If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a total solar eclipse happening next week!  I’ve gathered together a few different fun activities to do with your kids this weekend to get them excited about the eclipse.  My personal favorite are the eclipse pancakes and fruit snacks!

If you haven’t already, you may want to do your research before you decide whether or not you let your kids watch the eclipse.  It can be very damaging for eyes, especially for little ones who don’t want to keep their NASA-approved glasses on their eyes.  The safest way for your kiddos to watch may be watching it on TV.

Want to find NASA-approved glasses?  They’ve compiled a list of approved brands and retail locations including Lowes, Kroger & more.
