    • Mom2teenagers

There's supposed to be a General Mills insert this weekend too. I saw the preview posted on another site.

      • Lorettaj58

        I heard that too!!!!!

        • Lisa

can someone tell me how to use the coupon differences area per city? What is the legend used. For instance, some are red, some are blue, and some are black. I have looked around a bit, but can't find what that actually means. (i might just be blind though!) lol

          • lisa

Oh, never mind. I just found it!! DOH!

            lol

Red = Not in this insert

Blue = A Change in Value or a new coupon not in the preview.

      • Amy

One of the Smart Source inserts above says General Mills after it. That's probably the same one. Would there be another separate GM insert?

        • Mom2teenagers

No- there are 4 inserts total. I'm not sure why it's labeled as SS/GM above but it's all GM products listed.

    • Bholmes75

yes I knew they would have more green giant boxed veggies that will go perfectly with the catalina at harris teeter. Think I”m going to get a couple papers sunday. lol

    • Guest

      Thanks !

    • Mom2teenagers

I got my 9/12 RP in the mail today (The State) and it didn't have Gain q's. :(

      • Catgorman89

How did you get a 9/12 RP in the mail?? Where can I sign up??

        • SDlifer10

hmm. well I live in San Diego, CA and mine started coming in the mail, and IS NO LONGER in the newspaper. Which is such a bummer because I can't get more than one…

        • Sg

Over the years are so I have only gotten RP coupons in the mail on Wednesdays about 5 times. I live in Columbia, SC. I would like to know why so few times. How is it decided who gets them?

          • luci10

Some newspapers mail a free advertising paper with inserts. The companies who send the papers these inserts make the call whether to send advertise in those versus the Sunday papers or a daily paper such as the Wednesday newsstand/home deliveries.

        • Mom2teenagers

I don't know how I started getting them but a few months ago, I started getting an “advance” RP insert in the circulars that come in the mail- not the newspaper- on Wednesday. I still get the insert in my Sunday paper too.

        • I just went to swagbucks.com and searched “receive redplum coupon insert by mail” and was directed to the Valassis site with a form to fill out to get the inserts by mail (for free!!!). Said it could take 5-6 weeks to get the first set. Woo hoo!

Now to see if I can do the same for SmartSource – they’re no longer included in my local paper.

        • Do a search for “receive Valassis coupon insert by mail” and you should find several articles with links to sign up on the Valassis site to receive them by mail – they say it will take 5-6 weeks for it to start.

If you search on the swagbucks site, you might get some points, too!

Anyone using the binder method for Q organization? If so, are there some coupons that are just never worth clipping? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I just transitioned over to the binder method, but the thought of clipping every single Q from here on out is already making my hand hurt. ; )

      • Ruth

I have seen people using the binder method and I’m sure it probably works. I use a photo organizing box that has two smaller boxes inside. I label the boxes and cut the coupons that are high value. I get about 100 inserts a week but I don’t cut every single coupon. By previous deals and sale and clearance cycles, I know I will never use some of the coupons in the inserts.
I got the photos organizer box at Staples and I have tried to get another one but I haven’t found one like mine yet. If anyone is interested in seeing it, email me at ruthejenkins@aol.com and I’ll send you the picture. The only thing that I didn’t like about the binder method is that there is a very limited amount of coupons that you can fit in a small card spaces.

      • Pennydealchick

I have been using the binder method for two years. I have two a large one for all foods and household items and a small one for personal and meds. I go by the rule that if I do not use it I do not clip it. I do keep the extra in a baby wipe box just in case there is a deal that I should not pass up. I have found though I never need them but I share them with a coupon group at church. That would be my suggestion. It seems to work for me. Hope this helps.

        • Jeri

I also use the binder method but include a smaller accordian style purse size one too. I have all the stores (CVS, WAGS, Bi-Lo, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, and the Pig) listed and before I go to the stores on Saturday I put the specific q's I plan to use in the accordian file. I also take my binder just in case there is an unadvertised deal.

