i went  to cvs and wanted to get the coupons from the coupon machine that were 2$ off any hair product and it didnt print it. I asked the manager why and he said it only prints coupons for items you have purchased before, so i would of had to buy hair products before. does this sound right. I wanted to get good deal on pantene, but couldnt be cause I havent bought hair products there before.

      • Miranda

There may have been some who have gotten them this week, but the $2 of hair products were printing mostly last week.  HTH.

      • Thewizardessofoz3

I had a CVS employee tell me the other day to scan my card multiple times. I had never thought to do this but it worked and I got a bunch of different coupons!

        • Coolmanmusic

I have also been told to scan multi time that when it’s done it will let you know and have got as many as6 different coupons in one trip scanned 4 times got 2 coupons each the first 3 times then on the 4th it said nothing acalible

    • Kat175

I am relatively new to couponing (5-6 months) and I noticed it seems the coupons are the SAME most weeks (basically what you collect in a 2-3 week period is the same as any other!).  Is this always the case?  Did they have greater variety before? Did they have more food coupons?

    • Erica

Looking for zest and Huggins coupons. Princess200518@hotmail.com please email

    • Mhawkins

I think the couponing shows have hurt us all.  There was a time you actually got food coupons.  Now it’s only pet foods and toiletries and some paper goods.  Maybe it will pick up this fall, but as for the summer it stinks!

      • Kgs1974

I agree, the coupons have not been very good. I wish they cancel that show maybe we could get better coupons again.

      • Cljhardy

I hate that most of the show is based on people disregarding store policies and taking advantage of manufacturers who promise money back guanantees in the form of coupons. If they keep that up we will lose that benefit as well. Why not just show normal savings done correctly and ethically.

      • Yoyodental

I agree. Instead of 50 cent coupons to double, now they send out 75 coupons.  Also, I remember when I used to get free dawn dish detergent because of the 50 cent coupons, but now I am seeing 25 cent coupons.

      • Carol

I agree!!  It’s not worth buying the Sunday paper any more.

    • Ibdqt34

Wow. 15 coupons in the RP insert? Really? And the only ‘food’ item is candy? I don’t even know what to say…

      • Yoyodental

redplum hardly ever have good coupons

    • julie mars

Wow, coupons have been terrible for  months….hate the couponing shows….who buys 27 bottles of antacid at once???

      • Carol

Coupon values have changed so really hurts in the pocketbook!  Extreme couponing is not real life couponing.

    • Susie

While I would love to see more food coupons, I will NOT complain.  I get most of my “basic” foods at Publix or Winn Dixie on the B1G1.  The tolietries, paper products and pet food are my most expensive items and I love, love getting the coupons for these.  What I save on these helps on the food items.  So I will never complain.

    • AD

I thought the list was bad, but then I got the Sunday paper.  It only had about a quarter of what was listed here.  I found only two coupons that I MIGHT use down the road.  I hope next week is better.  Thank goodness for the printables.

      •  Me too— My SmartSource is only 8 pages and has 1/5th of what is listed.  Too bad for me BC I buy 4 papers at a time.  $ down the drain.  The Valdosta Daily Times is worthless if your couponing!

    • LJ

Just got the AJC delivered and received no inserts…is this correct??

    • Erinsdailydeals13

My Red Plum only had 3 (yes, 3) coupons this week!

The Augusta Chronicle was a bust. I did not receive any inserts in my paper and then I went back and looked through two more and there was nothing in those either. A friend bought hers at Walgreens and received them though. Weird.

    • Charlotte

I got 2 diff red plums…no smart source?  Oh well…smile…life could be a lot worse!

    • Janedoe

Yes the coupons have not been good. I try to buy food for the food bank. Lots of cereal but not much else. I think $1 off 3 boxes is not worth it. I get better coupons free from coupon.com  Like 75cents off one box of cereal.

    • Courtney

My AJC (that I sell-normally about 275-300 a week) had 2 inserts. The RP had 10 pages (and a few coupons in it that weren’t listed on southernsavers!) and the SS had 16 pages. I have extras if you would like them shipped. Contact me!
