KGB Media has a deal on movies for Atlanta readers!! Get $4 movie tickets at any AMC, Loews, Cineplex Odeon, Magic Johnson, and Star theater.  These are almost gone so hurry and grab them as soon as possible!

    • Tmpete0623

Please check out their facebook site before you order your tickets. It seems not a lot of people are getting their stuff from kgbdeals.com. here is the link http://www.facebook.com/kgbdealsUSA
I never had any dealings with them but this doesn’t sound good.

    • brenda z

this is available in the DC area as well and is good in Northern VA where I am.

    • Christy

Has anyone bought these before? Do I need to worry about credit card fraud?

    • Lisa

Is the proof of purchase emailed so that I can pick up my ticket?

    • melanie

I would be careful with this one. Lots of complaints on their FB page.

    • Marina115

A lot of people complaining that they ordered their tickets weeks ago and still haven't gotten them. It sounds like a great deal but not worth the hassle if it turns out to be a scam.

      • JJ

        does say 4 weeks.

    • Burke2010

Ok. I found a link to a question regarding the AMC/KGB deals for the NY area. It makes me feel a little better about purchasing the tickets. I’m just thinking it’s going to take a while for them to actually get to us.

also, you can only purchase 1 ticket per credit card. The name on the credit card is the name on the ticket. So unless your kids have their own credit cards, you can't get tickets for them.

    • katie

oh geez, I forwarded this offer to my friend and now I'm concerned about it being a scam based on the comments.

    • Burke2010

Yikes! Yeah, I ordered two. I noticed that the estimated arrival time was a few weeks. I can handle that if it's not a scam.

    • AHage

I tried twice, but it kept saying, “Whoops, we've encountered a small problem.”

I think I'll just go to the AMC am movies for the cheap price instead of going through the hassle.

    • Kaleyfaith

Do these print out or are they shipped?

    • ireneY

Way too many complaints on Facebook to take a risk. Thanks anyway, Jenny!

    • JJ

I would be careful doing these deals. They have oversold by the way. As it should not be counting up. Has a -71 now when i finished went to the page had -2. I would only buy daily deals from the two companies who been around the longest and don't over SELL. l. Please before you post do homework about the companies.

      • ireneY

Jenny's getting the hot deals posted ASAP before they disappear. You can do your own homework.

    • Buttrflyk96

I would suggest to everyone only buy deals from Groupon and LivingSocial. Everyone is starting daily deal companies today. many are or have went under without filling orders.

    • Foladar

The company itself is legit, FWIW, cant comment on their “Deals” though.

has anybody received merchandise (tickets)? Is this trulay a scam?

    • Burke2010

I went to the AMC website and checked out the their “ask the AMC community” link and found a question that someone asked regarding the New York offer. An AMC rep replied, ” While we can confirm kgb did purchase a large amount of our Gold Experience tickets, we have no control over any promotion or sale run by another company or organization, such as kgb”.
I don't think it's a scam but I think it might take the full 4 weeks for the tickets to arrive.

    • Parkerdeanna

I clicked on buy and I entered all my info but there was no button to submit.

    • guest

I called KGB and was told that a large batch of tickets were mailed out this week. There was an actual customer service person whom I spoke with and I expressed my concerns about people not receiving their tickets. Let's see if any tickets are received this week or early next week. I personally feel better about actually speaking with a live person.

    • Jennifer

I got my ticket in the mail yesterday. Thanks for posting this!

    • mayobutter

So, it has been five full weeks and I still have not received a ticket. When I emailed KGB they stated the ticket “was sent” and they would send another one in the mail—it has now been 7 business days and I have yet to receive anything. I will never purchase anything from them, and am lucky it was only four bucks I lost. Still annoyed tho, and will see if my cc company can do anything about it.
