Wow, I think I posted this under the wrong name as that is my situation exactly!! I have to say I absolutely love Publix as they are very customer and coupon friendly. I did a big shopping trip today and saw the Lysol trigger spray on sale B1G1. I used the $1/1 coupon from a recent insert, but the cashier said it could only be used for the can spray as pictured on the coupon. Since the sign on the shelf used the word ‘disinfectant spray’ I told her I thought she was wrong. She asked the manager and she said to use it, so I had 6 sprays for .35 each. Anyway, I have never had any problem at Publix that wasn’t handled in a positive manner.

Actually, she’s right in this case. Lysol trigger sprays are a completely different product from the disinfectant sprays and they always put out different coupons for these two products.

you pick up the sale ad at the front of the store…in the ad will be the coupon for the 10.00 off of a gas card purchase. Then go find the display with the gas cards. I usually can purchase 2 per person…so then I would need to get 50.00 worth of groceries …since you need 25.00 per gas card. This is an awesome deal ….but make sure you put your gas cards in a safe place or it is like losing 50.00

You buy at least $25 worth of groceries and a $50 gas card from the selction they have there and ten dollars will come off your current total, if you have the coupon which is in the ad.

Mine said you could only buy one at a time.

My store is 1 card per $25 increment, up to 4 cards per transaction. But, every store sets their own guideline in this area. (and if they know you, it may be more) Just ask Customer Service. Maybe you can get more!! hth!

Yesterday I went to Publix and got the deal on the Dr. Pepper 10. When I checked out I was buying 4but coilnt find one of the coupons. I put one back and she rang up 3. Well then I found it and was going to wait because they were busy. Then I noticed the coupon had expired the day before. This wonderful cashier said well it took the other ones with no problem. So the bag boy had already put it up the 4th one and she had him go get it and she rang it up. Why is this store so very nice to couponers and others are not. Maybe Publix should train other stores on how to be nice to couponers!

the bake set promo is still going on…it has been extended till the end of nov… hubby even called the 800 number and they confirmed it… you have to purchase 25 dollars in p and g products in the same transaction.. there has been a lot of debate about which stores are participating.. i have already received my bake set… and love love love it… i made my purchase at publix.. and just sent in a post card with my name address etc along with the recipt and the products circled.. you can google p and g pink bake set to find the products that are considered participating and the address…. i cant wait till next year..

This depends on who stocks Dr P in your area. For example, here in Middle Tennessee, it is stocked by Coke, so it is a Coke product, but in Atlanta, it is stocked by Pepsi, so is considered a Pepsi product.

So this will only work if you are in an area where Coke stocks Dr P.

Just a suggestion, check to see if anyone is keeping up the differences in YOUR paper by checking out Jenny’s weekly “regional variations” on the inserts. You may be able to find someone is already updating the list. Then you can print one out for each week’s ads and put that list with your inserts so you are not searching when it comes time to clip. Make sense?

they price adjusted my coupon to match the price of the pasta. i do not think they should have done that because they are getting credit for the 1.75. just one way they get back at us for using coupons.

I think that we should be happy and grateful for walking away with a free product, not trying to make money on the deal. (I know that this is not necessariy a popular statement, but we must sometimes ask ourselves about coupon ethics on what to expect from stores and companies that put out these coupons.)

Sometimes they adjust it, sometimes they don’t. I have a the I can’t believe it’s not butter coupon for free bread. Used it at Kroger and bought the 10/$10 bread and $2 came off at the register. I ended up getting the butter I had to buy for $0.19 a piece. But that didn’t happen that way for everyone. PLUS it helped my cashier wasn’t paying very good attention.

My Publix in Fairview, TN is always nice when having to handle a handful of cpns and I’m especially thankful for their patience when the printed internet cpns don’t scan properly. When using your cpns, remember……you represent all of us. We represent each other. Keep a good attitude & don’t let a few mistakes or misunderstandings with the store make you think they’re ‘out to get us’. We can be a pain in the butt with all our many coupons and squablings, but please be patient and try to build a good relationship with your stores.

