Aldi Logo

Here are the Aldi deals that started either 3/25 or start tomorrow, 3/28. There are some great meat and produce prices this week!

I know some of you get a little upset at the price comparisons for other stores. Aldi is great, but my goal is to help you save the most money so I will continue to point out when something is cheaper in other places. In general with couponing, national brand items on a true sale with a coupon will always beat house brand prices no matter the store.

Remember that produce and national brand products can be price matched at Walmart and Target.

Super Target in Acworth, GA would not let me price match the produce on Thursday last week. The lady at customer service said since the ad did not show a specific brand, they couldn’t price match. I believe I have done it before on grapes, so, I suppose it all depends on who you get… or, they’re tightening up their policy.  I don’t think it’s a problem at Walmart though.

I love Aldi! I would rather go to one store and save the most money over all than to run all over town picking up stuff here and there! And the even greater plus side, I don’t have to deal with coupons anymore. I have yet to spend over $90 in Aldi and that is purchasing a week to 2 weeks worth of groceries for my family at one time. And….before Aldi came to my town, I was never able to purchase fresh fruits and veggies for my family! Thanks for posting this ad!

      • Absolutely!  I’m glad you like it!

    • Reynoldsja

Land o lakes butter is .50 at bi-lo??

      • susan

        I was wondering that too?

        • Kristi

I think Jenny meant Land O Lakes margarine.

    • Crajm8

I really like Aldi alot. I just filled my large freezer with package chicken breats @.89lbs. Each package about $2 each. A good price to go along with the Fresh Take from Kraft we got for almost free.

      • DD

Where did you get the fresh take from for free?

        • MacBoy

I believe that it is free or super cheap at Publix. If you are outside of Florida, today is the last day. If you are in Florida, you have one more day.

Rolled Oats, Milk, eggs, and some produce.  That is all I get at Aldi’s.  For everything else I just wait for a sale that is significantly cheaper than Aldi and stock up.

I have nothing against Aldi, it is just that their only worthwhile sales are on produce.  All of the other products I can get cheaper elsewhere, even without coupon.

Its not for everyone, but it is for me.

      • Kristi

I agree that the only worthwhile sales are on produce, and at our store I’ve found that I need to go the first couple of days of the sale to find the produce fresh.

I have done a price comparison on staple items (i.e. milk, rolled oats, butter, cheese, etc.) and found Costco to beat Aldi’s prices.  I quickly pay for the Costco membership with savings on dairy.  I guess it depends on where you live and what stores you have.

Yay! 89 cent cauliflower! Week before last, these were huge heads. I mix up some homemade ranch dressing, slice it all up and pour dressing over it. My kids love it! You can use lighter mayo and fat free milk for fewer calories.

I loooove ALDI! Their brand is good quality. Their brownie mix is good-my husband likes them and he is very picky!

    • Vjcpurple

Thank you. I love Artisan Lettuce. forgot the cauliflower. :o(

It’s funny that people get upset over price comparisons, but it’s true…I have a devoted Aldi shopper in my family, and when I’ve mentioned sale/coupon prices I’ve got other places, they think I’m an “Aldi-hater”…lol. I guess just do what works for you: shopping in one discount store, or as I do, making several stops to get the deals (such as the produce deals at Aldi). With my limited part-time work, this is one way I can save money for my family (as long as I’m not making extra trips- whew! those gas prices). Thanks for all you do Jenny! This site makes saving so much easier for me, and taught me all I need to know about couponing. :)

      • I’m so glad to help!  I’m glad you find the site helpful!

Jenny, I so appreciate your starting to post Aldi deals and comparisons with other stores. We have a large family and we get everything  at aldi that we still need after shopping coupons at all the other stores. It is so nice to know Aldi prices ahead of arriving at the store and knowing which deal is better. Thank you so much.
      your loving fan, Melanie
