Babies R Us coupon

For those of you wanting to upgrade your baby equipment, Babies R Us is having a fun trade-in event you might want to attend.

From January 27th-February 20th you can take in all your old baby stuff and trade it in for a 25% off coupon to use that day for your upgrade.

You can take in as many items as you want and you aren’t restricted on what you can upgrade. For instance, you can trade in a car seat and then buy a high chair with your coupon.

You can use your coupon on Britax, Chicco, Carter’s and more name brand products!

This includes Car Seats, Strollers, Travel Systems, High Chairs, Play Yards, Bassinets, Walkers, Infant Swings, Bouncers, Entertainers, Cribs or Toddler Beds.

    i did this when i was expecting and i didnt have anything trade but i went to a few yard sales and bought cheap items condition didnt matter and it can be umbrella strollers which are real cheap.  i was buying big items so spending a little on the items at the yard sales and getting 25% off the item i wanted still saved me a lot.  you could also ask friends for their unwanted or expired car seats. i also opened a account with them to stack 10% more on the 25%.  i had the money so i paid the balance when i got the bill and closed it.

    if you know someone with children, ask if they have an old car seat in the attic that is expired (5+yrs old) and ask if you can have it to recycle and get your q!  this is helpful for first time parents!  this is a really great deal, not to mention a great way to recycle old and unsafe baby stuff.

    I usually avoid Toys R Us because I think they are overpriced.  But if they do the $5 diaper thing anytime soon my husband will just have to be late to work that day cause I don’t want to miss it again!

    This promotion is also valid at all Toys’R'us stores as well because they can order most any item they do not carry. All trade-ins are destroyed. They DO NOT resell them or donate them to charity.

    I honestly would rather them destroy them then turn around and donate them to charity.  The whole point of this, and they say this right on their website, is to help get as much recalled and expired baby gear out of the “population’ and update people on newer safety features, etc. =)

    Does anyone know if a booster seat is considered a car seat?  I have one that is just the bottom for older kids.
