    • I love love love Aldi. They had some Laminators at my store last week marked half price so they were only $9.99. Your store may vary. They only mark down what isn’t sold after a period of time.

    • Debbiecarnesjordan

Just started shopping there. Love it!

    • ireneY

Just visited an Aldi’s for the first time yesterday. Love the deals — they seem too good to be true!

    • JackieKC

They are supposed to build an Aldi’s really close to here. The sign has been there since before we moved which will be a year in April. I would love to get a pineapple for 99 cents instead of $2.50 which is the best price I can find here.  I still keep hoping they will get a move on it soon.

      • Theque1981

        Price match at walmart

    • Jill

how does price matching work?  Do you take the Aldi’s ad to Walmart, purchase your items and then go to customer service for a refund?  Or is there some way they can match the price directly at the register?  Thanks!

      • Sonjaml_1999

You take the Aldi ad to Walmart and present it to the cashier.  The cashier will ring up the prices manually to match the ad.

        • Glysergt

Ive never seen the fruit in the store ad….Have I just missed it or something?  If so I’ll keep my eye out i guess.

          • Missdtea

I print out a copy of the ad at their website and take it to Walmart and they accept that.
If you look at their ad match policy online it actually says that the customer does not have to have the ad with them.
I found a copy of their ad match policy at a link on the same page where you find the coupon policy online.

    • sam

ok, Im caving in.  There is an Aldi in Cary, NC near me that I will hit tomorrow.  These prices are good!   I will report back.

    • tiffany

Just got back from Walmart where they said that the brand name on produce needs to be the same as at Walmart, but the Aldi’s ad doesn’t state the brand name.  I had a difficult time.  Can someone point me to guidance from Walmart on this kind of thing?

      • Dereck

Where do you get a hard copy of an ad that includes produce?

        • tiffany

I didn’t have one and neither did they.  So that’s my point, can we pricematch at walmart to Aldi’s on produce or not?

        • Sosorozo

          At the store

          At the store

        • You can also print the ad from their website.  It includes produce, however, some produce deals may be regional.

          • CYR

The Wal-Mart in Gainesville, GA told me they do not price match to Aldi.  My hometown wal mart will price match, but they won’t allow you to print the ad from the internet… they say that’s “internet pricing”  I said…. nooooo that’s their ad, I just can’t get a paper copy without going down there and then if I’m already in their store I may as well buy from them… soooo for me I just miss out on the deals unless it’s a good publix week and I make the trip (70 miles round trip)

    • MsBsCandles

The strawberries at Aldi is AMAZING – .79 cents.  I bought 2 boxes, washed them and put them on a platter for a school event.  Everyone was super happy with the trays which would have been a lot more elsewhere.  Thanks for posting.

      • mum2girlz

We have so enjoyed the strawberries too. I stocked up big time! We froze 3 gallons and canned 20 jars of jam. I may go get some more today! That is indeed the best price I’ve ever seen.

    • GUEST

      LOVE Aldi!!!!  :)

    • Missdtea

Eggs are 69 cents a dozen this week. Been a while since they have been that cheap!!!

      • Couponqueen7

Where are you located? I hope they have this deal in Columbia, SC.

        • Missdtea

           I’m in middle TN

    • April

Love Aldi but hate gas prices…  So we went to Walmart yesterday and price matched everything!!  Loved it.  Pineapple, Cantalope, oranges, strawbwerries!!!  Wooohooooo!!!!  People were looking at us as if we were doing something wrong so I always tell people then they do it too!!!  hahaha

      • emj

How do you price match? Do you just tell them Aldi prices and they trust that your’e right?

        • Hey there,
Here is Wal-Mart’s price match policy.  You don’t have to have the ad with you, but it certainly helps.  Some Wal-Mart’s are a little more picky with the price matching than others.

    • Chrystal Griner

My Aldi also had a pack of kiwi (6 or 7) for .99 also! Love their produce.

      • Chrystal Griner

        I’m in the ATL area.

    • bettysue

Strawberries are .99 not .79 – second time have found a mistake on Southern Savers – last time was the prices at Harris Teeter that were incorrect for NC. Maybe you need to specifiy what state the prices are good in.  Thanks.

      • pdsmama

I see your point, however, I have PAID for lists that were less accurate or didn’t include anything that Might have a small variable possible in price.  I would rather have the option of checking to see if it is close to the same price.  Here, strawberries are still at $2.00.

      • Hey there,
So sorry for the error!  Produce prices tend to be regional and I’m afraid there are readers in too many states for me to check prices for each store in each state.

      • Glad to have Southernsavers!!!

We should be very appreciative for all the hard word that she does for FREE…

        • wiiandthekid

Why do you assume Jenny does all this for free? She promotes a lot of products and companies. I’m sure she gets paid for this. She has tons of members to advertise to. She’s built a strong community and leverages that into ad dollars, paid linking, and speaking engagements. Don’t think Jenny doesn’t get anything out of this.

          • Glad to have Southernsavers!!!

I don’t see your point… Have you ever paid anything to southern savers for providing this service to you? Then, it is FREE!  I only hope she receives money from advertisers and such…

      • Momaralf

The strawberries ARE .79 at my Aldis. I just priced matched them last Saturday at Walmart.
