Amazon’s deal of the day is a HUGE discount on the KitchenAid Professional 600 Series 6 quart mixer.  This is regularly $499, but for today you can get it for $209.99 after a $50 mail in rebate.

Choose between silver or this cinnamon red.

You also get a 2 year subscription to Food & Wine or Travel+Leisure with purchase.

(Searching other sites the best price I could find was $360, so this is an awesome deal!!)

Indeed this is an AWESOME deal.  I purchased my Kitchenaid 6-qt pro mixer from Sam’s Club ~10 years ago.  Worth every penny if you bake anything — even only chocolate chip cookies!  This is the lowest price I have ever seen — currently Sam’s sells this for ~$270 with redeemable $30 gift card.  Do not delay, you won’t be sorry.

Oh my gosh, I already have a Pro500 but am actually tempted to buy this, maybe just as a gift. I’ve never seen a KitchenAid deal like this before.

The $50 rebate qualifying models dont seem to match up with the model that is on sale…. is there any way I can verify the model will be good for the rebate? Amazon has the link to it, but I’d want to be sure first. thanks!

    • Jessica

I noticed that mistake too.  I read on another site that it was a error too.  But is still seems like a great price.

Do y’all think Im crazy for wanting this mixer over a new iphone even though I already have a mixer? And I even have a prehistoric phone that is in need of replacing. I bake a lot but mine is just too small sometimes. My husband thinks Im nuts!

      • ashley e

If you don’t make a bunch of double batches of things, I’d say go with the phone. You’ll use it a lot more. But, this is an awesome price if it’s something you’ve been wanting. I may try to sell my 5qt on Craigslist or other.

The rebate is for these. These are model KP26M1X. The letters in place of the X at the end are just for the different colors.

I contacted Amazon about the rebate and they replied that this model DOES qualify for the rebate!!  I’m copying and pasting their reply here: “I have checked your order and we have confirmed the KitchenAid KP26M1P Stand Mixers are eligible for the $50 + bonus mail-in rebate listed on the product pages on Amazon. The customer should check the KP26M1X box under “Please indicate which qualified model you purchased” on the rebate form. The rebate is valid for purchases through December 31, 2011, but the customer has until January 31, 2012 to submit the rebate form.”

        ccleary!!!!  Please contact me!

I ordered the mixer on Mon. and printed out the rebate.  Today, out of curiousity, I looked to see what price was listed. It now has a statement that the silver and cinnamon gloss are NOT eligible for the rebate.   I have not contacted Amazon yet, but I plan to!  The rebate is the main reason I ordered!

I ordered the cinnamon gloss, which one did you order??

        • ccleary

I ordered the silver.  To be honest, it’s still a good deal weather the rebate applies or not and I’ve been wanting one forever.  It came last week and I’ve been using it like crazy but only when I can get my husband away from it!  I’m sending in the rebate today and hoping for the best, but I don’t regret getting it either way.

I found the answer to my query!  It IS eligible, but only the ones ordered on Mon.  I found the info on Amazons Facebook page.

Thanks guys! That’s awesome news. Now I’m just researching reviews and trying to watch some video about how loud they are. That’s the one complaint I’m seeing
most about the 600 Pro. Anyone have an opinion on how loud these things are?

    • JessicaN

I’ve also read that you can get a $24 rebate if you refuse the magazine subscription! Makes it even better!

    • ashley e

After a lot of research, it looks like this is not a good option if you’re planning to make a ton of bread.  still great if you are making double batches of other foods.

    • Jessica

How do you refuse the magazine?

      • GJN

The rebate form shows you how. Send a note to publisher before January 31.
I’m getting mine for $185 (as long as the rebates work the way they are supposed to…)! =)
I waited two years for a deal like this, and cinnamon gloss is the color I wanted! Praise the Lord!
