i did 1 transaction with 5 packs of diapers and still got my fuelperks.. it depends on the store and sometimes just the system they are running, i would check with the manager before you checkout to be sure though

if you use the huggies coupon from the publix yellow advantage add or the huggies coupon from the walgreens coupon booklet for the month of february in addition with the $2 off manufacturer coupon, you will only pay $4.50 a pack of huggies. i got 5 packs last week and spent barely over $20 for them.. good buy if you ask me!

I have used Publix and Dollar General $5 off of $25 or $30 coupons at Bi-Lo. After scan my bi-lo card and ring up my items, I make sure that is the first coupon I give them. They usually set it to the side with the other competitor coupons and ring up the manufacturer first. That’s OK as long as they know my total was over $25 or $30 before they took off coupons. I will say that as long as the coupon language doesn’t specify “after coupons” you should be OK with using that one first.
Bi-Lo does not double competitor coupons.

I am glad to see your post. I marked the Quaker bars ecoupon late last night (or was it 1 a.m.?) and went back into Bilo.com to mark the rest added this morning (after 6 a.m.). I also printed out the list this morning. If it were not for your post I would not have noticed the Quaker bars ecoupon has been removed from my list. It is no longer there. Hum….I am having trouble with my ecoupons staying activated. Two are “save this” every time I go on the site. I save them again and they are unactivated when I check back.

Does anyone have the $ off a 3lb bag of yellow onions ecoupon saved still? It expires 2/23/12 so I know many may have used it already. I went to Bi-Lo last week with the Dixie Crystals coupon printout that said Imperial on it. Two individuals at Bi-Lo stated, “Coupon Fraud.” Thanks for the embarassment. I saw it stated Imperial on it, but I trusted more in your link than what the printed out coupon said. Another example was buying Kotex tampons using Kotex U coupons. The pictured coupon wasn’t showing Kotex tampons but it somehow went thru. I trusted what southnsavers said to use rather than what the coupon was saying and showing. In the future what should I be doing, because these are two conflicting situations. It’s embarassing to have the Bi-Lo manager state, “that’s coupon fraud.” Sheesh. I also recognize human error and that Southern Savers isn’t perfect. I’m grateful for this site as always. I just hope I never face another situation where a store employee mentions “coupon fraud” when there rejecting my coupon purchase.

Dixie Crystal had 2 sets of coupons on their site, one for the Dixie Crystal and one for the Imperial. There were many posts on here last week of people being confused as to how to get the right one and numerous answers were given. This site is a tool to help us gather the coupons that may match and it is up to us to do a little work and make sure the coupon actually matches the sales. The coupons that are listed are pulled from a database of coupons and may not work, it’s up to us to check. I guess just chalk this up to a learning experience and before you go to the store, check your coupons to make sure they match.

Dixie is made by Imperial. I have had no problem using that coupon before. If it is like the one that I had it had a bunch of products listed. You can see the dixie crystals and on the side of the dixie sugar bag it says imperial.

Like others below me said, there was 2 coupons for the sugar.. One was for imperial and one was for Dixie Crystals (although both are made by the same company). There was some confusion on how to get the right coupon, but if you had read the comments you would see that others explained how to get the CORRECT coupon.

Often at times, the coupons that Jenny lists do not match and there are multiples reasons why. First of all, if you have been couponing for a while, I am sure you know what coupons are REGIONAL. So while my insert may say 1.00/1 kotex product, yours may say 1.00/1 kotex U product. There is NO way Jenny can keep up with ALL the coupons floating out there. Also, there is no way Jenny knows if Kotex U is included in the sale. A lot of times you will see what she puts (if included) next to something to let you know that this specification may or may not be included in the sale.

Ultimately, Jenny does her best to lead us in the direction of using the correct coupon. I am sure she does not have the time in the day to check every little thing. It is up to US to check the coupons that we have and see if they match up to the sale. I personally would have known right away that the imperial coupon wasn’t meant for the sugar (unless it mentioned it or had it pictured). It is not Jenny’s responsibility to do every little bit of work for us.. her site is merely a guide.

