There is nothing like getting a huge discount on a gift certificate to an already discounted store! Head to Tippr.com (a daily deal site) where they have a $20 credit to Overstock for $10 today. If you are new to Tippr, you’ll also get a $5 credit to use toward your first deal, making the certificate just $5!

To Get the Best Deal:

You have through April 21, 2012 to use the voucher and it excludes Books, Music, Movies, Games, &  Electronics and items in Cars, Travel, Insurance, and Gold Redemption.

    I signed up as a new customer but it is not showing a $5 credit.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Maybe I didn’t complete something correctly??  Hmmmm…..

    Also noticed Overstock.com has a banner for “free shipping on your first order”… seems to exclude a few categories(intl, movies, books, music, games), but no minimum purchase! Makes this an even better deal. :) (I hate paying shipping!!)

        This is what it says when you sign up…”We’ll give your friends $5 just for joining Tippr…and then give you $5 when they purchase their first deal!” – I guess you don’t get it unless a friend makes a purchase. Boo!

          That’s not correct. You need to go through her link she provides (so she gets a credit as well), then send it to a friend…..then look in your account and you will see that it credits you $5, in which it will let you use on the deal.

          Okay…I may have misunderstood that. I invited a friend and did a test run by adding the overstock thing to my cart. It shows the $5 credit. I guess they give you ANOTHER $5 whenthey purchase something. My bad Tammy.

    I didn’t see a $5.00 credit either until I check under the “my account” tab and it showed there. When I checked out it did apply to the price.

    Yeah, when you log back in after creating an account, click the My Account tab and it will show a $5 credit.  I got it for $5!  YAY!

    After you sign up at Tippr, go to “your account” link and you will see the credit. Then do your purchase, and you will ONLY be charged $5 for the $20 voucher. That is how it worked for me.

      the fine print says you cannot use credits toward this deal. how did you get the voucher for $5? would love to know so i can do the same. thanks!

    Amy is correct…the first link doesn’t give you the $5 credit.  MAKE SURE TO USE THE 2ND LINK    tipprlink  !!!!   I went back and created another account with a different email and then my $5 credit showed up.  Whew….what a lot of work for 5 bucks!!  LOL!  Love the deal though!!  :)

    I just completed this deal! Paid $5! Use your email, rather than signing up through Facebook, to be sure you get your $5 credit. Can’t wait for the voucher to arrive so I can make a purchase on overstock!

    The “fine print” on this offer says that credits cannot be used on this offer.  I’m not sure how some people are able to use their credits and others are not.  The credit is not showing up for me. You might need to edit your post to reflect this.  Maybe they just made the change in fine print when they saw everyone trying to use the credit for this deal.

    I signed up as a new customer, see the $5 credit in my account, but when I click on purchase, it does not deduct the $5 credit from the total.  Looks like it would still charge me $10.  Does the credit show up after you click purchase after putting in your credit card info?

      I did the same thing…the fine print says that you cannot use credits toward this deal

    They are still giving the $5 credit BUT you can no longer use it on this deal. :-(

    I just e-mailed customer service and in the fine print it states that you cannot combine the 2 deals.

    What my email says, is you will get the $5 credit after your first 
    purchase. So looks like you now need to 
    purchase before you get the free money.

    Jenny, You are good but you gotta read the fine print on some of these deals.  It says you cannot use credits to purchase the Overstock voucher.  I signed up and got all excited and sent my friends invitations to join……only to find out the deal is not as you stated.

    Hmmm..it applied the credit to my order but I haven’t even received this certificate in my email to use yet. I don’t know what’s going on with it. I’m going to stop doing these deals cause half the time they never work out.

    I got this yesterday and it DID take off my $5, so I only paid $5 for my voucher… I’m pretty sure they changed the “fine print” later in the day when they realized a lot of people were going to be buying it. You can not blame her for them changing the “fine print”…Think of it this way, we would have never known about it if she didnt post it. $5 or $10 its still a GREAT deal!
