      I used it yesterday at Walmart and they did have a section at my store for $1 cards! I got 4 of them free!!

    checked yesterday at my Walmart (central ohio) and they only carry Hallmark or division of Hallmark cards. Gonna try somewhere else.

        I used this coupon at Bi-Lo today. My 10 y/o spotted a hanging display with Bi-Lo AG card store coupons that I paired with it: $1 off 2. There were also $3 and $5 off higher quantities.

    If you can find the $1.29 cards at Rite Aid, you can use this coupon, buy 3 and get $3 UP back making it a money maker.  We only had the $.99 ones though.  :-(

    It was a money maker thru 6/11 at Rite Aid. I bought 6 cards totaling less than $14. I used three $2 American Greeting coupons and received $6 +Ups. If the deal's still active this week, it's a money maker.

    There is a coupon on Target.com for $1 off when you buy 3 cards. So if you buy 6 cards and use 2 target coupons and use 3 America Greeting coupons, you will get a total of $8 off. COuld be a money maker if you can find cards for 1.29

    Off excludes cards .99 or less – I've only seen cards for .99 not 1.00 – so u would have to buy the more expensive cards ——  but still a good deal for Fathers Day.

    Wal-Mart only sells Hallmark cards, not American Greetings.

    I just bought a $1 American Greeting Card at Walmart for my son's b-day. I don't know about Father's Day cards, but there were plenty of $1 cards.

    Walmarts in the Houston area do not sell American Greetings cards – only Hallmark.

    Just got back from Wal-Mart. There system would not scan the coupon, so they deny me. On my way to Publix. Never a problem with Publix in Tyrone, Ga

    WalMart in Cordele, GA has the $1.00 cards but the system would not accept the coupon. Had to get a manager to override.

    Target in Cool Springs, TN doesn't have any for $1.29. They had $0.99 and then the next cheapest were $2.59.

    The only coupon I saw was $1 off if you buy 3 cards. Don't see the $2 off 2 cards coupon.

    My Walmart did have American Greetings cards for $1 each, so I should've been able to do this deal. However, the register wouldn't take the coupon, so a manager came over and said that the fine print states that it should take $1 off the purchase price. So, they gave me heck about it and finally “let me have” the $1 off of 2 cards, not $2 off of 2 cards. I got totally ripped off, and there's nothing I can do about it. Meanwhile, the line is backing up and everyone is giving me a dirty look.
    I've been cutting back on my couponing for this reason, and I'm considering giving up completely. I spend a lot of time making sure I follow all the rules and read the fine print, etc, but lately every trip has turned into a confrontation with the cashier or the manager. Even Publix and CVS, previously the most coupon-friendly, have been giving me trouble recently. And this is on simple, straight forward items. Not like I'm trying to use a coupon on a lower-priced item that it doesn't cover, or anything like that. It's just like they WANT to deny every coupon.
    I know I'm preaching to the choir here. I am just so frustrated.

      Hey, I have had the the same kind of experiences.  I was feeling very frustrated too.  I find that the type of cashier can make a huge difference.  A male cashier is usually much less emotional and will get the job done.  I find elderly ladies often make a lot of mistakes and get confused.  I avoid young blonde  girls with ponytails. Sounds silly, but try it…

      I know how you feel. I especially hate using coupons at Walmart because they always act like you are trying to get away with something. Thank god my Bi-lo and Riteaid are coupon friendly.

    I just used 4 of them at WalMart on $1 cards.  I had to do 4 seperate transactions and paid 14 cents on each transaction for tax!  As some of you have said…the computer would not scan the coupon, I too had to get a manager to over ride….

    I just came from WalMart in Stockbridge, GA and had trouble using the coupons. The computer was saying didn't match.  Thank goodness I had a very nice cashier. She took them off for me.

    Wal-Mart in Americus would not accept… they called the Mgr and her comment was you can't use them if comptuer won't accept.  Needless to say, I let them keep their cards. :(

    Walmart in Wilmington (Monkey Junction) does not carry America Greetings, just Hallmark. Went to $ store and paid $.50 for the ones I needed now.

      Well, I just looked up American Greetings' website, and Carlton falls under their brand too. I just looked at the coupon again and Carlton is on the coupon. My Target is listed as a carrier on their website. Ugh…I'll go back tomorrow….

    I found a Target coupon on their website for $1 off WYB 3 cards.
    So I printed two of those and three $2/2 American Greeting Card Coupons
    If I buy 6 cards @ $1.29 and use the 3 manufacturer and 2 store coupons I should make a $0.26 profit!

    Although our local WalMart does not carry American Greetings, I tried the coupon at Harris Teeter.  I did not find any 1.00 cards on the rack, but I did purchase two birhtday cards for 1.99 each and I got two Father's Day cards that I need for this weekend, I was more particular on the choices for these cards and spent more on them by choice.  However, our Harris Teeter is offering a free 2 pack of stainless steel water bottles with the purchase of four cards.  They retail for $14.99~plus with two coupons I saved $4.00 more!

    Went to Walmart yesterday and they had a row of $1 AG cards. I got 10 of them. Took manager 10 min to saw it was ok to use it but it worked. She said the computer beeps even for the $3 cards.

    my walmart did not carry a single American Greeting card.!  was very surprised.  I brought two hallmarks to  make sure and the cashier took the Q anyway.  very nice of him
