For two days only, save $5 off any $25 purchase at Walgreens.  Go here to print your coupon.  This is good Wednesday 5/20 and Thursday 5/21.

Need some ideas?  Check out the weekly deals.

Update:  Sorry I was forgetting what store we were talking about briefly when I posted the former scenario.  These Walgreens coupons do require that they be used after all other coupons have been used.  If you have something you want to spend that is a large value go for it.  To me this is to much out of pocket to use a coupon like this.  I would prefer to do small transactions and keep my out of pocket very low.

    • Teresa

I got that email also and the small print says AFTER coupons and Walgreens discounts you have to have a total of $25

    • Katherine

Mine says the same thing….Purchase amt of $25 or more must be before taxes and after all manufacturer and Walgreens coupons and discounts

    • Gerri

I used a coupon like this, gave it to the cashier as my first coupon and it took off $5.00. Then I gave her my other coupons and after subtracting those coupons, the register automatically added the $5.00 back because my total dropped under $25.

    • Beth

Where is the $3 off the kit? All I can find is a $2 off the kit.

    • Shannon N.

What I did was buy RR items and glucose meters. Here’s what I did this morning…

      Buy:
      (1) Right Guard Clinical – $5.99
      (2) Neosporin – $10.00
      (1) Wags Glucose Meter – $14.99
      Use:
      (1) – $2/1 Righ Guard (off package)
      (2) – $1/1 Neosporin (insert)
      (1) – $5/25 Wags Q
      = $21.98 OOP
      RR = $5, $4 = $9.00
      MIR = $14.99
      Total = $2.01 MM

Will work even better if your stores still have the toothpaste and bayer crystals.

    • ShanR

      Shannon N

Please explain how it would work even better w/ the toothpaste and Bayer crystals. I assume since RR are MQ that you can’t pay with RR either?

    • Jenn

Not Shannon, but the toothpaste and the crystals are free after RRs.

    • susan

I also looked for items with RRs.
      Here’s what I did:

      2 Pringles
      1 Dry Idea
      1 Edge shaving gel
      2 Soft scrub
2 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner (B1G1)
      2 packs plastic spoons
      1 Bayer crystals
      1 Bic utility lighter
2 Disney toys (most toys at this store were 75% off!!!)
      1 pack 28 bottles water

      used $1 Q Pringles
      $2 Q Dry Idea
      $.75 Q Edge
      $1 Q lysol
      $1 Q Bic lighter
      B1G1 Soft scrub
      walgreens Q 2/1.00 cutlery
      walgreens water

      total oop: $20.19
      got 9.59 RR back

went to different Walgreens and bought:
      Colgate T/P
      Bayer crystals
      3 tuna packs (clearance .32)

used .75 Q colgate (lost my $1 Q somewhere along the way)
      7 RR

      paid .46 oop
      got back $7 RR

Both Walgreens were out of the Colgate, but the manager at the second store had me buy it today to get the RR and he gave me a prepaid raincheck to pick it up next week. He even offered to ring it up separately so I could use the RR for the rest of my purchases. I already had enough so I didn’t bother. He went out of his way to get the deals for me!!!

      Then I stopped at Publix
      bought:
      2 Breyer’s ice cream (B1G1)
      1 loaf bread
      2 J & J products (gauze and tape)

      used 2 $1 Q Breyers
      $2 J & J Q from flyer
      $3 J& J Q from blinkie
      2.50 RR from Walgreens

      paid .36

      total for day oop: 21.01
      total savings: 50.37
      RR still have $14

Thanks Jenny for teaching me so much!!

    • This coupon comes in handy for me because I need joint juice (and I have a bogo coupon and $2/1 coupon) and I wanted to get the marshmallow/chocolate/graham deal, and there’s no rr’s for those and higher oop, so I am combining that with the off clip on and colgate/right guard to get $25. :)

    • cheryl

Just went to walgreens. I sign was haning by the Right Guard deodorant that siad it was not a RR deal, and sign said sorry.

Is that true, has anyone received a RR on right Guard deo?

    • Leah

I bought the right guard professional strength and my rr printed fine.

    • Angela

Anyone know of a Q for printer cartridge refill? There was a rebate for it previously…

    • Shery

Has anyone been able to print the $10.00 off 3 Aveeno Positively Ageless products from the Aveeno website? I wanted to purchase 3 Aveeno products at Walgreens this week, but so far have been unable to print the coupon. I did email Johnson & Johnson this AM to see if they could help me. I’d hoped to use the Aveeno discount along with several others at Walgreens today.

