We grow up hearing our parents tell us all kinds of things to keep healthy eyes.  Just writing this I can already hear my mom saying, “You need better light than that to read your book,” “Don’t sit so close to the TV,” “Eat your carrots!”  It used to just be a little annoying to me, but now I find myself saying some of the same things to my girls.

Now that I’m grown up and don’t really have to worry about sitting too closely to the television, I think about more practical ways I can keep my eyes healthy.  Two ways that you can keep your eyes healthy are by going to the eye doctor regularly and wearing protective eye ware.  You should get your eyes checked at least once a year just to make sure that nothing it getting out of hand.  Protective glasses aren’t just for welders and carpenters, you should even wear them when you’re working in the yard cutting the grass and raking leaves.

If you’re in the market for new eyeglasses and sunglasses, don’t forget to check out the GlassesUSA.com code running now.