I shopped on Thursday at Bilo using the Family Dollar $5 coupon and they accepted it just this one time. They read me the policy sent by corp. (I politely requested to know what they are allowing now) and it excludes Family Dollar and Dollar General coupons. Your store may still allow these, but since this came from corp. please be aware of this change. It affected my OOP which is really tight right now. I would have changed my purchases if I had known.

I have seen many posts below that mention the Family Dollar and Dollar General store coupons for $5 off a total purchase. Please check with your local Bilo and see if they are still allowing these coupons. They read me their new corp. policy on accepting coupons and these two stores’ coupons are no longer accepted.

Their list is very long for acceptable so we can appreciate those stores being included. Mostly local competitor store coupons, so if you don’t have Harris Teeter, ect., located in your city, they probably won’t be accepted.

I wanted to post this as some of us are on very tight budgets and expecting a discount we don’t get will greatly affect our purchasing decisions.

i went by my bi-lo today in ga and they now accept the dg and fd five dollar off coupons. i asked about publix,kroger,food lion, and target they said yes we now take those too! the closest one of those stores is like fifty miles away. i made sure to ask the store manager and he said yes they do take them. he also said that all the cashiers know to take them too. lol i said that was going to be my next question. lol i am so happy now!! i got the buy one get one free cereal for .44 cents a box with my coupons!!! woo hoo! my bi-lo is just becoming more coupon friendly. and no i don’t work for bi-lo either just a real happy customer.

According to Bilo’s new policy and in Charlotte they no longer accept DG
and FD coupons. I would definitely ask customer service first. I was
also told that in Charlotte Bilo’s corporate sent a change that they are
changing their doubling policy. They will only be doubling coupons up
to $.60.

If anyone is looking to do the $10 WYB (3) rebate on Centrum (Pfizer) RP 1/29 exp. 2/29 and have both Bi-Lo and Harris Teeter near by have saved at the appropriate ecoupons to their cards here is what I did.

Bi-Lo has Centrum Pro-Nutrients Fruit and Veggie 50ct on sale for $8.79 this week. There are $5 off mfg. coupons in RP 1/1 exp. 2/26 and RP 2/19. If you saved the Centrum Pro-Nutrient $5 off ecoupon and $1 off any Centrum ecoupon to your Bi-Lo card. You can get 2 bottles as follows:2(8.79) – 2($5) mfg coupons – 1($5) ecoupon – 1($1) ecoupon = $1.58 for 2

Harris Teeter has the Centrum Pro-Nutrients Fruit and Veggie for $11.29.
If you have saved the same ecoupons, Centrum Pro-Nutrient $5 off ecoupon and $1 off any Centrum ecoupon to your Vic card and have a third mfg. coupon for $5 off Centrum Pro-Nutrients from RP either 1/1 or 2/19. You can do the following:

1(11.29) – 1($5) mfg. coupon – 1($5) off ecoupon – 1($1) ecoupon = $.29 for 1

You now have your 3 items for the rebate.
The 2 ecoupons ($5 and $1) came off at both stores without any issues, in fact I was only counting in the $5 off ecoupons and was surprised at the one for $1 coming off also. The $1 came off at both stores with no problems.

Southern Savers I LOVE YOU!!! I went to BiLo today and it was 98.26 before savings and I walked out paying 54.01. A full time student/ single mom I am able to stretch my money. A customer at Bi-Lo gave my husband a 10% off your entire Bi-Lo purchase coupon at the register tonight. He thanked her, but didn’t ask any questions. Does anyone know where I could get more of those?

