price of the 2, so i still got them free but i lost out on a few cents extra.

I bought eggs today that were on sale for .88 and had a .55 coupon when you bought kikkoman and they doubled up to 1.10. I don't know if their system changed when they remodeled or not but I am not complaining.

I am a little confused with the coupon savings up ti .60. If I have a .75 coupon, how do they take off? Do they take the 1.20 then .15 for the remainder of the coupon, or do they just take the .60 cents off that's it?

They double coupons up to 60 cents. So if you have a 60 cent coupon it would double to 1.20. If you use a 75 cent coupon then they will only take off 75 cents.

I'm confused about what you all are saying. The BiLo add says they doubles coupons up to .99 cents. Have I always been misinformed when I have used those .75 cent coupons?

Some Bilos do double up to 99 cents. You will have to check your coupon policy at the Bilo you shop at.

No they would just take .75 cent total. They only double if the total value of the coupon is .60 or less…Meaning they will double a .25 q to .50, .30 q to .60, .40 q to .80, .50q to 1.00 and .60q to 1.20…and those in between. if the coupon is .65, you will only get .65 off.
So if you have an item that costs 1.50 and you have a .50 off of 1 coupon, you get it for .50.
if you have a 1.50 item and .60 off 1 coupon, you get the item for .30….
if you have a 1.50 item and .65 off 1 coupon, you get the item for .85.
Does that make sense?

Ok 2 questions, I went to my local Bi-Lo in Ga nad they have stopped doubling Manf Coupons that are printed online. Is anyone else having that problem? Also my Bi-lo doesnt have the Rubbermaid with easy find lids, is that a regional thing?

Just got back from small trip to Chatsworth Bi-Lo. Watch what you are charged for some stuff.

SH split chicken breasts were 89cents/lb (instead of 99cents/lb as shown in the flyer I got in the mail). I caught that my chicken rang up as $6.07 instead of $5.46, so that was corrected.

Eggs were supposed to be 88 cents/dozen, but they rang up regular price of $1.39 (didn't catch that until I got home – drat!)

There was also a sign at the door about a “Rib Event” that starts at 10am on Sat and maybe goes thru Sun, but I didn't ask since I wouldn't be going back that soon.

You can get the price difference at customer service. Just bring your receipt.

Try Safari. I had to download the safari bowser, and for some reason – it allows me to print, whereas IE or other browsers don't. I think it has to do with your security settings.

I called the number on the back of my Kroger card and asked how to get the coupons in the mail. They said that it is based on your buying habits at Kroger, so I guess I dont buy enough at Kroger because I never get the coupons.

I live in SC and this is only my third week of using coupons. This week I was able to get the following deals:
4 jars of Ragu sauce (on sale for 2 for $3)
mfg coupon for .60 cents off when you buy two (which doubled to $1.20 off)
final price: .90 cents each
Plus: an extra ten cents in fuel perks when you purchase three jars! =)

2 50pk Hefty plates (on sale buy one get one free)
mfg coupon for .55 cents off when you buy two (which doubled to 1.10 off)
final price: .94 cents each

The grape and orange Sunkist 2 Liters are on sale 10 for $10 and on each bottle is a 55 cent off peelie. This bilo will double them up to the price of the item which makes the soda FREE!

I went to the bi-lo in west columbia and they had soleil razors on sale for 3.99. used (4) $3.00 off coupons, so they were only 99c each…The coupons expired on 6/12….in SS 4/17…awesome stockup item…

I'm new @ couponing and I went to Bi-Lo last Saturday w/ my mom (I'm only 12!!! :D) on my first trip ever w/ coupons and saved $17.30…! I was so excited! One week later I already have a folder filled to the brim w/ coupons! All of my friends think I'm crazy but that's okay because it's so worth it! It gives you such a rush! Hopefully soon I will be up to Extreme Couponing status and saving hundreds! LOL!

where I live, they do not throw out the old newspapers, or even sale them for a discount! But, that means that you can go to the newspaper place and buy back issues for the last few weeks to get your stock pile. Try dumpster diving, if you feel adventurous! I have done that a few times, and had hit and miss luck, and a lot of bruises!(and weird looks) The best and most certain way, is to get a good discount subscription to your paper, if you live in a area with multiple paper options, check out the difference in the inserts, because they will vary. The other thing, is the subscriptions are the first to get their inserts.

So for Memorial Day, my family and I are grilling some steaks and chicken. We needed marinades for both. I went to Bi-Lo and they had Lawry marinades buy one, get one free. They were originally $3.14. I needed two so it would've been $6.18 for two. I then had a coupon for 50c that doubled to one dollar. So I paid $2.14 for two bottles of marinade that would've been $6.18…YAY! I'm 12 years old btw, my family loves my new obsession w/ coupons! :D

Bi-lo when they have a bogo free sale each item will ring up half price then if you use a bogo free coupon this is how it works at mine. Example— salad dressing is on sale for bogof reg-3.00 each sale price would be 1.50 each use your bogo coupon that saves you another 1.50. So you pay 1.50 for 2. Hope this helps. This is not what is sometimes called a bogof. Example if riteaid has a bogof sale one item will ring up 3.00 the other will be o.oo that is a true bogof

Go to the page link for the peter pan peanut butter when the page comes up type in code 74575328 on the left where it asks. That was the code I used last night. It sounds like alot but it lets you print 10 coupons for the pb. You actually get to choose between several products, the pb was the best deal for me. I also bought 10 jars tonight for .79 each it will come in great for bible school and other summer fun. I hope this helps :D

Thank you so much I thought I was loosing my mind. Now to get together a list I got the Propel yesterday that was so fun I had 150 coupons so that was 300 bottles and got them for 3.59 when I was done with coupons. going to donate them to the flood and tornado victims to help out.

Did you have to pre order to get that many? We love Propel I need to find coupons for alot of them. I get maybe 10 or 20 but my kids go through them so fast sometimes I don't even get 1. Do you mind my asking how you got so many? I do 10 inserts weekly and it would make me insane to think about that many. lol

At my Bi-Lo the French's Worcestershire sauce was BOGO at $1.49, I used the $.75/both and got them for free! I also used the $.50 on the Heinz at $1.99 and got them for $.99/bottle (40 oz).
