      !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not as many but still good!

Is it me or does the world of coupons seem to be changing.  I feel like you can get decent coupons on products but anything on real food seems to becoming  a thing of the past.

      • Joseph Be

I track how much (I know, kind of nerdy) we save w/coupons, last year it was about $275/month w/manufacturer’s alone (not counting store doubling & store coupons), this year, it’s barely $200/month – and we average about getting 4-5 copies of each insert. Definitely agree that the coupons so far this year have left a lot to be desired compared to the past. And the thing is, I for a long time have thought that there would be a gradual shift away from the paper insert coupons to on-line, but it’s not like the on-line coupons are any better than they have been in the past either! Honestly, some of the best coupons I get any more are the ones that print off at the register when I’m checking out!

        • Squirrelhater

Especially the store coupons that are printing @ Bi-Lo lately…way better than paper or online.

          • Michelledalton36

Yesterday I was lucky at check out.The mgr was standing  there and she knows I coupon. There was about 6-7 printed coups that ppl left and she grabbed them up for me.I got $158.00 worth for $68 after bonus card and coups and left with over $10 in coups I”LL USE!! : ) Thanks Bilo!!

        • Cjsimplyscraps

seriously and you used to at least be able to get the condiments, but when was the last time you saw a coupon for heinz, hellmans, lea and perrins, grey poupon, miracle whip, steak sauce or marinades and barbecue sauces. it’s franks and frenches and not the frenches i want.the p&g coupons seem to be getting less. isn’t detergent enough money without having to buy 3 and who gives 25 cents coupons nowadays. it would be one thing if you could actualy buy stuff for 25 cents. why even bother.i wish i had gotten a-1 and texas pete.lol.i’ve been waiting for them.what’s up with all the bread companies. they never give coupons.i am so grateful i have harris teeter and lowes with the doubling and tripleing.

        • cindharb

Joseph you’re my new hero, for tracking your coupon savings.  That’s some work.  You can’t rely on the accuracy of some stores’ tracking at the bottom of the receipt; i.e. Your Vic Savings for the year at HT is solely that, Vic savings not including coupons.

          .

      • Torrie

I agree! I have tons of deodorant, feminine products, hair care, etc, etc but can’t seem to feed my family of three anything but cereal or processed junk food. It’s super disheartening.

        • Cjsimplyscraps

check out earthbound farms facebook right now.they’ve been giving out a lot of coupons.

      • I agree with the sentiment. The only suggestion I would have is if there is a specific product you are looking for coupons for, like you mentioned CJSimplyScraps, then you can always contact the company. Mention how much you enjoy their product and ask where you’d be able to get coupons for it. Most companies will send out at least a few coupons (often for FREE items) and every little bit helps!

    • danabird22

My 5/6 SS from the mail yesterday doesn’t look anything like what’s listed. I have coupons for A-1, Cool Whip, Mayfield Ice Cream, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, Country Time, Capri Sun, Glory canned goods, and Texas Pete.

      • Aliciabryan

WOW where do you live I want some of those!!!!

        • danabird22

Augusta, GA.  The $1 off Mayfield coupon was great today at Bi-Lo.  I got ice cream for $1.84 and Nutty Buddy sundae cones for 87 cents!

      • Kimberly_paschal

How do you get it in the mail? I want some of those!

      • Melissa

how do you go about getting the ss in the mail?

      • Jennifer

Where can you get the Capri Sun coupons?

      • Michelledalton36

        I think I like yours better : )

    • Toni

Does anyone else getting the Gainesville Sun have trouble with the paper?  I get mine delivered and occasionally the coupons are missing.  Last Sunday happened again–they said they’d have the inserts delivered the next day–never happened.  I never end up getting the inserts no matter what they say.  Want to compare my experience with others’ experiences to see if this is typical before I cancel subcription.

      • ty

I live in High Springs and get my Gainesville Sun at the local gas station.  Last week one paper had 3 of each insert and the other way missing half of them.  I have heard of issues with them though either not having the inserts or not getting their paper altogether.

      •  If you know enough people we could set up a “drop” for folks in your area for the AJC to be delivered up to you.  Contact me at kim at thecouponshipper dot com for more info.  I’d love to be your supplier!

    • Ginger Hendricks

Is any one annoyed with the Greenville News…starting sunday the price of the week day paper will be .75 and the Sunday paper will be $2.50…ouch a dollar increase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Squirrelhater

Spartanburg has same coupons $1 cheaper…Walgreens lady said G’ville News going to $2.50…area QT covenience stores and most Walgreens carry both.Unless G’ville really jacks up their coupon content, just buy the Herald Journal…it’s ALWAYS a better paper.I believe Greenville’s editor must be an illiterate.

        • esturm1

Do the QT’s or anybody else in Greenville carry the Herald Journal for cheaper? I too am very annoyed with the $1 increase. That’s what–a 75% increase?! Way to screw your customers in a bad economy. Their customer service is ATROCIOUS as well. I will not be buying from them anymore. I’d rather get the individual coupons I need from a coupon service or ebay.

          • Donna

I haven’t seen the Herald Journal in Seneca but I’ll look harder.  I always thought that advertisers pretty much paid for newspapers and subscriber’s or purchaser’s costs were supposed to be kept low.

      • Sheryl

Our daily paper in Dallas is 1.50 and the Sunday paper is $3.00.  However, they do offer a double pack on Sunday for $5.00.  Either way, P~~~~~~~~~~ to newspaper companies.  I wouldn’t bother except for the coupons.