I used the $5.00 off $25.00 yesterday without any problem. Came home with 3 Gatorade, 2 Planters Cashews, 2 Walgreen 6″ paper plates, 4 boxes Kraft Mac & Cheese, 1-4 pack Shark Bite Mints, 1 Edge shave gel, 2 Snickers candy bars, 1 Bic utility lighter, 1 Brawny 8 roll pack, 1- 22pk. of Carefree pantiliners for a total of $15.14. I saved $9.56 in WAG coupons, 9.79 in WAG advertised savings, and 9.64 in MFG coupons for a total savings of $28.99! Apparently the fact that I first gave the $5.00 off $25.00 worth of items, then gave the cashier the Walgreen’s coupons, then my manufacture coupons is what kept the $5.00 from adding on to the end. I had not even seen the portion of the coupon that said the total had to be $25.00 after coupons, and the cashier did not say a thing about it. Also, I did get back $2.00 RR–1.00 for the Bic lighter, and 1.00 for the Edge shave gel. I was happy!

    • I just got home from Walgreen’s and used the $5/$25 and it worked fine. Here’s what I did…….mine is a little more OOP b/c hubby wanted the razor refills. LOL

3 Zephyrills Water $3.99 each (they were out of the Nestle and did a sub)
B1G1 fabric softner (forgot the brand, start with a S) $2.79
      Altra Blade refills $13.49
      Icee $.99

      used:
      $5/$25
      $1.00 Zeph Q
      $1.00 Zeph Q
      $10 RR

      subtotal $12.24
      tax $.86
      Total due $13.10 OOP

sherry i still have the 10.00 off aveno if you would like email me and i will try to forward it to u. the right guard at the on one reidville rd in spartanburg,sc says the same thing so i tried it and it rang up 5.99 plus i did get the rr. cant figure out why they did that ,maybe they are loosing money on the item this week strange!!!

    • jen

duh sherry my email is jfranklin973@msn.com

    • sarah

For any newbies out there: you might spend a little more in order to spend that $5/$25, but it can be done – our WAGS had a ton of things on clearance, some of which I had Q’s for and was able to get vitamins, BOGO which were needed by me, then, scotch tape 3 rolls for $3 which came with Q’s for other items. I started out the trip using all of the RR deals along with Q’s and saved the pricey stuff for the $5 off deal. All in all, got about $130 worth of product and paid less than $40 for all of it and still have some RR’s and other catalinas’ – so just keep working on it – it will all fall into place

    • Tamie

I just came in from Walgreens, I used the 5 off 25 first as well and then my other q’s and it took it just fine. My total was $9.06 after all discounts so it should work fine for everyone.

    • sarah

Shannon – or anyone who can answer this – What is MM that you listed in the deals above? thanks

    • Kathleen, Central Fl

      I bought:
      off clip on: 8.99
      tylenol arthritis 100 caps: 6.99
      Dry Idea: 5.99
      Colgate toothpaste: 4.49
      Bic Lighter: 2.99
      benefiber: 4.99
      wrigleys gum (no Q) 2/$4.00
Bayer Quick crystals (no Q): 2.49
      skintimate: 1.99
      Total before Q: ———–$42.92

      -$3/off
      – 2/deoderant
      – 2/tylenol
      – 2/benefiber
      – 1/toothpaste
      – 1/lighter
      – .75/skintimate
      total Q———————$-11.75
      total ———————-$31.17
      ——————-aft $5 Q $26.17
      plus tax

      got back $20 in RR:
      5/deoderant
      4.50/toothpaste
      3/off
      2.50/bayer
      2/benefiber
      1/lighter
      1/skintimate
      1/gum

plus it also printed out $ off Q’s for tylenol and benefiber :)
I needed the tylenol, so didn’t worry about the no rr and found a 50 ct bottle that had a bogo wrapped package.

It did take me about an hour planning this deal (my couponing organization has lagged behind my purchasing, since I only started 4 weeks ago)… but it took me only about 15 mins in the store!
Final deal oop ~$27 (incl tax) got back $20 RR… so, to me, it is like I got the deals with rr free and paid the normal price for the tylenol.

    • Angel

Some Walgreens have certain packages of Huggies Goodnight sleep pants on clearance for $2.89! I had two $2 coupons and two $1.50 coupons. This was a steal!

    • mary

      Hi Jenny,
I am pretty new at all of this and I have found your site very helpful. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Did I read somewhere that you can use RR at publix?
      Thank you, Mary