I cut out all the q's on Sundays but only put the ones I would probably use in my binder. The others go into a big manilla envelope that I send over seas to an Air Force base in Germany when it gets full.

      • NSBsaver

Oh, gheeze…I dont clip all of them either. Sometimes it can be overwhelming!!!

I love my coupon organizer that fits my purse, so I put the good coupons that I know I will use in that. I have a special compartment that I have labeled “Use at CVS” and another that is labeled “Use at WAGS” that I stick my coupons in that I will be using that week along with my RR's and ECB's.

Just in case of a B1G1 or money maker, I save all the rest of the inserts in a plastic accordian file according to date. Thanks to Jenny, all I have to do is see what date the coupon came out and I can go right to it!!!! HTH!!!

        • christa

That's exactly what I do…but I have TWO purse-sized binders, one in which I categorize the coupons that I choose to clip, the other one in which I keep them by store. I also keep the rest of the inserts in a large accordion file by date. Works great for me too!

      • I have graduated from a small cardboard organizer to a custom made fabric organizer and have finally settled on a binder w/baseball card holders. I love this method! I carry it into the store and sit it on top of my purse – I have had more people ask me about couponing since I switched to the binder, lol. (I always refer them here!!).

About the coupons – I used to cut them all out, thinking “just in case” but have learned to cut only the ones that we'll realistically use. The rest I hang onto but not in my binder – I either give them away or use them for products that I can donate.

      • Darkcisnelle

I do the binder method and yes they are some coupons I refused to clip since I just know i wont get them. But I also have a 5 year old assistant that loves to help me.
My therapy is Sunday morning clipping coupons while wachting and Indie movie :)

      • Monica452

One thing I do, because I get overwhelmed in the store, is enter all my coupons in an excel spreadsheet on the computer. I clip everything and on Sunday add them to my spreadsheet with the brand, stimpulations, money off and expiration date. Then I sort them according to different headings like breakfast items, cleaning, laundry soaps, etc. I always sort my columns by expiration date so I can check at the store to see if anything is on sale that is expiring. If I find something I will get my organizer out and find the coupon. Otherwise I find myself going through my coupon stack looking for that one coupon and it takes forever. This way I carry my sheets around looking at everything with just a glance!

        • Freedomspradley1

Are you an accountant? You are VERY organized!! I usually print the preview list of the coupons to stick in my folder with the weekly inserts and then replace that with the regional variations list Jenny posts on Wednesdays since it's more accurate. It's easier to pull the list to look for coupons than flip through 100's of coupons looking for something particular. I'm also getting spoiled with the new coupon database because I pull that up on my cell in the store and it directs me right to the coupon.

        • Amy J.

Just curious since this sounds like a great idea…….how long does it take you to do the coupon spreadsheet?? Thanks!

      • Faye

I use the binder method and clip all the coupons. It doesn't take long. I usually do it on Sunday evening while watching a movie. I buy two papers and match up the insert pages in each so I'm clipping two at once. I put all the coupons I believe I'll use in baseball type protector sheets – mine are actually the larger type that have 4 pouches per page. I give my family members the coupons I think they'll use and I put the ones I won't use next to the products in stores. Sometimes I hang onto coupons that could be money makers but not very often. What I like about it is when it's time to create your list and go shopping, it's sooooo easy to pull the coupons and be ready to go in 15 minutes or so. Plus, with the variations in coupons by region, sometimes I'd miss a better deal by not physically going through my clipped coupons.

I've tried three methods and this one seems to work a lot better. I bought a zippered binder because I kept flipping my old plastic binder upside down and dumping my coupons in the floor (not fun) LOL.

      • Amy J.

I'm really glad you posted this question….I have been using the binder method since I began extreme couponing (since January of this year).

There are times I get behind on clipping the coupons. I definitely do not clip ALL of them but I do clip a majority of them. There are times when I get behind on clipping, organizing and inserting into my binder (like this week, since we went to visit family over Labor Day weekend). I have been considering a different method since (as I'm sure several of you are as well) I am a mother, housewife, & have a part-time job…..and IMO extreme couponing can seem like a part-time job in and of itself at times.

