3 Freezer Breakfast Meals

It’s hard to believe that we’ve been talking about freezer cooking for a month!  Ready to hear the winner??  (Drum roll, please….)

I have one last tip for you:  freezer breakfasts.

Our family is always rushing out the door and I love to have something on hand that I can thaw and have ready to go in the morning.  Here are some quick breakfasts you can make, pop them in the freezer and be good to go.  All of the recipes are very adaptable to what ingredients you like.

Egg Muffins:

Mix up all of the ingredients you want (like a breakfast casserole) in a big bowl, grease a muffin tin, bake them for about 30 minutes, let them cool and throw them in the freezer for next time you run out of breakfast.

I like to use:

Eggs
Hashbrowns
Cheddar Cheese
Bacon
Spinach

Breakfast Croissants:

Fry an egg white and cook either bacon or sausage.  Cut the croissant in half and stack the egg, meat and cheese between the bread.  Individually wrap the croissants in wax paper or plastic bags.  I wrap mine in a paper towel to defrost, then wrap it in tin foil and bake for 20 minutes so it’s crispy.

I like to use:

Egg Whites
Bacon
American Cheese
Croissant

Breakfast Burritos:

Scramble eggs, brown the sausage, make the burrito like you normally would, roll them and individually wrap them in aluminum foil.  Pull them out as you need them and cook them in the oven.  Top them with whatever salsa you want.

I like to use:

Eggs
Ground Sausage
Onions
Bell Peppers
Spinach
Flour Tortilla
Cheddar Cheese
