  • SC = Store Coupon
  • MC = Manufacturer Coupon
  • SS = Smart Source
  • RP = Red Plum
  • PG = Proctor and Gamble
Coupon Terms
  • WYB = When You Buy
  • B1G1 = Buy One Get One Free
  • .75/1 = 75 cents off one item
  • .75/3 = 75 cents off three items

This Sunday there will be NO coupon inserts in the Sunday paper.

While this may leave some of us bummed out, take advantage of the holiday weekend to rest, relax, and enjoy your family!

And don’t worry, I promise the coupons will be back soon :).

(You can always print coupons if you are feeling down).

    I live in Royal Palm Beach and I got 2 inserts today. But I noticed that it has the coupons that I was supposed to get last week. Maybe we are a week behind?

    I just started getting the paper delivered to my house.  Before, I would pick them up at the store.  Does anyone hold their paper for a week on the weeks that there are no coupons?  I think they would just add a paper onto the end of the current subscription right?  Any thoughts?

      Yes, they will!  Just call and put your paper on vacation hold and ask to extend your subscription!  :)

        I just put my paper on hold for this weekend. They credit my account for one weekend. :)

    Good! I need a break after reorganizing my coupons. I had to switch to the binder method  this week  and the binder is already bursting at the seams. Guess I need to use some. LOL!

    I live in Virginia Beach and my newspaper didn’t have any inserts this past Sunday.  Did anyone else in the area get coupons?  I am wondering if mine were taken out before I received my paper.  Does this mean that I won’t get any inserts two weeks in a row?   Boooooo!

      They put the inserts in Saturdays paper due to hurricane Irene.

        Seriously?  The Hurricane was HERE on Saturday.  I didn’t even know I got a paper that day.  That stinks :(

    Good, I’m a little wore out. It doesn’t help that my BFF is also couponing and I’m a little competitive and I always wanted to see who can save more. This week will be our break.

    Aww man! And I was just getting started!  Your site it the absolute best I have come across.  I didn’t think I could ever coupon shop and make it worth it.  It seemed like to much work.  You do all the work and we just have to check your site!  I was able to get 10 papers this past Sundy from a local gas station before they threw them away. Spent Monday cutting and organizing my plan, went out for the 1st time yesterday and by the end of my trip, was in love….with coupons! :)  $175 worth of items for $40 and all at CVS, Walgreens and Kroger.  Thank YOU so MUCH!  My family needed to find this! I couldn’t have figured it out myself. You made it easy. THANKS!

    So all these people feeling “withdrawals” need to get a life! I love couponing too and it is how I feed my family but there is more to life ya know! One week without coupons?! Big deal! Take a break and spend time with your husbands/children/friends instead of your binders. This is an unhealthy obsession for some. Withdrawals? Really? Lol

        I know I’m sure some of them are….I only say that because I actually knowreally people who are obsessed with couponing personally. So it wouldn’t surprise me if some actually were devastated! Lol

          Then attack the ones you know personally not the people on here,who probably put it as a joke. I think you made some people feel bad. Not me,because I knew they were joking. I wouldn’t have minded coupons this weekend ,but I’m a stay at home mom who does who shopping and couponing when hubby’s at work ,one son is at work ,and the other is at school. This is one bad thing that show has put out that most of us are like those people on there(exception the dj,he didn’t seem like the others),they made it seem like all of us are coupon crazed ,buying items we won’t use. These people were doing it for the show,because I think half of those people didn’t get all the stuff in there house free ,I think the show made up there stockpiles,because there is no way they got diapers,swiffer kits for free or next to nothing. Only things I have gotten free it toothpaste and toothbrushes,which I have given away to friends ,other family,and kept some for mine. I like couponing because as a stay at home mom,I feel like I am contributing finacially to my family ,by not having to spend as much…..

      I think it was just a joke,so don’t worry 99% of us got it,I guess your part of the 1% who didn’t. I love coupons to, and like most who posted on here,never have it take away from our families, we do it to give back something to our families. Money saved for an outing or a small vacation. And a little less stress worrying if payday is short ,and knowing there is extra “food” when times are a little harder.

    I view couponing as my “second job” since it does take time away from family.  (My paycheck is saving so much money at the grocery store.)  No coupon weeekends are like vacations!  Looking forward to it!

    Pretty funny story on my local news last night.  They were talking about all the newspapers that are getting stolen so people can get extra coupons.  That’s pathetic.  Our Sunday edition is $2.  It’s really sad.  On the bright side, everyone should be able to read their papers this week.

      so excited to see more couponers !! You can always go to your near by recycle bins and dig thru them! my bins almost always have at least 2 inserts from previous weeks!! =)

    Did anyone have unused SS inserts from last week? I received none in my 2 Asheville papers, and the paper mailed me extra Redplum and P&G inserts…would like to swap for 8/28 SS, just leave your email if you’re interested- thanks!

    I almost had a heart attack when I went to the stores and found out there were no coupons. I even went on the newspaper’s facebook page demanding answers! lol!!

    I forgot to check this out before I bought a paper. Needless to say I was really bummed  that I spent my only $2.00 in my wallet for nothing. That will teach me not to check this out beforehand. Thanks for your hard work in keeping us informed. My fault for not checking my resourses. Have a great weekend.