I definitely like the comments regarding only clipping what you KNOW you will use and retaining the inserts just in case :-) You never know what CVS will have in their ECB deals (of course i could take the time to go to iheartcvs and take a look ahead but rarely have time to do so) and it's also hard to pass up any of the high dollar Q's in the inserts or online printables.

At the same time (and no offense at all, different things work for different people), I don't like the thought of flipping thru inserts if there is a closeout deal / clearance / manager's special/ unadvertised special. It is convenient to have the Q's you will use and the ones you think you will possibly use already clipped and in the binder under the particular product type or section, so when you do come across that great unadvertised deal or “manager's special”, etc., you know right where to flip in your binder to find it……no pulling out inserts and flipping thru them then getting out your “kiddie” scissors to clip it right there in the store (which i have done a time or two when behind on clipping)….LOL!!

My time is totally consumed (to which I'm sure most of you can relate), so when I have a spare moment to go grocery shopping, I make my list, print any Q's I may not have already, grab my binder and go……so I do like that convenience. It just gets a bit overwhelming when things come up and I get behind.

        Sorry, I guess I'm still riding the fence over possibly trying a different method and trying to convince myself that I should stick w/ the binder method ;-}

I think I'm going to go back thru everyone's comments and jot down what sounds like it would work, and maybe make a list of the pros and cons to other methods….maybe that will help me. If anyone has other comments / suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks!

        • Christine

I clip everthing and sort them as I go into 3 catagories….food, non-food, and give away. I have been couponing since Oct. 2009 and I have learned which coupons I will truly use and which ones I KNOW that I never will even if there is a good deal…such as cat litter or olives (hate olives and don't use them…ever)…so, I give away all coupons I won't use and then I file them all in my binder. I also, get behind sometimes and at those moments, I wish I had a different plan, but once I take time to get them cut, sorted and filed…I feel “happy” again and glad I use this method. I like knowing I have all my coupons with me and in order when I go to the store…so, i don't think I actually will go back to my old method….maybe there should be a “Binder Support Group” to encourage each other to stick with it….lol! Good-Luck!

          • Amy J.

LOL, Christine, thank you! I agree…..the more i think about using a different method, the more i think i would NOT like it…..each method has it's pros and cons. I do love having everything in the binder in it's category, easy to find and all with me at the store.

Thanks for reminding me that it is a good method and for making me laugh…..i definitely needed that!!!

    • momto2boys

My scissors are happy just thinking about it :)

    • She Coupons

Today at Kroger they denied letting me use a manufacturers coupon and a coupon that came out of the machine at the store together. They let me do it all the time before! Did they change their policy or something?

      • Sandy

Actually, they are never supposed to accept 2 manufacturer coupons on the same item. So, if you did it before your cashier must not have known.

    • Abcdsclark

I keep all my coupons in a filing cabinet and label the folders and put the weeks inserts in them. then i look at the sales ad and take a letter sized envelope (thanks office max rewards program) and make my list and pull and insert coupons. that way i dont waste time clipping till i need. I check the coupon database if i need something not on the sales lists. I do keep a separate envelope for coupons i only use at the commissary though, but most of those are printer printouts. Who knew having a hubby who builds our computers would come in handy, we have all our old systems for coupon printing :)
Jenny, my husband goes to work now and tells people about your site and tells them about my savings. he is enlisted and you would be amazed at all the officers that have asked him about savings after hearing him talk to the younger guys when they need some financial help. Your site has been a wonderful Godsend. People see me with all my savings and I always refer them to your site.

      • Mrs Faught

My husband is Army enlisted as well and since we PCS'd here in Feb things have been tighter than we would like…. I was never a coupon-er before this, but I cannot believe how much I am saving!? It's like printing money off the net and clipping it out of the paper! THANK YOU, JENNY for taking the time to post all these deals and coupons, your site has truly been a lifesaver for us… You are supporting military families in a whole new way!