      • Mslonas

Did you know you can just wait til Monday, and buy them for 50% off at your local newspaper….I do, I get My papers/coupons onMonday and only pay $1.50 :)

        • Jenni P.

Problem with that is that having to drive to downtown Greenville would cost more for most people that just paying the full price! I plan on switching back to the Spartanburg Herald Journal, since I live in Spartanburg county, and can get their cheaper rate.

      • Vasi

Annoyed!  I have to re-evaluate getting the paper; making sure that weeks coupons I will/can really use.

    • Ginger Hendricks

    • Dlbandjeb

The coastal courier in Hinesville Ga has a bulk sunday paper program I just signed up for. They will hold sunday papers for you to pick up every monday. They are 40cents each must order minimum of 5.  u can pick up 5 sunday papers every week for only $2. They are really close to CVS so you can pick them up when u go shopping without waisting gas!

      • Do you have to go on their website or contact them to sign up for their papers. I usually  have to buy them at Parkers and do they carry the same inserts as the Savannah Sunday Paper. Please let me know.

    • Torrie

If anyone isn’t going to use the Mitchum Deodorant coupons, I’ll gladly trade you for any other coupon you want! It’s the only deodorant my husband will use, so I need all I can get!

      • Wilkeslydi

contact me at wilkeslydi@aol.com,I’ll have 3 and we could swap

      • Rosejackson1978

I have a total of 86 of them.  Those coupons came out in our paper today.  Would you happen to have any angel soft, $2.00 off any colgate powered toothbrush or gatorade coupons?  I dont use Mitchum so you can get as many as you want.  Email me at rosejackson1978@yahoo.com

    • Droper3

I have gotten e-mails from Sundown Vitamins in the past and downloaded their coupons without a problem.  Today I tried — and got the message that my browser didn’t support their software.  I tried downloading using both Firefox (newest version) and IE.  Neither worked.  Has anyone else had a problem?  I am using the same coupon printing software that I always use.

    • Erica

If anyone doesnt want the BIC Soleil coupons, i would love them. I will trade any you need. Princess200518@hotmail.com

    • Mslonas

Looks like were getting FREE Good and natural bar and Sundrop soda!!! not too shabby…better than LAST week :)

    • Rosejackson1978

Does anyone have any of the angel soft, $2.00 off any colgate powered toothbrush or any gatorade coupons?  I am willing to trade.  Our smart source came out in our todays paper due to we do not get a Sunday paper

    • Aztecblondie

Awesome with the Bic Soliel $3 off coupon! This amount only comes out once a year, and when Publix has them BOGO, they are a money maker.  I stocked up last year and am just about ready to need to stock up again. (When I say “stock up”, I mean I got 5 packs last year….I DON’T clear shelves).  This coupon alone makes it worth buying 5 Sunday papers!

    • Barb

I’m happy about the Nutella coupon. I came really close to paying $2.95 for a jar today.

    • Erika Joy

If anybody doesn’t want their free good n natural bar coupons, I would love them!! My inserts didn’t have them. :( My Redplum had coupons for things like  A-1,Nutella, Cool Whip, Mayfield Ice Cream, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, Country Time, Capri Sun, Glory canned goods, and Texas Pete, if anyone is interested in those!! Much appreciated!

      • Kimberly

I just found you can also print them off of the redplum.com website :)

      • keriberri

Do you have Sundrop coupons?  I would love to trade the bar coupons for those if you have them.

    • Leannmlewis

      Chocolate, medicine, and cleaning supplies…again

    • Peegang

I am in Simpsonville, SC and would like to by the paper out of Atlanta. I am really tired of greenville paper not having coupon match ups with this site.

      • mariv

You should either start your own coupon database like I did or order your coupon inserts online.

        • Nykki07

           how do you do that?

          • mariv

Which one?  Start your own database or order online?

      • Jenni P.

I’m thinking of ordering inserts now, due to this price increase by the Greenville News. I’m NOT going to pay 2.50 for a Sunday Paper.

        • khall

I recently moved to columbia and fell over when i found out that the state paper was 3.00!!!

          • Couponjunkie

I live in the Lexington area and have The State paper delivered.  Sunday only (they send me Thursday for free) and I pay $96.72 a year.  I always have my coupons and only a couple of times a year do I not receive my paper but when I call they will send another copy.

    • Did anyone notice the paper going up a $1 today to $2.50 a paper!?!

      • dweeb

yes, I nearly had a heart attack!  it was just .99 like a year ago….what’s up with that.  I’m really going to have to make sure I’ll get my money’s worth out of the coupons.  So sad.

    • Did anyone notice the paper going up a $1 today to $2.50 a paper!?!

    • 02coolsaver

Raleigh paper only had one “new” set of coupons. I bought two, one had a new Smart Source, one Smart Source from last week. The other had two Red Plums, one one those were from last week.

    • keriberri

I would love to trade coupons for Sundrop coupons!  Email me at keriberri@carolina.rr.com to trade!  Thanks!

    • Jenni P.

We had a rough day yesterday, and I completely forgot to get any papers… now as I look at it, Nutella is the only one I would have likely used. My normal Sunday paper just increased by $1 (sack-of-dung Greenville “News”), so I’ll be switching back the the Spartanburg Herald Journal for $1 less, until they eventually jack up their price, too. When that happens, I may finally start buying my inserts.

      • guest

Print the Nutella coupon from Redplum.com.
I was not able to buy the newspaper either, but was able
to print some using southern savers.

      • Shinyhappyrobin

Don’t bother with the S’burg paper either, it’s missing coupons also, get the Charlotte news paper.
