carpet cleaner

Having potty training issue with a furry friend? Accidents happen and it can be a challenge to lift the scents and stains! You could buy a carpet cleaner, but there is no need to spend a fortune, so here’s a recipe to try.

Grab a spray bottle from the dollar store. Mix in a tablespoon of baking soda and about a half a cup of peroxide and fill with hot water to ensure it dissolves. Spray this on the stain and let sit. It’s like magic and you can use it on laundry stains too!

If you have white vinegar and Dawn soap in the house, you can fill the squirt bottle with 1 part of each. Spray this on the stain and wait 10 minutes! The smell and stain should be gone for a fraction of the cost of a store bought cleaner.

Note: Be sure to test this on a small area of your carpet first.

Thanks, Kayla!