    • Leisa

I have used the binder system for about a year but am finding that I only use about 10% of the coupons that I clip. I swear I have some of the pickiest eaters – ever! I am thinking of just clipping the most used ones for my binder and filing the rest. I saw one comment for this style/combination…anyone else do this?

      • That's exactly what I do, too! I have a binder for the coupons for products we use regularly, plus the ones that I would use if we got a great sale. Then I file the rest of the inserts by date in case there is a sale or specific need that pops up that I could use a coupon for. Seems to work well, and I'm not wasting time clipping coupons that I will never use! :)

      • Erica

I don't clip anything other than printables–all the others stay in the binders and I use the new coupon database to look for Qs on products we use all the time. It takes the same amount of time to clip, but I eliminate the time I would spend filing them all. Especially helpful for items used every week but that don't usually go on sale.

    • Tigress1321

how many papers are people getting this weekend?

      • Diane

At Kroger, they package 2 papers for $3.00. I'll probably get 3 of those, so 7 papers total. I haven't seen great deals for FreeStyle Lite Glucose…, but those are usually GREAT money makers. Anyone know of deals coming up for them? If so, I'd get more papers even

        • Susan

          Diana, where is your kroger?

          • Jpowell475

try your local dollar tree if you have one

          • Diane

Sorry; I haven't been here recently. All of the roswell/alpharetta Krogers bundle, and I've always gotten all of the inserts

        • I just posted a comment above about how when I buy “bundled” newspapers (the Atlanta Journal), I only end up with 1 full set of coupons that is split between the papers that are bundled together.

When you buy bundles, are you getting 2 full sets of coupons??

          • Christine

Today I did…but, usually I am shorted the red plum in the early edition paper. I changed the location of where I get my papers.

      • Jenni

I'll get my usual 4 from a Walgreens that sells them for .99 cents each.

        • mfammom

Where is your Walgreens? What a deal!!! I miss getting papers for $1 at Menard's when we lived in IL but down here south of Atlanta I haven't found any deals on papers…any suggestions???

          • Jpowell475

try your local dollar tree if you have one

        • Junkbell

I've been getting mine from Walgreens. I live in the Montgomery, AL area and get the Montgomery Advertiser and the Birmingham News there, both for .99 each. Unfortunately, lately the Birmingham News isn't including all of the inserts each week. It's very frustrating and I've thought about calling them to find out why. I know they have all of the inserts in the papers that are delivered in the Birmingham area because my mom lives up there and gets a Sunday paper. They will be losing business if it continues. I know MANY people who have been buying the B'ham paper there and will stop if they continue to leave out coupon inserts.

      • Mommy coupon guru

here in Florida Walmart sells the sunday paper for $.88 its the only time I ever shop there. Lol… and I usually get 4 papers.

        • Dolphincake

Not in mine booo. Where in FL are you?

    • darkenmind1326

I first used the index card file box. I liked this way except you cant see them all laid out nice and neat. So I decided to try the binder system. It is super organized but I fell behind with cutting them out…So I switched back to file box and they are all organized and clipped. I clip all mine because I trade with a lot of people on the Southern Saver's Trading site. (I also send expired overseas too. This is just a little bit time consuming …cutting them all out but it makes it easier when i send them there).

      • Lucy2778

I started cutting mine out but since I usually buy more than one newspaper, I fell behind, so I stopped. I now cut only the once I'll use for sure, and leave the others in the insert. Just a suggestion – if you are cutting all of them, invest in a paper cutter. It is so much faster and easier on your hands, plus you can cut more than one insert at the same time. It's especially good for printables. I get my printables cut in no time using a paper cutter :)

        • darkenmind1326

i have heard that that is a good investment. I am looking into to getting one or that might be my christmas present:)

      • Beth Anne

where is the Southern Saver's Trading site? I'd like to check that out!