Why settle for 10%? BI-LO’s new coupon policy effective 2/21/12 states they accept CVS coupons and they often issue 20% off coupons. I’m sure this will not last long. I’m not sure who makes these decisions in Mauldin, but I’m sure they do not seek consumer/couponers input. Talk about opportunity for abuse.
BI-LO Coupon Acceptance Guidelines

1. Coupons must be presented at the beginning of the transaction along with your BONUSCARD.
2. Manufacturer and store coupons will only be redeemed on or before expiration date.
3. One manufacturer and one store coupon can be redeemed per item.
4. Items must be purchased in the size, variety and quantity as specified on the coupon.
5. All restrictions and/or limits printed on coupons will be enforced.
6. Limit of ten (10) coupons on like items are eligible to double.
Remaining coupons on like items will be  redeemed at face value and will
not be doubled.
7. Manufacturer coupons with a value of 60¢ or less will double, unless otherwise posted  at store level.
8. Double coupon redemption applies only to manufacturer coupons. BI-LO and competitor store coupons will not be doubled.
9. FREE manufacturer or store coupons will not be doubled.
10. Electronic coupons will not be doubled.
11. The total coupon value, including the doubled amount, must not
exceed the price of the item. No cash back will be given nor will cash
back be applied to gift card purchases.
12. Coupons on alcohol or tobacco products will not be doubled.
13. Coupons will not be doubled when restricted by manufacturer or where prohibited by law.
14. Only valid, scanable Internet coupons will be redeemed.
15. Only original coupons, no copies, will be accepted.
16. BI-LO will redeem local competitor coupons, both manufacturer and store, on identical items that we sell.
17. Local competitors are defined as Ingles, Publix, Food Lion, Kroger, Harris Teeter, Piggly Wiggly, Lowes, Sav-a-Lot, Aldi, IGA, Reid’s, The Fresh Market, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Kmart, and WalMart.
18. BI-LO will accept up to 10 competitor coupons, one coupon per like item, per transaction.
19. BI-LO reserves the right to accept, decline or limit the use of coupons.
20. BI-LO reserves the right to modify coupon guidelines.

The competitor coupon must be on an identical item they sell. They are not suppose to accept % off coupons, or “save $5 on $25″ etc. You may find a store that will, but don’t be surprised if they don’t.

The ones I shop in Anderson County take the $5 off $30 Publix coupons. They had taken the Dollar General and Family Dollar $5 off 25 until this week..

They didn’t! In fact, I had a tough time getting Fred’s to take it. Neither the cashier nor 2 managers had ever seen it or heard about it. But at least Fred’s did take it. I needed to get some stuff from there anyway.

I just went to bi-lo and bought 4 v8 splash worth 10 dollars.I had 2 $2 off coupons($1 off 2). plus u can load the .49 ecoupon off site.when i got my receipt it printed off a $2.50 coupon compliments of V8 splash off your next purchase at bi-lo!!!!!

Keep an eye out for Close Outs! There was a rack set up in the deli section of one of the Bi-los in Spartanburg today that had boxes of Chicken and Tuna helper marked down to $0.99 a box. I had the $0.80 of 3 boxes ecoupon loaded on my card plus 2 $0.75 off 3 boxes coupons. I bought 6 boxes of the whole grain wheat lemon and herb chicken for $2.84 total! That’s like buy one get 5 FREE! The boxes rung up $1.99 but then a $1 off for each box showed up as “Markdown Dept 10″ at the bottom of the receipt where all the coupons print.

I would like to send a thank you to the Coupon Fairy who visited in Publix. She gave me a $3 off of $10 frozen food purchase coupon from Bi-Lo. She said it was mailed to her. It took my $80+ bill from Publix down to $16 and change. Woo Hoo!!

I hope better Fuelperks next week. We’re gluten free and I’m the only one who will eat tuna and I only had one Q for the cat food. I really liked the one a few weeks ago when you got 10 cents off when you bought a large salad and a Coke. That was our lunch for several days.

Last week the Main Street Bistros all had .55/1 peelies on them, making them less than $2.50 each. We had some last night and they were really good! The are pretty high cal and high fat though but great for a quick and easy dinner.