My Publix’s competitors are Kroger, Ingles, and Target. And they took the $3 off $30 Publix coupon and a $5 off $50 Kroger coupon in the same order. Make sure you give them that coupon first and you should be good. :)

Another successful Publix trip.. gotta love the 40% off of groceries BEFORE coupons ($10 off of every $25 you spend thanks to the gas card promo).. $350 of gas cards and $176 of groceries (before coupons) for $397 after coupons. Not bad for kind of an off week deal wise. Now we are set for gas for a few months (hopefully until the next gas card promo :) )

She (or he…not being biased… can’t tell by name :) was able to get 1 $50.00 card for every $25.00 increment in groceries spent. $176 in groceries allowed for up to 7 gas cards. Equaling $350.00 in gas cards! hth!!

They can use it up to 6 mos after the expiration date.

my understanding is that expired coupons can be used 6 months past expiration ate printed on the coupon at commissaries in foreign countries, but not the commissaries inside the U.S.

That’s right. Only in foreign countries. My sister is retired Navy and still shops at the commissary in Charleston, SC. I asked once and the lady working there said they were only good for soldiers/families stationed overseas. Great that the mfgs give them the opportunity to use them though. Great support for our military!

You can call a local church… I know ours in Cape Coral sends them to soldiers! Then you won’t have to pay postage :)

$25.00 purchase before coupons; make sure the gas card coupon in the flyer at the store entrance is the first one you give the cashier. It is a $50.00 gas card for $40.00 for any station you choose from the cards they have on hand

Also, you can do more than one gas card in a single transaction. For example, if you bought $100 worth of groceries, you can technically add 4 separate gas cards for an additional $200. Yeah, it sounds like a lot, but when you think of the fact that you are getting $40 in free gas that you would have to be buying anyway, it is a real money saver in the long-run.

Buy $25 worth of groceries and take one of the BP or Shell $50 gift cards off the gift card kiosk when you check out. Just give the cashier the gas coupon out of the sales flyer like you normally would any other coupon. It will show up on your receipt like a $10 off coupon.

I’d like to have the Hispanic coupon book AND the new one that Publix has out. My store is usually great about having them, but not these 2. I have 2 Publix stores within 3 miles of my home and neither had either book. : ( If you call their 800 number,they may send you ONE if they still have them.

The total is $25 before coupons, but the BOGOs don’t count as two. If it’s $2 for one item normally, and you purchase 2 items for $2, it’s just counted as the register as $2, not $4 toward the $25. HTH

HEADS UP: There are 2 TGI Friday’s coupons on the Target website. One is for entree and the other for snacks. Not sure which will work with what is on sale, but that coupon stacked with the listed mfg. coupon, brings the total per package down to $1.19 per package. Not a bad deal for snacks.

I used the $1/1 TGIF snacks Target Q at Publix along with the $2/2 MQ for chicken snacks for a great deal. Then I used the $1/1 TGIF entree Target Q at Target along with the $1/1 MQ for entrees, or there is a $1/2 MQ on the Wounded Warrior site, to get a deal there. They have the fajitas at $1.99 then B3G1 free. We love these!

curious as to how you did this? I had so much trouble with the AJC that I finally cancelled it all together. I tried to have 4 papers delivered, which they insisted had to be 4 separate accounts, which caused all kinds of trouble in billing and delivery. Out of 6 wks, they only managed to actually deliver all 4 papers on one Sunday – usually I received 0-3 papers and had to call every week. The only positive thing was that they did not charge me for all of the missed papers, but they never did get the price below what I was able to buy them for as a double bundle in the store ($3). The whole system is so ridiculous – why in the world can’t we just buy the inserts directly from either the paper or the printers? There has got to be a huge market for this now.

Our Publix had $1 off coupons on Wisk laundry detergent in the store. I wasn’t able to print the fb coupon, so I was excited to still be able to have a coupon for it. I needed laundry detergent this week! Hope that helps anybody else planning to shop between now and December 2nd!

I don’t understand how the 4C Panko/bread crumbs would only be $.29. If they are $1.29 on sale and the coupon in $1.00/2 then wouldn’t that be $.79?

Jenny posts the best possible price if there are two or more coupon options listed.In this case, if you were able to get a can with the .50 coupon on it, then in stores that double coupons, you’d get $1 off. You are right in your calculations if you only have the $1/2 cans coupon.