    • WynetteC

I hope the AJC includes the Red Plum for my area in West Georgia this time. For the entire month of August there were NO Red Plum inserts in the papers sold in stores in my area. The local stores in this area have been feeling the frustration from couponers due to AJC's lack of due diligence. If you receive home delivery from AJC, the coupon shortage did not affect you.

In house AJC states that the home delivery papers are stuffed with coupons first, then whatever is left over if any – goes into the papers which are sold at the stores. Sadly, they were sold *as* FULL coupon value papers with hundreds of dollars in savings amounts on the stand each week. The rep. I spoke to said “When that happens, a note is supposed to be attached to the stands to advise the public of the coupon shortage in that paper.

      • couponingprincess

I have one delivered but the early edition and one of the extra ones I purchased didn't have a Redplum and only 1 of those had the $3 Wisk Coupon!!! Ugh

      • ireneY

I called the AJC at 404.526.2277, left a message, and a nice woman called back. She sent the missing inserts within a week.

      • My experience with purchasing the AJC at BP gas stations in Gainesville and Clermont, Georgia is frustrating.

I go to BP stations because they have the “bundled” AJC papers. The bundle wrapper advertises “double the coupons” for the price of one paper, but that is not accurate. The bundle consists of the early version and late version of the paper and, between the two papers, I've only ever gotten 1 full set of coupon inserts. The early version has some of the inserts and the late version has the rest of the inserts. Frustrating!

        Has anyone else experienced this?

        • WynetteC

Be sure to call them whenever the coupon inserts are missing from the paper. They will replace any that you're missing. As far as customer service goes, they really do get my vote of approval! :)

      • Cindy

Best thing I've found is to look through the paper (I don't subscribe b/c some weeks I buy NO papers and other weeks I will get 2 or 3) at the store b/f buying it. If I am buying multiple copies I look through Each copy-if they dont' have Q's they don't go home with me-it's that simple. I've found that there isn't ANY warning whatsoever when they have NO coupons so I stopped buying them at a stand or thinking about a subscription-it's cheaper that way too b/c you only spend $ when you have Q's you can use.

        :-)

      • Christine

Try Douglasville….I got mine at Chevron on Hwy 5 and there were 3 SS, 1 RP, 1 Publix booklet called, “For all the family favorites”…and a single coupon sheet for Crisco cooking spray .75cents off 1.

      • Chinalove

Sounds like you talked to Valerie. That is what she told me,too. But the person in charge said that all inserts are supposed to be in there. I don't know what is going on, but I am tired of getting the run around on this matter. The AJC is definitely being misleading here in West GA.

    • Owenchenault

We did'nt get the Wisk on 8/29/10 I bought the Chicago paper and they had it in there I hope we get both the Gain and Cheer c/os

    • Laura

I got the 9/12 Redplum in my Atlanta paper today.

4 coupons have diff amounts than the above list:
smart balance milk is 2.00 off 1
      state fair is .75
scotties 1.00 off 3 boxes or one multi pack
scope .75 off one 710 ml or larger

and it has 2 coupons not on your list
      welch's fruit snacks 1.00 off 2
Benevia 3.00 off 4 single bottles or one 4 pack

    • Just called The Gainesville Times newspaper office (for Gainesville, Georgia) and the man at the advertising desk confirmed that they will not have any SmartSource (SS) inserts this weekend. He said SS has (for the most part) stopped putting inserts in The Gainesville Times. He said they're trying to get them back in the paper but there have been extenuating (?) circumstances – he didn't elaborate.

      *sigh*

So, as per Jenny's recommendation, stick to the newspapers from the bigger cities as the best bet for getting coupon inserts.

    • Sheila

$2 PF Change coupon looks great. I wonder when these will go on sale. This will match up good with the $1.50 target coupon. Has anyone ever seen these go on sale at Publix?

    • Kengjw

Wow….I just got my two AJC Sunday newspapers (on Saturday) and they are 4 different inserts like Jenny said but both of my newspaper have an extra redplum insert in both of the paper. Awesome!! 5 inserts total!

