top 6 online survey companies

Are you looking to make a little extra money?  Taking online surveys can be an easy way to earn some play money without ever leaving the house (or the couch for that matter).  You won’t get rich off surveys, but you can make $5-$10 a month from some companies.

Want to get started earning?  Here’s my list of top survey sites.

Top 6 Online Survey Companies

1. Pinecone Research

This is the best of the best in survey companies. The tricky part with Pinecone Research though is that they are selective and try to maintain an even mix of users. This means they won’t always be looking for your demographic. If you are denied just wait a few months and you may find the next time you try they are looking for ya.

2. Media Insiders

This is one program that isn’t so much about surveys. Media Insiders does send an occasional survey, but mostly you’ll earn by downloading their app on you mobile or tablet device. You can forget the app is their and you’ll earn $5 every month. You can earn up to $15 by putting the app on up to 3 devices.

3. Paid Viewpoints

PaidViewpoints
This is one program that takes their job seriously. Paid Viewpoints are strict on one account per person so much that you have to verify your account by email and a phone number (don’t worry they won’t use it). You’ll also get $1.01 just for registering. Surveys can seem slow at times, but they are very good at paying and when they do come pay well. When you have $15 earned you can get it out through PayPal.

4. BzzAgent

logo_bzzagent
This is a unique program that is more about product testing than money. BzzAgent will send you campaigns to do that can have payment or just offer a free product. One cool part of the program is that you can link your Kroger (or Kroger affiliate store) card to the system. You’ll get special campaigns for in-store shopping and even coupons!

5.  Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost has tons of surveys and a very low payout of $5 for Amazon gift cards or $10 for PayPal deposits. The only downside with this company is that you may find you don’t qualify for many of the surveys.  Just keep opening them and seeing though…

6. Inbox Dollars

Earn money for checking your email for surveys. With Inbox Dollars you’ll get $5 just for registering, however it will take $30 to get the money out. They do have a number of offers, but it tends to take a good 4-6 months to get to the $30 payment.

Do you have any other survey companies you like?

    • Carol

I have used Pinecone and love it – easy!
I also have used Opinion Outpost but not as easy to earn points.

    • Koi

Surveyspot and Toluna are two that I used. For me it seems to take a while to build up points. I use Pinecone and love it. Opinion outpost is my favorite though. Yes, sometimes you don’t qualify for any surveys but then there are days where you do. The product testing is always fun.

I love Pinecone! I tried signing up for Inbox dollars and you “earn” your money signing up for other survey companies. I don’t want to belong to a thousand companies! It just didn’t feel right… hope this helps when trying to decide which company to use.

Opinion Outpost used to be great but there is no prescreening since they merged or were bought out– I’ve deleted them now. Pinecone is great.

    • 3isenuf

I’ve been a member of JDPowerPanel for about a year and a half and earned over $100. Cash out is at $25 and their surveys pay pretty well.

    • Stephanie Lincecum

Signed up for Paid Viewpoint, and I’ll give Pinecone another look since others have said they like it. E-Poll is pretty good. Sometimes it takes a while to get points. I did just get $30 in my PayPal account, though, so I can say it works!

I love Pinecone, dislike Opinion Outpost because of all the screeners. I just signed up for Media Insiders and Paid Viewpoints.
Oh and I like BzzAgent, I get a lot of freebies through them.