      Julia

    • Guest

Can anybody recommend where to get a Sunday paper with most coupons in Spartanburg, SC area? The ones I am getting have a lot of coupons missing and I tried a bunch of different places. Thanks.

    • itismedia

I am in Savannah, GA and looking for the Healthy Choice entree coupon for 50/1. Did anyone receive it? I cannot even find it on the clipping service website I normally use (coupon clipper). They are out of Fl. Did you guys not get it either?

Thanks for any help you can be! My husband and daughters all love taking these to work and school for lunch and I was really excited to see such an unusually high value coupon for them.

      • laura

The AJC red plum on the front page has a $1 off 2 lean cuisines hth.

        • itismedia

Thanks, I wish I could get the AJC. We use to be able to, but a few years ago they cut their delivery area to 50 miles. We (Savannah) didn't get the Lean Cuisine coupon either. =+( Thanks for the info though. Maybe the HC coupon on steamers entrees was a typo????

    • I bought a sunday paper today and didnt get these coupon inserts!

    • Shop Now

      Greenville SC… only 2 SS sections :(
      from Walgreens @ Pelham/I85

      • Cara

I went into the same one this morning and the cashier told me as I was checking for inserts that they are all missing the gm and redplum. She said the delivery guy left a note saying they ran out! So I went to the other Wags on Pelham and that one had papers with all four inserts, thank goodness!

    • laura

I got the AJC this morning (2double papers) at my Kroger and all I got was 3 red plum and 2 smart source!!!! I am missing a LOT!! I will try calling the AJC, werent we supposed to get 3 Smart Sources inserts????? UGH!

    • djw in GA

First time buying the Sunday paper. Got the AJC in GA (west/central) that had 2 RP, 2 SS, and 1 Better At Home. After reading some comments, I feel like I hit the jackpot!
Planning to use many of the store circulars to start my price book. I'm out of town on business this week, so this will keep me busy since I can't actually go grocery shopping!

    • luci10

Thank goodnesss I can get printable RP coupons. In our paper most of RP was mail order stuff. Only 5 coupons. Would have liked the J&J coupons too. One of the SS was missing, but I did get 2 booklets of the first group of SS coupons, which includes about half of those listed above.

    • Alicia

Florence Morning News – no General Mills insert :(

      Did get 3 today though.

    • Chinalove

I live in Carrollton and we have been shorted big time here since the beginning of August. We only get the Smart Source inserts. Same thing today. The papers at the stores(I personally checked several at Wal-mart and Kroger) only had 2 out of 5 inserts. I get the AJC delivered to my home as well and the delivered paper does contain all the inserts. I feel that we are being cheated by the AJC. They advertise how much money in coupons are available in their paper and offer double papers for double coupons but we are not getting what we are paying for. I have already talked to managers at Kroger and Wal-mart and they are going to talk to someone at AJC about this. Please if you live in the West Georgia area, call the AJC. You will get someone in the Phillipines. Just tell them it is a local issue and you need to speak to someone in Atlanta. Then ask for the person in charge of inserts. His name is Stephen. Together we can get all the inserts back again and get what we are paying for.

      • WynetteC

Its worth a shot. Something isn't making sense with this whole issue of left out inserts. I have bought the daily double in this area for over a decade and missing inserts were a rare occurrence. Now I am expecting to have missing inserts every week. And you know what's sad? They could save all the postage they are wasting in shipping these to me if they would just make sure the divisions were stuffing correctly. Priority mail at $5 each week to ship me missing inserts, they have paid over $20 in priority mail postage since August first, and after tomorrow this amount will rise by $5 again.

    • Pwmasdf

I drive a distance each week to purchase multiple copies of the AJC, since I live out of the metro area. In the past, the issues may have been missing a coupon section or so, but the occurances are getting to be chronic and growing. Two weeks ago it was Red Plum-not one to be found anywhere, and the issue is the same this week.

I've tried complaining to the store, the subcription service section of the AJC, and the editor of the AJC, and nothing is helping. I don't think this is is random occurance-it's organized theft of a marketable commodity.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what can be done to stop this? Thanks in advance for your advice!

      • itismedia

When I buy papers in the store I open them and check for the inserts before checking out for that very reason. Maybe that would help, especially if you are driving far.

      • Chinalove

One of the store managers suggested writing a letter to the editor. My oldest daughter suggested contacting Clark Howard. I think that might get some results. I think it is also important that all of us should keep calling the AJC everytime this happens.

      • Elaine mast

I get the AJC also and had the same problem 2 weeks ago with the redplum missing in all 4 of my papers. I just called them and they sent me a some coupons to replace them. The lady I spoke to was very nice. Just tell them to send you some. Hope it works for you.

    • Christine

I had been getting my papers in Bremen, GA., but was being shorted the Red Plum. Now, I get them in Douglasville. I bought it today at the Chevron on Hwy 5 and it had 5 inserts in it. None were missing.

    • Christine

I forgot to mention….the inserts I got were 3 SS, 1 RP, 1 Publix booklet called, “For all the family favorites”…and a single coupon sheet for Crisco cooking spray .75cents off 1.

    • jennifer frederick

ok i live in tuscaloosa and I have been getting 1 copy of tuscaloosa news and 2 or 3 copies of birmingham news for the past few weeks trying to get multiple coupons…im fairly new to this whole couponing thing…well, neither paper has ever had all the coupin inserts that they are supposed to IF they have any at all and when I called both newspapers they said that it is because I am buying them at the store and not getting them delivered…devliery papers get the inserts put inside first, then they run out when they get to the newsstand papers…WHAT???? how can they do that??…am i the only one who has gotten this answer? I am so frustrated with these 2 papers…anyone have any suggestions?

      • Deshaine

Makes sense to me… I would be PISSED if my delivered paper didn't have the inserts. Try the dollar tree. The one in my area opens really early and they check the papers for the inserts before selling them. (I would ask if they check the papers, just to be on the safe side.) Also, the dollar tree sells the sunday paper for $1. HTH.

      • Beth Anne

You know that the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa papers do not have all the coupons listed here, right? The Atlanta paper is the closest one to us with the complete set of coupons. That may be the real problem. I think the people at the newspaper were just being jerks and saying that so you will subscribe. I get my Birmingham news at the Dollar Tree and it always has the complete version for our region– which, again, is not the complete nationwide version.

      • sonyapell

I always get the huntsville times. they have the most coupon inserts of any papers near me. birmingham never has smartsource.

    • Linda

      (8) one page Crisco cooking spray

      (5) Red Plum

I feel like there is so much dishonesty in the very first step of trying to obtain the coupons, because where are they? Is it the people stuffing the newspapers? I have only been trying to do coupons for about three months, and I am so frustrated with all this that I could quit. There's too much dishonesty. I won't even put my money in the paper machines anymore because people go through the papers in them. I tried buying them at CVS and the good coupons had been pulled out of the booklets. The last 3 weeks I've been trying getting them at Walmart because I felt like they maybe wouldn't be gone through because of where they were. So I don't know what to do next. Any suggestions……………

      • melis1029

my home delivered got all 5 inserts and the 2 i bought in store each had 3 -4 but neither had the publix coupon book, only my home delivered had that. i would recommend getting the home delivery at leaat just on sundays, its worth it, and if you ever have a problem you can always call your delivery person they normally have extra inserts mine told me she did at one point,,, Im in Florida though..

    • TabithaIlges

Did anyone else not find the banquet coupons and the kid cuisine coupons. I got the insert but I did not find these. We bought the Charlotte observer and Rock Hill Evening Herald.

    • TabithaIlges

I got Ragu coupons for 1.25 off 3, not $1/2.

    • BluStarMom

Did anyone get the $1 Gain detergent in the RP?? I even checked couponclippers and can't find it there.

    • Dawn

Does anyone know how to send an attachment of coupon variations?
